I recently requested a trade-in on apple iphone. I was offered more than in a different store so I accepted an offer of a gift card. I was sent a return pack. I followed the instructions and returned the pack via my local post office free. Argos acknowledged receipt and within 2 days I had received my gift card via email. A great service.

Simple and fast
Made the process very easy. Sent me what I needed to post it back, just had to provide a small box for the phone. Email updates were on time and once they'd received the phone I got paid out inside of two days

Great Trade-In Price, Dreadful Returns Service
Argos promised and came through with a great trade-in price for my old phone. If that was it, I'd be giving 5*, but the pre-paid sticker to send the item wasn't compatible with the post office returns system. Talking to the teller, it seems this happens a lot with pre-paid return labels from Argos - they just don't work. In the end I had to pay the return myself, which took off 1/4 of the trade-in price pay-out.

The price i was offered for my trade in was alot less then first offered although I did expect because it cost me £11 in postage i did want to have to pay that again to send to another company. I do not know why the price dropped from 212 to 126, it would be good if you know the reasons why or can contact someone to find out my phone was in perfect working order no scratches that i was aware of. Today I was contacted by Billy who explained why the price was lower I had put the wrong model details in so was quoted for a different phone my fault, was so please to know what happened even knowing it was my fault
