I have been with Bask Bank for about a year now and have had zero issues with them! I have moved money in and out several times with no issues. They have the highest interest rates out there, pushing 5% right now! I don't understand the negative reviews honestly.
NO Customer Service
Have had an Internet High Interest Savings Account for over a year. Yes, the interest rate is high, but if you need "customer service", forget it! Wanted to add my husband to the account and attempted to do so for TWO WEEKS! The issue? You must do this through a phone app. My location renders phone reception poor at best and the transmission of photographs (drivers license and face) would not go through. Tried numerous times. Contacted the "customer service" line four times and asked if there was another way this could be accomplished. May I email the photographs? Was always told to try again. I'm done! They obviously don't want additional money in my/our account.

It’s incredible, I can not reach their customer service at all. There is no one to speak to If scam happens on my account. Very very scary.

Don’t understand low rating. They pay great interest rates on savings and when rates goes up you don’t have to call them to get the better rate— it just goes up.
Avoid this bank...tech and customer service is bad
Worst application process. Must submit biometrics (driver license front and back and selfie). Their tech is useless...no matter how hard you try to focus on the driver license it won't auto-scan. Then if you submit a picture you receive a notification that "bar code can't be read." But allows you to submit and you receive an OK message. Then must await next steps. For us it was an "Error Code" without definition. So, I called this morning. Waited on hold 8 minutes and requested a call back which came about 6 minutes later. Nice agent who explained my biometrics hadn't been received. She sent new text link and both of us re-submitted biometrics. Again, same problem with their technology. But same results..."OK." So, to confirm, I called bank again. Same wait and call-back times. Agent placed me on hold about 5 minutes and returned to tell me she was waiting to speak with first agent because "she hadn't notated the account." I asked her simply, "did you receive our new biometrics?" After a few minutes of checking she said no. Too difficult to become a customer. I've canceled the application and asked they confirm this. I don't expect I'll receive any confirmation. Overall bad experience...when it should have been the best experience (signing up).

I have been with them for almost 2 years, I transfer my money between them, chase, and AMX saving all the time without any problem or talking to anyone. I just so it and my money are where I wanted to be the next day. With a 4.15% return, you cannot beat it.

Have been with Bask for about 8 months. In the very begining I thought 'clearing' my deposits a bit slow, but after a few weeks all transfers in or out have happened very quickly. They have also increased the interest paid I believe 4 times to one of the highest in the U.S. No complaints at all.
Zero customer service from…
There is zero customer service from Bask Bank. I cannot verify transfer requests because I am outside the USA. A week ago I called them and was told it would be taken care of in a day. It has not been done. I have sent 3 messages to Customer Service and they have not replied. Beware!

I’ve never had such difficulty opening an account and I have multiple accounts worldwide. I’m not sure if this bank on the level or a scam. I question that when I was opening and it took me almost 3 weeks to open the account and now I’m questioning again just trying to put money into it. I don’t understand how you could be giving interest rates that you do, while providing absolutely no service. I’m very happy I checked trust pilot before pursuing this bank any further.

I have never had so much trouble applying for a savings account. Frist time I tried, they gave me a terms policy that took almost an hour to SCAN - would have taken several hours to read it thoroughly. I decided to accept the terms and hit the accept button but they had logged me out and cancelled the application for inactivity. I was NOT inactive but was constantly scrolling through the document. So, I started over from scratch, filled out the form again and they sent me a text to shoot a photo of my driver's license and my face. After several tries, I completed this step only to be told the application failed and was cancelled AGAIN!. To add insult, they said I need to call their customer service dept. But that will have to wait two days because I am doing this on Saturday. This is total BS and it is enough of a confirmation of their lack of decent service that I will not sign an account with them. I have accounts with multiple other online banks and never had this kind of frustrating trouble.
Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. Its taken weeks of calling and writing to transfer my money with no response. Can’t wait till close my account. I rather get a lower interest rate at a bank you has a little care for its customers. Stay away. You been warned!!
Bask Bank customer service is terrible.
I opened a mileage savings account. I soon realized I did not like that account so I opened a regular savings account. I forgot to fund it within 15 days. So the account was considered closed. So I called customer service to open another savings account which I was going to fund immediately. Then 4 or 5 days later I get a call from the Bank telling me I need to submit copy driver license and something else. I said you already have that information because I am an existing customer. Then I said I am just going to close my mileage account and to just send me my money. They told me to send a secure message asking to close account. It does not stop here. Then I get a message back stating I need to withdraw the funds before they can close account. Even though my message requesting to close account said send all fund in account to designated address. It is unclear to me who or what is working in “customer no service”. I feel like I am working with a 3rd grader. I just want to end my relation with Bask Bank after I get my money, and put them in my rear view mirror.

Researched Bask Bank prior to submitting online savings account application (which included every aspect of personally identifiable info including SS#) only to receive an immediate pop-up window indicating that an account could not be opened. After contacting Bask Bank (day of online application), no one, not including 2 Supervisors could explain reason for decline. On 11/30/22 a Bask Bank verification code was texted to me (original application submitted on 11/11/22). After contacting Bask about the non-requested verification code, I was told it was associated with the original account application even though a pop-up window denying the application appeared immediately after submitting the application. When asked when my personal info would be purged from their system I was told 1 year. Why is Bask Bank collecting personally identifiable information? Are they selling prospective customer information? Like other reviewers I plan to submit a complaint with supporting correspondence to the CFPB. BAD Banking practices.

Worst Customer Support - Poor Customer Relationship
My account was locked and I called the customer support to reset it. The lady was asking for my account #. I haven't made any note of my account # and I said I don't know. I asked why can't you lookup based on my account loginId. She said she can't and needed my account type and account #. I asked if any other way, she can help. She then was raising her voice and kept saying the same thing. I asked what other information, due you need to unlock my account. She said, it depends on person to person. I just said, thank you (person to person made me laugh). How come information needed to unlock an account vary from person to person. Very pathetic customer support and very pathetic system.
Remember to make a note of your account #, account type and other details (security questions) etc., otherwise you are screwed (like how I am now) and you can't enter the system (I am still figuring out what should I do). Having deposited a very very large amount, now, I am literally without any idea on how would I unlock my account (as I don't know my account #).

They lure you in with high rates but DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT set up an account with them. I requested a transfer and was was verified via a phone code. Then mysteriously the transaction was put on hold even though it was well below the maximum limit. Support via email has not responded and the phone support is a joke. No call back ever after boing placed in a queue. Was on hold for over an hour and gave up. I would cancel if I could but I can not get in touch with support. Beyond awful!!!!
