I have just finished consuming my first and last ever Barebells product which was a chocolate milkshake. I am not a fussy eater but this tasted very unpleasant like a cup of sugary water with the texture of sand. I'll stick to Yazoo.

Good product lousy shipping

While their product is good, avoid ordering direct from this company. It’s been over four days since the delivery date for it to arrive, and still nothing. The ups tracking number is useless, and no response from them at all except for a standard computer generated “apology”.

Whoever is in charge of customer service at this company needs to be FIRED.

Jeg vil gerne rose Barbells og sige, at de totalt har styr på, hvad de laver. De har mange gode produkter, kosttilskud og meget andet, som faktisk smager udmærket. Især deres proteinbarer er jeg stor fan af.
Indtil jeg stødte på en af deres proteinbarer med Peppermint Bark. Det er en chokoladebar med små stykker pebermynte udenpå, som knaser. Det er ikke en rar følelse at få i munden på nogen måde. Ham, der har udtænkt den her smag, er dum – men ham, som har ført den ud i livet, er endnu dummere. den smagere i det hele taget bare klamt
Men alle deres andre proteinbarer er helt i top.

horrible customer service

I ordered a box of protein bars on December 23 through Amazon as a Christmas gift for my son, and they were delivered on December 24. When opened, every single bar was melted, misshapen, and clearly heat-damaged
After contacting Amazon, I was initially told the item was non-returnable, and it took considerable effort and multiple conversations with customer service before I was eventually issued a refund. During this process, Amazon instructed me to contact the manufacturer directly, which I did.
Barebells responded quickly at first and asked for photos and the expiry date. Upon checking, the bars were expired as of December 18 , before they were even delivered. This was clearly shown in the photos I provided. What I found most disappointing was the final response from Barebells. Once they learned Amazon had issued a refund, they simply replied with a short message acknowledging the refund and ended the conversation , no explanation, no apology, and no acknowledgment that expired products had been sent out. This was an expensive product ($44.95) intended as a Christmas gift, and regardless of whether Amazon issued a refund, I expected basic accountability and customer care from the brand itself.Unfortunately, based on both the product quality and the lack of meaningful customer service, I would not recommend this brand.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service…

Absolutely disgraceful customer service from Barebells. I ordered the advent calendar back in November for my boyfriend who has been a loyal customer for years. The order went through and €60 later I was excited for him to receive it. A weeks passes - I hear nothing. It’s now December - nothing. I write asking them where it is - ‘oh sorry, it seems there wasn’t enough stock so we’re getting one made for you’. Ok, thank you, I wait. Another week - nothing. Another - nothing. Everytime I follow up they apologise and offer a measly 10% discount which later rose to 20. As if I’ll be using that in the future. It’s now December 23rd and apparently the order was ‘shipped’ over a week ago. Heard nothing. Nothing received. No refund offer or proper apology. Such a disappointment and waste of money. Alexia and Kiera have done well at saying ‘don’t worry we will sort it!’ And then spectacularly failing. Absolutely waste of time.

Missing items, zero communication

Ordered £112 worth of products. Half the order arrived. Reported the missing items immediately - no response. One box eventually turned up a week later; the other is apparently sitting at a DPD pickup point somewhere, but Barebells haven't bothered to provide tracking, so I've no idea where.

I've now sent three emails. Not a single reply. Not even an acknowledgement.

The products themselves are good. The customer service is non-existent. If something goes wrong with your order, you're on your own.

Have had to raise a dispute with PayPal for the undelivered item. Shouldn't have to threaten chargebacks to get a response from a company I've just handed over £100+ to.

Poor Order tracking and Customer Service

My order was delayed and there was no explanation given or response from 2 emails I sent to their nominated address. Order Tracking is very limited. You can’t login to anything to check in any detail. I’m only giving them 2 stars rather than 1 because the product itself is good when it does arrive.

Earring found in barebells bar

Stay away from this company. I found an earring in my barebells bar. Absolutely disgusting and have tried to contact barebells before leaving this review but so far not heard anything back via social media and the email response didn’t seem like they cared that I found a object in my food??

Such a shame - great product, terrible service.

Such a shame - I really like these products, but the customer service is awful. Placed an order and heard nothing. Tried to contact them to find out what was going on: 3 emails, 2 Facebook messages, 1 Intra message. Absolute radio silence. No choice but to start a credit card chargeback, which I hate to have to do. Great product, letting themselves down.

STAY CLEAR FROM ORDERING AT THIS COMPANY!!!!

Avoid ordering from this company or should I say con artists - not even worthy of any stars after the shocking service that I've received!!

I placed an order with them however, when I received my order confirmation and tried tracking my order on their website it said that my order could not be found. I didn't think too much into it as I assumed that it would take a couple of hours for my order to reach into their system. However, a day later I still got the same message that the order could not be found.

Under their FAQS it states the following: "When will I receive my order? Order before 3pm for delivery the next working day. Orders placed after 3pm from Friday-Sunday will be shipped on Monday. You will be sent tracking information in a separate email once your parcel is shipped". A week later from when I placed my order and numerous emails sent to them they said there was an issue with the order as the raspberry bars were short dated . Why did it take for me to send numerous emails for them to tell me this?!! Also their homepage states: "We offer a delicious range of protein-enriched alternatives to snacks". Clearly that's yet again another lie and given the experience that I've experienced it needs to be changed to 'We offer a delicious range of SHORT DATED protein-enriched alternatives to snacks'.

Anyway, they then sent out the order despite ignoring my request for a full refund and of no surprise the raspberry bars were not sent with the order. I've tried emailing them so many times but I presume they are ignoring me. Their website states: "We are looking forward to hearing from you! We aim to response within 48 business hours". Clearly that is yet again another lie so from my total count that's the third lie. It should be changed to the following: "We do not look forward to hearing from you! We will never respond to your queries'.

To conclude, I was a first time customer ordering from this shocking company but I will never ever be ordering from here again. They clearly do not know how to treat their customers and I do not recommend from ordering at this company they are the most vile and abhorrent company ever. Clearly they're con artists where five star customer service is NON-EXISTENT!!!!!!!

Poorly dated bars

I placed an order on the 07/08/2025 and paid full price for a box of 12 the raspberry cream bars only to find they were short dated. I contacted customer service and they didn’t do anything.

Lang leveringstid samt fejl når ordren endlige modtsges

Hører aldrig fra dem !
Skriver 2 mails hvor jeg høfligt spørg hvor min ordre bliver af. Får aldrig svar på disse 2 henvendelser. Modtager langt om længe min ordre, ca. 3 uger efter jeg har lagt ordren. Men til min fortvivlelse mangler der en æske. Ringer så til dem og de undskylder mange gange, og lover at de sender mig æsken som mangler samt lidt ekstra, for alt besværet jeg har haft. Men efter 1 uge stadig ikke modtaget noget og nu svare de heller ikke når man ringer til dem.
Tror bestemt at jeg bestiller mine Barebells et andet sted fra næste gang. Mvh Sandra
Onsdag d. 20 august har jeg modtaget min sidste æske Barebells samt en masse ekstra som plaster på såret. 1000 tak for god behandling William. Mvh Sandra

Incredibly delicious protein bars, and incredibly responsive customer service.

I’ve had two occasions where I needed to contact customer service at barbell. This company believes in their product so very much that when I mentioned that I did not care for the flavor of one of their products they were quick to send me another box of a different flavor. When my shipment arrived and the ice packs had melted, and the product was melted, they completely refunded me for the entire order. They did this with no questions asked because they truly do believe in their product and they truly do wanna make their customers happy. Their products are for the most part, delicious and nutritious and great impact lunches. They are very satisfying. And I would recommend them as a meal replacement at any time to anyone.

Horrible Customer Service

Horrible Customer Service. Either they are not trained or they absolutely hate their job. It took them over a week to get back to me as a discount was not working and by that time an offer expired. They did not offer to honour the offer despite them taking ages in getting back to me in the first place and no being proactive in sorting the problem out. They made up some story about me placing and cancelling an order - not true I never placed the order or paid for it as the discount code was not working so I decided to not proceed with the purchase. They do not own up their own mistakes and try to make it right - this is beyond poor. I also placed an order on 10th June and it's not even here after a week. Their delivery policy says: "2.2 We aim to deliver within two to four business days following confirmation of an order, unless otherwise agreed. " Clearly the above is not true and is making me wonder whether they went under?

Not responding to emails

I ordered 3 boxes from Barebells before realising the bars contain beef, which I do not consume. I returned the shipment to Barebells (the bars or the packaging was unopened, and complied with Barebells return policy) and paid for the shipping. I then sent them proof of shipping to which they confirmed they have received the shipment at their warehouse and are processing it. I followed up for my refund (£66) twice and it has now been 9 days but haven't heard back from them. Their phone number doesn't seem to work either.
