AVS Fencing & Landscaping Supplies - Lewes Avis 

First time I've used AVS. Staff were all friendly and helpful and I was seen within a relatively short time of arriving. I wasn't made to feel any less as a 'DIY' member of the public rather than a tradesperson. Timber was of a good standard. When loading up my order the person checked the rails and only gave me ones that were straight, rejecting any twisted or bent ones.

Ordered online but products too big to fit in the car good job I brought a tape and saw to cut down. Alsford and b&q have a cutting service. Other than this good quality products.

Don’t bother with AVS Fencing if you need your order in a hurry or even with in a few weeks.
After placing an order online it took some 10 days for them to process the order only for them to inform me there were items not in stock. Then another two weeks and an email from me chasing the order. Out of stock at my local branch but in stock at their other branches. When questioned if they could get the items from other branches, they pretty much told me it wasn’t worth their bother. It took 4 weeks to get to this and if I hadn’t told them to cancel the out of stock items, i’ve no idea how long the remaining order would have taken. Appalling service. There are plenty of other suppliers around.

Once again a great company to deal with. There was a slight problem with order but this was sorted out quickly and they went out of their way to get it delivered on time. Products were great quality.

Very expensive compared to similar suppliers, staff not very helpful or very responsive with poor communication regarding delivery when ordering online and passed on to local depot.

Competitive pricing and 2 large fence posts delivered within a week by a very cheerful delivery guy.

Highly recommend.

Only real issue was I had to call to ask when ready then told was ready a day ago . Not a problem but expected a text like screwfix/ wickes to say it’s ready .. Othewise friendly staff 👍

Second time this month I have been to the Lewes branch and once again the guys were on the ball.Loaded within 10 minutes,happy days!The low cost is a big bonus as well.Already telling people about you guys!Super service!

Very friendly and helpful. I wanted to delay my delivery and this was easily done.

Product was very good but information after order was bad not one e mail update. It took me to phone enquiries/sales to find out when delivery was due to change some items which were never acknowledged. However the guy on the enquiries/sales line was fabulous he corrected my errors in the order gave me the delivery waybill and told me when I might expect the goods. My local branch however when they did answer the phone were useless not trained properly and had no idea even when given all the information. Sorry have still given you 5 stars but you need to invest in customer management training and communication.

Poor communication, sold me something they didn't have and then missed the delivery date for the alternative item.
