Big Sandy Superstore Avis 

We had a dishwasher installed (if you can call it that) on June 3,2020. The installer was a total non professional. They had to use our tools and the dishwasher is not even usable. There are 2 large dents/scratches on the stainless steel door, it is installed so crooked that the door won't even close. The bottom piece was just set in (we found 1 of the clips on the garage floor and can't find the 2nd one) and it is not screwed to the cupboard. He also mentioned cutting off the ground wire because it was too long and we found the ground screw laying on the floor. We are afraid to even use it, if we could, for fear that it is not grounded. They never asked us to inspect the installation before they left. They asked for a first name and left. I called the Miamisburg store, immediately, to report the issue. They are to be scheduling a service call. It took a week and a half to get the dishwasher, so I wonder how much longer it will be until they can come for the service call??? We also payed for the refundable warranty, so my next concern is if they will try and say that this is a warranty call. I think NOT.

The newly opened big sandy superstore in Miamisburg Ohio by the mall is the worst of my shopping experience. They have sales persons that literally sold a collection of vases to to us promising they were going to be shipped to our address but we got home only for them to call saying we should come back and pick them that they can not be shipped. Even after a week when we went out the to pick these stuff, they refused to wrap them up stating it is not their responsibility. I will strongly advise any furnishings shopper to stay away from that Rubish right by Target store in Miamisburg

I could give Big Sandy Superstore a Zero Star review I would. I purchased a matching washer and dryer set. They delivered the set to me, and when I hooked the dryer up it did not work. It did not even turn on, it was completely nonfunctional!! Got ahold of Big Sandy to request that they replace the broken dryer delivered me, and they refused!!! They said they would repair it?!?! I ordered a new dryer, therefore give me a new dryer!!! Not one that you delivered to me broken,and have to come out to repair.

You will be be better to get educated with a better much entrepreneur I can’t take you trough so much a lot cause it will be better to share great advice together

They advertise free delivery but charged me 79 dollars for delivery. This is Donna Pratt not Cathy finegod

Spent $8500 in 2 months on their website, 3 months later broken TV,(reported in December a few days after having it) still waiting on replacement, 1/2 of a table that was ordered in Jan sitting in my kitchen with parts all over it. Worst customer service ever! Will never shop there again, Filed BBB and emailed corporate offices. We'll see if anyone cares. Next stop legal and the media! Check out their BBB and other reviews - Do Not Shop at this company!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with customer service. 2 weeks later I still have not been taken care of completely. When the call they will get back to you don’t believe it and demand to stay on hold. They treated me as if my time doesn’t matter and even though I have talked to many different people from the store to corporate no one seems to care. The fact that I have talked to at least 1 person a day only 2 apologies and 1 was after I mentioned it.

Awful customer service. sectional we ordered arrived 4 weeks late. Everytime we called in, we were told someone would call us back. That never happened. i will never step foot in Big Sandys again. Reynoldsburg location

We purchased an Electrolux dryer at Big Sandy on November 27th, 2019. We purchased the warranty. The dryer stopped working on December 24th. It is now February 10 and the dryer is still not working. It has been almost 2 months without a working dryer for a family of 4. The repair man was here today and didn't fix it, so it could be a while. They do not take care of their customers.

Michelle in Big Sandy’s customer service department has no clue how to provide decent customer service. She didn’t apologize for Big Sandy dropping the ball, she talked over me - argued with me!! - and she wouldn’t be quiet and listen to me. Horrible, rude, obnoxious 20-something. This girl needs some heavy lessons in good customer service because she is seriously lacking people skills.

Fun how you can't pick 0 stars there service total sucks the number 1 problem with the dryer is the belt so you would think they have it on service truck. But no. Even Google says it. Electrolux dryer known for belt breaking but serious after 6 mos. What a piece of crap.

Furniture is cheap made, service techs are terrible and have an attitude, contacted the home office and that was a joke. Now we have 2 identical couches that are 2 months old and have the same problems, service techs have been here 3 times in 2 months and still not fixed. Never again!!!!

What an awful experience so far! The sales staff are great. The staff in the warehouse/pickup are awful. I felt like we were on a hidden camera show. Cannot believe it. So, we were supposed to pick up our order on the 19th. Drove all the way there and was told “oh uh we must’ve given the fireplace away”. No apology or anything! Then, around the corner comes a man with a fireplace from out of nowhere not even in a box. He started to load it up in our vehicle. I said “Whoa, wait!” He said “uh yeah um my manager said to just give this to you”. I said “that’s not even the right one!” He said “yeah well my manager said to just give it to you so, here you go”
Are you kidding me?! NO! We went back in and I’m in such disbelief waiting for a hidden camera to pop out. I told them I could not believe the night and day difference between inside the store and the pick up area. The girl at the desk replied with “yes, we know, we are trying to get it cleaned up out there”
They offered to deliver it the following week. We said OK. The whole time we just knew it would not be correct and wondered what would go wrong this time. There is no way this could be right. So, today is delivery day. Now mind you, we corrected our address before we left that day. We get a text message saying they are on their way with the old address listed. We called and they assured us That the address was updated in their system and they had the correct address but it just was not through their text system. They also assured us that the general manager checked to be sure the order was correct and it was indeed correct. They never showed up. They dropped off the fireplace at the old address! And without the entertainment stand! They said they don’t know where it went!
This place is a complete joke.

Do NOT waste your time. I wish we would have read the reviews before wasting time on them.

So now we wait. Again.

If I could give this store ZERO stars, I certainly would. To start, upon the initial delivery, half of the items to be delivered were broken & were not even brought off the truck. The second delivery was then scheduled for a WEEK LATER, bear in mind this is in a brand new home. The delivery was then delayed another several days. A text message alerted me that my delivery was then to be believed a day earlier & the delivery guy indicated it was for a PICK UP!!!! How can you run an organization this way? Poor customer service, poor all around . I deeply regret anything from this organization & will NEVER purchase anything from this organization again. My couch was purchased from Coconis, just down the road & clearly we should have purchased all the other items there too. Worst purchasing experience I have had in my entire life.

I came in search of a washer and dryer since my family is moving into our first home. I had been referred by a friend to talk to John Price because he was amazing and had helped her with her recent purchase. I have to say I was absolutely blown away by how awesome John’s customer service was with my needs and questions. He was able to answer every question my husband and I had down to precise measurements and use of appliances. Not only did I end up purchasing a washer and dryer, but also a full kitchen appliance package! I am so beyond happy with Big Sandy and John!! Thank you for being patient with me and all my questions and for staying late to help me and my needs!

Bought a 75" TV, it was frozen when it arrived so let it sit several days before unboxing and plugging in. Once we did, we found there was a crack in the screen and it did not work. Notified the store, a week later they finally got back to me only to say they would not replace it, that we must have broke it. Would not cover it under the warranty either. Now I have upset kids that can't watch their big TV that they were so excited about getting. Not a happy customer and will never buy from them again!

I purchased a recliner for my husbands' retirement June 25th, 2017, over two years ago. I also purchase the total care protection plan because I know he is hard on his recliners. Last week we noticed a weak spot on the left arm rest. I called and was quickly put on the schedule for this week. The technician came this afternoon, within the 3 hour window that I was given. The technician was fantastic. Polite, personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. He was also able to carry on a very interesting and pleasant conversation with my husband who was having a rough day, all the while he kept working on the chair. He had it fixed within and hour. Based on his attitude and service I have decided that Big Sandy is the only furniture store I need to use! Ever. And I will highly recommend to my daughters and friends.The techs' name was Mel Brooks, and the work order # was 183277.

we have had the best salespeople....and nice service people....but i am fed up with the extended service plan! we purchased an LG dishwasher in october 2017 and had it delivered january 2018-it has malfuntioned 4 times now! each time requires 2 visits from the service people - how many times does this have to happen before it is deemed unfixable and just replace with a new one? one service fella even said this particular dishwasher has had multiple problems?? i am over it! it seems that we are going to keep going this route (approximately every 6 months with a repair) until our warranty plan runs out and then we will be forced to buy a new dishwasher? i sent a video of what the dishwasher was doing to the service department tuesday (12-3-19) and i have heard nothing! why? ugh! this isn't how to get repeat customers!!

I bought a washer, dryer and fridge on 11/01/19. Washer works great. Dryer still don’t work the service man got here on 11/19/19. The blower is out. It has not even done one load yet. This is now the 20th and they can’t even tell me when the part will be in. The fridge did not come with screws for the handle. I called and they told me I would have to pay for them because I did not order them before 7 days from delivery date. My kitchen was not finished until 10 days later. The contractor did not set it until then. $2724.17 and I have to pay extra for all the parts. I still can’t even do laundry. Again don’t wast your money. Update. 12/5. Still don’t have part

We had a GREAT experience at the Big Sandy Superstore located on Polaris Parkway! My husband and I have been looking for a new mattress for our bed and went to the mattress stores in the area and just weren’t finding anything we liked and weren’t impressed with the sales pitch we were given store after store. Driving toward the mall, we happened to see the Bog Sandy Superstore and thought we would stop in on the off chance that they might have some mattresses. We were right away impressed with the wide selection of mattresses that we came across and how helpful all the information presented at each bed was for us to read over. We were approached by a salesman, Tom, and he asked what we were looking for and how he could help but then actually let us continue searching and try out the different beds without hounding us with the usual sale pitch we had encountered at every other mattress store. When we had a question, Tom was right there to answer and researched any and all information we needed and was extremely friendly and helpful! We found the bed we wanted for the right price and couldn’t be happier! Tom did a wonderful job helping us find exactly what we needed! We will definitely be going back and refer our friends and family as well!!
