I use to think that dancing wasn't for me because it's something that I just wasn't at all comfortable with and I didn't think it was something I could easily learn. But recently I came across bachata dance academy online and it has totally changed things for me for the better when it comes to dancing. The thing I enjoy the most is that the course is very straightforward and simple to follow. I believe anyone can go through this course and be successful if they watch all the videos and listen to all the tips given by the instructors. But one of the great things about this course is that it also allows you to keep in touch with the instructors and the community via the Facebook group. So if you have any questions or concerns you always have access to help along the way. Thanks to this I'm continuing to go through the rest of the course with ease , my dance steps are improving with more and more practice, and my confidence high. I would highly recommend this course to others.

At the time of purchasing their courses we were just beginning to get into Bachata. Hands down they were the course that kept us on track. Detailed, clear and informative. Not too difficult and not to simple. All the fancy decorative moves that only professional dancers can do, stripped away to make the steps functional and when need be add a little flavour. I wish more courses were like this. I highly recommend it for beginners

What I like most about Demitrio and Nicole is that they've compiled a syllabus that any master teacher would be proud of. It progresses logically as it layers the more complex figures on top of the basics, which a lot of instructors aren't that good at. Many great dancers leave a lot to be desired when it comes to teaching. But this team breaks things down beautifully. They take the time to explain when a demonstration alone can't suffice. Finally, the combination of the modern sensual style with the traditional is exactly what I was looking for.

Bachata Dance Academy provides comprehensive bachata and salsa courses. I discovered them while searching through Youtube looking for videos that would help me learn bachata. The videos were extremely hopeful. I wanted to expand my knowledge even further so I decided to try their full online bachata course. I enjoy how the course begins with basics and provides sufficient detail to help you learn. Additionally, the course progressively becomes more challenging. I would recommend it to anyone looking to start dancing bachata from zero or looking to improve their skills.

I started learning Bachata last September and came across Demetrio & Nicole's YouTube channel while looking up some of the moves I was learning. I really enjoyed the approach Demetrio & Nicole took to teaching; in-depth and easy to digest.

I took the plunge and purchased their Solo Bachata, Pre-Partnerwork Essentials Course. It was a great investment and was the perfect combo with my face-to-face classes. This helped to build my confidence and start dancing at socials. It can be difficult to get one on one instruction in a group lesson, and this ramped up my progress.

Over the Christmas holidays, I purchased The Complete Online Bachata Mastery Course Bundle. WOW... This course is jam-packed with everything I could possibly ever need on my Bachata journey. It is easy to navigate and has so much to choose from. It has helped reinforce things I've learnt in class, the musicality section is sending my leading ability to the next level and I've got so many new ideas for my social dancing. I'm really enjoying the platform, highly recommended.

The Bachata Dance Academy online courses are just great! The instructions are very clear and easy to grasp, and also very energetic and fun despite being online. I recommend these courses to anyone interested in learning Bachata, from beginner to intermediate.

I had started learning Bachata at a school near me which closed for about 6 months so in frustration I went online and found BDAO, it was the best thing I’ve ever done for my dancing. The course is so clear and well put together, you not only learn the dance moves but even more importantly how to mix the moves together which makes your time on the dance floor so much more relaxing and fun. I now have a smile on my face while dancing.

My boyfriend and I enrolled in the bachata and salsa courses online with Nicole and Demetrio and every lesson is amazing. The courses are so well structure with so many tips and explanations to support the learning of the students. It is a complete course that bring you to your best, in a easy progresive way. I recently purchased an online bachata dance course from Bachata Dance Academy and I'm so glad I did! Demetrio and Nicole are incredibly passionate and provided excellent foundational material for a beginner like myself. They also provided an in-depth musicality section which taught me how to dance to the different instruments of a song. Plus, their enthusiasm for bachata and genuine care for their students was so evident throughout the course. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning how to dance bachata!

I enrolled in the Online Bachata Mastery course a couple of weeks ago and already feel that it has been a worthwhile investment. Nicole and Demetrio are very good instructors and the course is really laid out professionally, which makes it easy to follow for a beginner like me.

I feel as though my Bachata dancing skills are improving and I am fully confident that once I follow through with the entire course, I will become decently competent in dancing.

I bought the entire course when it was "on sale" (FOMO marketing) which was a great deal compared to taking lessons. And I was on fire for Bachata learning at the time.

At this time, I had to shelf the learning project, but I've gone through most of the beginner's course and took a peek at other courses. The video quality, presentation, learning structure, instructor knowledge and personality are all top notch. They also have plenty of ways to stay connected or ask questions (e.g., social media, e-mail).

You can learn a lot and go from rookie to an excellent dancer in a decent time (better when you have a consistent partner at home) if you practice every day. The content is pretty in-depth and covers a vast amount of material as opposed to just brevity and the basics.

The Intermediate course does this well and you learn more advanced moves to level up. Then the other courses will "polish" your dancing such as timing, musicality, body movement/fluidity, styling, suggested drills, etc.

For some, it may be an upfront investment (even if "on sale") but it's worth it as either a main/only course or with other methods of learning.

Demetrio & Nicole are excellent instructors, the course is very easy to follow and the quality of teaching is fantastic. The course is very comprehensive taking you from beginner to more intermediate combinations. I appreciate the course also has a section on musicality as well. Highly recommended!

I've taken in-person Bachata lessons and bought Bachata courses from famous European instructors. The Bachata courses in BDA are #1 across the board. Demetrio & Nicole breaks down every movement in a way that's clear and understandable. Before BDA, I didn't enjoy social dancing at all because I was ashamed about how new I was to dancing. The social dance tips in BDA allowed me to enjoy social dancing and gave me new ways of expressing myself to music. The small combos I learned from the courses gave me inspiration to create my own combos on the social floor. I would highly recommend anyone of any skill level to buy these courses.

The best way to learn to dance. Go at your own pace, using your own schedule, dancing with just your own partner. The videos are well structured, but my retaining and you really feel like you’re connected with your instructors.

Experience is great! User friendly excellent explanation! Definitely a must a have if you want to improve your dancing skills.

I started learning Salsa and Bachata by watching Nicole and Demetrio’s free videos on YouTube for about a month before I enrolled in their courses. Before I went to my first local live Salsa class I had already watched their basic footwork lesson and practiced on my own so I had no trouble executing the basic steps in my first live class! The course is structured in a way that allows you to learn the fundamentals (basics) first and then continue to add on as you progress. The course will take you from your basic “essential” moves, guided footwork, simple combinations to more intermediate combinations. I have greatly enjoyed watching and learning from Nicole and Demetrio. They explain every dance move they make really well and have great rapport with each other. This is coming from someone with no past dance experience. I highly recommend this course if you want to make it easier on yourself to learn Salsa or Bachata. I find that it really helps to have already watched the moves online that you will most likely have to execute with a dance partner in a live class.
