Quick easy purchase. The delivery men were outstanding and explained how to set the bed up in great detail. They even offered us to ring if we ran into any issues and they would come back to help. Amazing service.

Staff at the store, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The bed was delivered on time and with efficiency and the old mattress removed at the same time. Then a lovely man came and built the bed same day. All went smoothly

The experience was very efficient. I purchased a bed Frame and an ex display mattress. The customer service I received in particular from Carol both in store and subsequently to arrange delivery was excellent. Looking forward to by bed arriving now. Many thanks.

From ordering to delivery all is top notch service, all team members was very helpful.

I purchased a wardrobe, set of drawers and bedside cabinet on behalf of my brother. Within weeks the drawers in both the wardrobe and set of drawers began to collapse. The door on the wardrobe also dropped. I went to the store where we purchased it the staff were very helpful and contacted their customer service dept. They sent photos and after several more visits we finally got a visit from contracted out staff. They glued the drawers but didn't fix the wardrobe. Within a few days the drawer fronts came off.
I contacted Customer services again who put me through to sub contractor dept. Many more calls to them occurred they refused to attend to make repairs. They finally said if I got a local contractor out they would pay £50 towards the repairs!
The whole issue was an absolute nightmare, Finally I gave up and will purchase more stable quality furniture from elsewhere.
The staff at Wigan Store however were very helpful.

I recently purchased a bed from your Wigan Robin Park store, and this is my first time buying from your brand. I must say, I truly love the style and comfort of the bed, and the in-store staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my shopping experience.

However, I do have a few concerns I wish to share. Since this is my first purchase, I’m not yet familiar with the quality of your products over time, and I hope the bed will remain sturdy without developing squeaks or shakes after a few months due to loose screws.

Additionally, I was surprised by the £80 fee for bed setup. In my opinion, this cost should be included in the price of the bed or covered by the company as part of the delivery service. For such an expensive product, having delivery and assembly included would make the experience feel more complete and customer-friendly.

Overall, I appreciate the service from your Wigan Robin Park team, but I hope you will consider this feedback for a better customer experience in the future.

Very helpful and well informed staff....easy to deal with

We got he mattress on the 15th May 2025.and it was a problem right from the start. It is huge and so heavy we really struggle to move it. It made the bed so high my wife had difficulty getting onto to it. When we raised this issue we were told they wanted 10% of the value (£598.99) and another £50 on top. we decided to try and soldier on. But despite being on a few months old this bed sags so badly it looks more like 10yrs old. All the initial firmness has gone and it now not comfortable at all. Bensons made no effort to deviate from their policy of a replacement costing another £100 on top of any replacement mattress cost. We are both pensioners and I'm classed as disabled but now we have had enough. We will have to get another mattress BUT NEVER AGAIN FROM BENSONS. I wouldn't recommend their products to a doss house.

We called in to Bensons for Beds as we have purchased good quality beds and mattresses from them over a number of years. Carol greeted us when we entered the shop, we told her what we were looking for and she showed us a range of beds that were suitable to the specifications that we had given her. She strongly recommended the Tempur Pro Supercool mattress as the one that closely matched our specifications and explained in detail about the features of the mattress and also demonstrated the removable mattress cover for washing. After trying out various mattresses we decided on the mattress recommended by Carol as it was the best amongst the ones that we tried.

The rest of the order process was very easy, she walked us through the invoice and explained the process of bed delivery, property details to determine access and also for the location of the bed, assembly, removal and recycling of the existing bed etc. and gave us her contact details for any further queries that we might have.

It was a very pleasant experience dealing with Carol, we came away feeling very happy with our purchase. This kind of purchase happens only once in a decade or so, thank you Carol for making our purchase experience so enjoyable!
