I booked an engineer online on a Sunday and he came the following morning in the 10-12 time slot and then gave 30 mins warning of exactly what time he’d arrive. V helpful. Washing machine problem sorted quickly and at a competitive price.

Very bad.
I don't like to write bad reviews - companies can be incompetent but nice, or can be rude but effective. These guys are rude and incompetent. They don't show up to appointments and blame the customer, they put the phone down on you in mid conversation when your raise a legitimate concern. Oh and they lie about things too (eg how many times they tried to call you) . So I would steer clear of them. If I could put down a negative rating I would.

I had an issue with the dishwasher (tap…
I had an issue with the dishwasher (tap kept flashing red). The so-called engineer turned up, did not perform any checks and simply concluded that the heat pump was broken. He eventually returned (two weeks or so later) with a new heat pump - and charged me £165 for it. He also took away the old heat pump without permission. The change in the heat pump did not fix the issue (the tap was still flashing red as before) so we asked him to come back. When he returned he now claimed that there was also a leak with the dishwasher. This leak is supposed to have magically appeared in the period when we were not using the dishwasher. He had obviously not done his job properly. I called customer service to complain and for a refund. The guy on the phone refused to let me speak, was rude and aggressive and swore at me. I would give zero stars if that were possible.

Deeply disappointed
Deeply disappointed with Appliancentre Ltd's service. Their technician came to diagnose our dishwasher's drainage issue in July 2024. Instead of checking the basic drainage connection under the sink, they diagnosed a faulty pump and recommended replacing the entire dishwasher. Following their advice, we spent £500 on a new dishwasher, only to find it had the exact same problem when installed. The real issue? A simple grease blockage in the drain hose that should have been spotted during the initial inspection.
When challenged about this, they refused to refund either the £90 call-out fee or help with the cost of the unnecessary new dishwasher. Their response was dismissive, claiming external blockages were "beyond the scope" of their service - despite the drain connection being easily accessible under the sink.
Save your money and find a more thorough and honest appliance repair service. A competent technician should check both internal and external drainage components before recommending such expensive solutions.

Update: they have said that they checked the drain under the sink they did not. Had they checked the dishwasher drain pipe under the sink they would have found the grease blockage. A simple part of the service they failed to carry out.

We regret your disappointment. To clarify, we did not sell or install the new dishwasher, nor did we perform any repairs during our visit. During our visit on 9th July, our technician thoroughly inspected your dishwasher, including checking the drain hose and connection under the sink. Based on his findings, he diagnosed a faulty pump and provided a repair quote and part replacement price, which you declined.
Your first communication regarding this matter was on 30th October. The subsequent grease blockage discovered is considered an external issue, beyond the scope of our internal appliance diagnostic service. We strive to provide clear, thorough evaluations and appreciate your feedback.

Avoid!
Avoid! Do not use, it’s a scam. They come out to repair your appliance, then say it would it’s not worth repairing but luckily they can replace and install. I fell for it as I didn’t properly read the reviews. Take a look and you will see a pattern. Customer service is woeful. One rude man who puts the phone down the moment you try to ask a question. After they said my fridge wasn’t repairable I foolishly ordered a replacement from them. I then had the wrong item delivered and have yet to receive a replacement. I’ve asked for a refund but no luck yet. Just a series of rude replies from the man in customer service, he actually swore at me last time I asked when I could expect my refund.

Great service!
Excellent and prompt delivery of new washer/dryer and no complaints about the six flights of stairs to the fourth floor (though I did have to pay a little extra). Installed and all working satisfactorily. I would definitely use them again.
