Armishaws were thoroughly efficient and helpful with our move, spreading it over a few weeks so we could get organised as some items we are storing and some were going into cottages. We have moved quite a few times over the years and have used several removal companies, but I have to say that Armishaws Removals & Storage have been by far the worst company we have ever used. During our move, the removal team scratched my very expensive, brand-new flooring, broke an antique mirror and damaged a curtain pole. When I asked the member of the team who had damaged the flooring how I could make a claim for the cost of repairs, I was simply told to “wipe the floor” before he walked away. I found this response extremely disappointing. All of our boxes were clearly labelled with the rooms they belonged in. However, rather than taking them to the relevant rooms, the team just left part of our boxes in the garage, meaning we had to move them ourselves. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again.

We really love the service today. Nothing to complain about just a big thank you very much for the crew today that helped us with the move.

We had a fantastic team of two who moved us from Kingston to a little village in The Cotswolds. Paul & Martin could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They worked extremely hard, packing up our large house in two days and putting everything where we required it to be. They were very careful with everything and put my worries to rest regarding moving my piano. Would highly recommend.

We had to find a moving company very last minute for a long distance move, and were delighted to discover Armishaws. They were able to send a team member out the next day to price up, and we were booked in within a week.
The removals team (Andy, Alec & Lee) were excellent in every way, as well as being great fun to have around, and they really helped make an incredibly stressful time, very easy!

Choosing the right furniture removal firm is so important to reducing one of life’s most stressful times. The team from Armishaws did just that for us, twice, as we moved out of London and consolidated furniture from remote storage. They did it with care, determined dedication and humour. Yes our choice was to packed and unpack, but the price was competitive for our needs.

2 moves so far. Both incredibly efficient teams. From friendly and well explained visit to quote from Craig, then a big shout out to Andy R and Gary who worked so hard with packing and first big move into storage. Then Wayne & Sam for the 2nd delivery. Nothing a problem for either team. Very efficient and friendly.. great guys that make for a stress free experience! An absolute credit to your company. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish. From the very beginning, the team were incredibly helpful and flexible, particularly around the uncertainty of our moving dates, and they were happy to discuss storage options if we needed them (thankfully, we didn’t!).

The removals team themselves were fantastic — incredibly helpful, respectful and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently, but always with great care and attention to our belongings, which made what could have been a very stressful day feel so much easier.

Had my military move from Winchester to Stafford with Dan and Chad, both great lads who held themselves professionally and got all my belongings in and out with no fuss and in great time, despite the hot weather. Would happily have them back for future moves.

We recently moved with Over's and can thoroughly recommend. Our crew were Wayne, Liam, Lewis, Gary & Alex. They worked extremely hard despite the heat and were well organised. They remained cheerful and positive all day. They definitely went the extra mile in getting difficult furniture up the stairs. Nothing at all was broken and they certainly took the stress out of out move for which we were very grateful.

Andy R, Gary and Lewis delivered my furniture and belongings from store to a flat in a London tower block today. They were punctual, friendly and incredibly helpful and hard-working the whole time they were here. I'm only on the second floor but they worked around an initial problem with the lift. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to friends and family. Thanks.

Darren Scutt and Dan mulhearn did my military move today. I have done 9 moves and these have been by far the best we have ever had. Not one single piece of furniture was damaged. No dents in the walls or paintwork. They worked great as a team and were incredibly polite and friendly. I highly recommend these guys and would not hesitate to have them again. They treated my stuff with so much respect. Thank you guys.

We had the most amazing crew who worked tirelessly during the recent heatwave. They were courteous, respectful, thoughtful and friendly, but above all extremely careful loading the vans for the move. At the other end they ensured everything was put where we wanted it and if we then changed our minds they moved it with no complaint. It was the small things that they did during the process that made it so much more enjoyable; from the friendly chats over their well earned drink breaks to finally shaking our hands and wishing us many happy years in our new home. They simply were the best.

The absolute best moving company we’ve ever experienced, I can’t recommend them enough. We have to move fairly frequently because of my husband’s job in the military. Our last move with another company was such a stressful and awful experience that I was absolutely dreading moving day this time round but Taylor, Alex and Zak were so professional and also friendly, it just felt like they were trying really hard to make everything go as well as it could for us. Even just thoughtfully not packing up things that I’d forgotten to say don’t pack like the kettle and the tea and coffee-that made such a huge difference the other end when you can sit down and have a hot drink after the stress of moving house.
The move took place over two really hot days, there was a lot to pack up and unload the other end, the team were really speedy and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pre-move survey was also really easy.
Armishaws have really set the bar high for the next set of movers when we will have to relocate again in a few years, both my husband and I are hoping we can request to have them again because they were so good.
