Great experience! I contacted more than 20 workshops to get my unique bike checked - only Balfe's Notting hill was up for challenge.
Brilliant specialists, dealt with my bike really well. I was clear on timing (it did take a while) and it was done really well. I got full briefing what's been done, my bike had test ride to assure everything was tip top before returning to me (super reassuring) and now runs better than the day I purchased it. Pricing wise - same as other workshops charge for full MOT on elongated e-cargo - but the quality of service absolutely outstanding.

My road bike was delivered with severed…
My road bike was delivered with severed brake cables, even with the delivery checklist having indicated that they had been verified as working. I discovered that they were faulty on a test ride as I was going downhill approaching a roundabout. I managed to brake by scraping my heels along the road, but it could have resulted in a dangerous crash. After phoning the helpline, Balfe’s Bikes did pay for the remedial work needed to fit new cables, carried out by my local bike shop, but there was no explanation or apology for why it happened in the first place.
