Ordered on line and need to pay for returns. It is very inconvenience. I need to pay for shipping for stuff delivered and pay again for stuff not as expected. Will not order on line any more and it is hard to find store. I think I will say bye to Ann Taylor.

Ann Taylor is a lovely place to shop. Every time I go there and find new designs and styles according to the season. I would highly recommend it.
Supply issues
I ordered multiple full suits for an upcoming conference. I ordered about 3 weeks ahead of time. I understand there are processing and shipping delays. Everything was in stock when I ordered it. I start receiving shipments separately over a week later. I am thrilled to found pants/skirt suit! (No complaints about quality) However, the blazer is cancelled and is now completely out of stock. A few days later it is back in stock. I order it again. I also paid for expediated shipping hoping to get it tailored. I never received a shipped email so I called a couple of days later and the customer service said it is out of stock. That is it. So essentially, do not trust that these items will arrive to you if you need it for an upcoming event.
I visited the outlet store on my birthday
I visited the outlet store on my birthday with my discount voucher in hand. I was not greeted at the door like most stores. (No other customers in the store) I looked around for 30 minutes, still no greeting, no inquiry if I needed help. I found 5 items that I wanted to try on. I waited approximately 5 minutes to see if I needed to be directed to the fitting rooms. There was another woman trying on outfits and she came out into the store to get praise from the employees. I found out that she was an employee herself. (bringing the employee count up to 3) I waited at the checkout counter for approximately 3 minutes before another employee came to ring me up. She was cold and not friendly. She questioned my birthday coupon and then dismissed it as it was already in the computer. I found all three employees to be very unprofessional and lacking in customer service skills. This USED TO BE my favorite store. Sadly.
Ann Taylor’s quality of clothing…
Ann Taylor’s quality of clothing varies based on where it was produced. Upon looking at the tag on my clothing ;I’ve noticed if the garment was made in Indonesia it doesn’t have loose buttons or hanging threads. I can’t say the same for garments produced in the Philippines. I mainly purchase my business suits from Ann’s and I would highly recommend they reconsider their packaging and provide garment bags for suits. The packaging is horrible and cheap; especially considering I am paying $200 for a suit jacket.

Good shipping - okay product not the best
I bought a new sweater from here a few months ago.. shipping was fast but quality wasn't the best... I already noticed some stiching coming out - they don't make them like they used to!

I would give zero stars if possible. I have been a loyal customer and Ann Taylor card holder for over 10 years. They were my go to for work clothes. Their selection & quality were consistent and customer service was great. Ordered 3 dresses online to pick up at local store, which showed they were in stock. When I called store to verify order was received & items ready, they had no record of it, but my AT credit card has been charged twice for the order. Spent 2 hours on the phone with Customer service and cardholder services and all I am told is that the temporary authorization SHOULD be released in 3 days….it has been 8 days. No merchandise and $600.00 hold on my card….THE WORST customer service.

Ann Taylor used to have nice classic clothes. A little boring perhaps, but decent quality. I recently went to their 5th Avenue store in NYC. Their were very few items displayed. Just a few pants, blazers, blouses and dresses.
I understand that there are supply chain issues for merchandise, but there was nothing to buy except a pair on black pants. Just a couple of items that were not black or orange.
I hope they don't go out of business.
Zero Customer Service
If I could give zero stars I would. Heed the warning of other reviewers. Ordered two full-priced suits and only received half of a navy and half of a black. Items are still in stock but apparently never shipped. There is no Tracking #. The only help Customer Service gave is they can do a complete investigation. In the meantime, I have no suits for an important interview. I won't trust my business to them again.

I am writing this review to warn future customers of Ann Taylor that it is better to shop at other stores. I was a very loyal customer of Ann Taylor for years, making orders for delivery every two months. The last order has not arrived and it has been a few weeks already. The Customer Service at Ann Taylor has been absolutely terrible. I have tried to reach them by phone, email, and chat, and all they say is that they need to conduct a full investigation to offer me any refund. Their attitude has been very unprofessional and unresponsive so far. Completely unacceptable. There is a reason why this company is almost bankrupt. Do not shop there! There are other stores that are better and more responsive to consumer needs.
Worst company for delivery.
I shop Ann Taylor for long time and it was pleasant experience. Last couple months I experience a lot of problems with Ann Taylor delivery. It was late for couple times .This time they are late and told me that they need another 12 business days to delivery my order. I am not ordering from Ann Taylor anymore.
Updated: I received email from Ann Taylor that my items are not available anymore .I called customer service and associate said that it is available and kindly reordered for me .I received only 1 items from 4 .When I start calling and asking for rest if my order ,my items became unavailable again. So ,dear customers, please be aware, you might never get your order .

I have been a long time customer of Ann Taylor. I recently purchased some clothes from them online and was really disappointed to learn that they charge you to return items. In this day and age during covid you would think that a store would want to encourage not discourage online purchases. What a rip off. I placed an order on December 2nd that was shipped in 3 separate packages. One of the packages has not moved since December 9th. They keep telling me it's "on it's way" when it is clearly not. I've contacted customer service FIVE TIMES for a refund and keep getting the run around. Terrible and very disappointing for a company I used to love. No more.

Ordered 4 items Dec. 9, 2020. Rec. 3 of them on Dec. 23 while the last item kept saying "processing" Contacted cust. service on 12-28 to inquire. That chat was disconnected after a half hour of nothing. 2nd call responded with a statement about asking the company to look into it??? Then Jan 4 got email that said to expect it 1-9 However the Post office tracking # shows the item has not been received by them. cust. service is one of the worst i have ever dealt with.
BEWARE of ordering gifts needed within a month!
I love that Ann Taylor carries a wide line of petite clothing, and I do love their clothes. However, DO NOT ORDER if you need an item by a specific date! On November 24, 2020, I ordered two blouses to give as holiday gifts, which I expected to receive in time to mail them from NY to FL. Hello: it is now December 19, 2020, and USPS tracking indicates the package has not been received from the shipping partner. Customer service has not been able to assist. Meanwhile, I several other competitor companies sent my online purchases immediately, and I received items from them within a week of purchase.
Ann Taylor you have lost my package
Ann Taylor you have lost my package, you have lied to me saying it's delayed but you don't where is it. You keep telling to check the tracking on USPS which on 12/1 says they are waiting for the package and no further information. Your own website says it should have been delivered 12/9. On 12/10, your CS dept said 12/10. Today your CS department says wait til 12/15 for an order that was placed 11/26. An order you have no idea where it is by your own admission. And now you refuse to issue a refund for a lost package. I expected better from AT.
