Bed was damaged and I was asked if they could send new parts and fit them don't expect to buy new bed and have to repair it

Staff engagement, with excellent knowledge of products, first class.

Don’t know about the delivery yet but the in store buying experience was first class.
The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and only gave advice where appropriate. They fully explained the delivery process and didn’t try to oversell the beds. They probably got more out of me by not being pushy.

Sales assistant was very pleasant and extremely helpful

I had a bad experience for buying mattress from benson.

Greated as we entered the store by Jamie. He was knowledgeable, allowed us to view the ranges in our own time without pressure. Advised us when we asked questions and was excellent throughout our visit. We purchased a new bed frame and mattress, and he walked us through the purchase professionally.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who made it easier to decide what to buy. A pity we have to wait 4 weeks for delivery although we were assured an earlier delivery would happen if a cancellation occurred. An earlier delivery, especially the mattress, would be most appreciated.

Great choice. Good value. Expert advice. Mike was very knowledgeable and guided us through the process.

Went into our local store with my partner knowing exactly what we wanted... 2 Tempur 'Soft' pillows.. at £149 each... but almost immediately the sales staff pounced wanting to show that they can still be helpful.
This made me want to buy elsewhere, but my partner loved the attention (as they do)... and he swayed her decision to one of each firmness.
Within an hour of getting home and opening, she suffered from buyers remorse.. and we tried returning the next morning for an exchange. Flat-out they wouldn't (due to it being considered a perishable item).. which was understandable, but nor would they swap for a display model which we'd have been happy with (given the number of public hands touching and squeezing those).
This is not a time where I enjoy her saying I was right. Spoiled the shopping experience, which is why now I'll buy in future from an online store who 'does' accept the return (or give a 30 day trial)... plenty of them out there.. which is why I'm guessing the carpark here in Truro (Cornwall) was so empty. Would have bought the mattress from here too had they showed willing and given an inch.

UPDATE: If I could remove the one star to award even less I would. After doing as instructed in the reply from Lauryn at Customer Care... I spent 22 minutes clicking the link, initiating a live chat... talking to a bot, before waiting for a real person, only to be told in a matter of seconds that 'its the company policy' so it can't be helped. An absolute waste of my time.

As such, I'd recommend anyone interested to buy online from Tempur direct... as if I 'had' done so, it turns out that they freely offer 30 days in which to return and exchange if you find it unsuitable.
No further evidence needed as to why Brick and Mortar stores are in such decline. Purchases like this are the very reason. Save yourself the traffic and parking... you'll be looked after better buying online.

The lady in the store was very helpful, Kathryn I think her name is.
Mattress appeared in perfect time. Rob & his colleague were super helpful.

The show room is a little hidden behind another department store so only went there by chance. Once inside the store there was lots of choice, the showroom was clean and smart.
Mike introduced himself but didn't seem pushy. He answered our questions thoroughly and showed us various options to suit our needs varying in price. Mike was patient and understanding and considering that we were there very late in the day he didn't rush us. We are now looking forward to the delivery of our new bed in a few weeks to suit our schedule.
A very positive experience and Mike went above and beyond to look after us. Thank you.

Lovely range of beds and great customer sevice.

I was welcomed into the store by Jamie and was asked if I needed some help.I was directed to the correct area then appreciated some time to look first before I was asked again by Jamie if I needed help.I was then given information about the products and their benefits. I was informed about ordering but not pressured into ordering. The whole experience means that when ready I will be placing the order with Jamie

Was greeted by staff, given the exact info we required and shown a handful of options in our budget. We was then left alone to talk and try the beds and look around the store. After we had another convo with our questions answered perfectly we left to have a think and chat. No pushy selling just info and space from the staff. We went in with a £500 budget for a mattress that we found the perfect one for £499.99 but we also come away with an ottoman bed, insurance plan and care kit. We was not upsold anything was just good prices and service

We went to buy four duck and down pillows we offered two choices and left having bought our choice within five minutes very happy with the quality of the pillows we bought

The salesman was very informative but not pushy. Communication throughout was excellent. The delivery drivers were very helpful. The mattress is blissful.

On entering Benson for Beds Truro I was impressed with the layout and amount of beds and furniture I was approached by a gentleman called Jamie and although I didn’t have a clue about what bed came with a headboard and what was extra he went on to show and describe these beds to me I finally picked one I liked and have since purchased this bed with the help of Kevin over the telephone as I could not make it into store and Jamie had previously printed all the details that I needed
I had been to other named bed stores in the area and tbh found them pushy and not interested
I look forward to my new bed being delivered shortly

Jamie was very helpful helping us decide on our new mattress and answered all our questions and made everything very hassle free he even carried it to the car for us
