Barclays Bank 

Don’t even bother filing a dispute for a charge because they won’t do anything about it. You can even file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they still won’t do anything.

I was very fortunate to speak to Lucky from Leicester Barclays branch- she was amazing! I had an issue caused by Barclays Card and their customer service, but Lucky managed to sort it out. She was not put off by some setbacks, she tried different ways to approach the issue and after nearly an hour she succeeded- she was simply awesome. What a asset to have in the branch! Thank you, Lucky.

Today I visited Barclays Bank in Burnley Lancashire, and was helped by Nathan with my online credit card banking. He was extremely patient, clear and professional throughout the process, as it was a tricky problem to sort out. Nathan took the time to explain everything step by step, making sure I understood. I left feeling confident and well supported, Thanks again Nathan you are a star !

I made a double payment by mistake. I requested the sencond payment to be applied the the next months payment, simple. No, three phone calls later with Barclay resulted in two customer service reps out and out stating lies. Now the customer service chat doesn't even recognize the root of the problem. Reps not telling the truth and correcting a simple mistake that they say will take two months to correct. Simple case of them holding our money for their profitt. I cannot tell you the frustration we have felt. I am a disabled Firefighter on a fixed income that made a mistake. Barclay would not listen resulting in financial hardship.

I received very helpful advice from Devi. She was very friendly and patient and I came away very satisfied.

Attended an appointment at Tenby local branch today. Rachel was informative, helpful and very knowledgeable. She resolved an issue that had been ongoing for some time. First class service from her.

Continual fraudulent activity on a joint bank account.
Numerous debit cards were issued to me and then cancelled, and no one thought to flag that there might be something wrong. All my profile details were changed by hackers, and my last debit card was intercepted and sent to an unknown address. My savings account was hacked. After weeks of investigation, when I flagged the fraud, money was returned to the joint current account; there is still a block on my savings account. I can't return the money to the savings account or access what is still in there. There are individuals on the phone or in what remains of local branches that may be good, but on the whole, this bank is terrible. It has been a stressful period and is still not over.

Hands down the worst experience i have ever had at a bank ever. I have no access to my online banking and app banking just because a member of staff reset something that doesnt allow me to access my account.

Think very carefully by depositing you hard earnt money into this bank its extremely dangerous cant and leave you for days if not weeks without access to you bank acocunt

We can't recommend Catherine Cox highly enough. A satellite worker in the Macclesfield Libary, her attention to detail and custome service is second to none. She is always happy and able to help.

Extremely prompt, helpful and courteous service at the Bath branch, dealt with my issue most efficiently and the employee, Chris, was a positive credit to the bank. I really could not have wished for better service

I have not done anything wrong but my account got closed after 11 years of using without any reason. They said in letter: "we can't tell you anything else about why we're closing your account".

I have been with barclays for over 9 years I have regular money coming in applied for a loan got told no because I'm on benefits which is stupid they would rather give out a loan to illegal immigrants who can't pay back so don't trust barclays bank they are useless

Barclays Bank are such a pain, really poor service, money in my business account but they keep stopping my payments to contractors. Of course no agents available at weekends, thinking of going elsewhere

The service at local Barclays in Torquay was excellent Bridie and Dominic were very helpful long may this service continue

I've been with Barclays over 30 years always been ok.
But since local branches closing absolute nightmare!
Yesterday made an appointment to open 2 more accounts for my teenagers what a nightmare.
Organized to go into local branch to do so.
To be called an hour later to say it was cancelled. They shouldn't of made the appointment.
Organized an appointment for the Saturday morning to be told I needed to join online video link and could only open one account today! What are they coming to? A couple of years ago you would make appointment at local branch (which no longer exists) half an hour later it would be done!

Won't be opening with Barclays looking at other options.

Excellent. Couldn't fault the service received. Lisa Burton at the Rochford banking hub was extremely helpful, polite and courteous, not just to me but to every customer she engaged with whilst I was there. My query was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and it gives me greater confidence in banking with Barclays. Thank you.
