The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. Add a bunch of adrenalin and big sprinkle of fun and you are pretty much there. BikePark Wales is an exhilarating way to spend your day in the Welsh mountains.

Me and my best friend went for a ride at BikePark Wales today, and we had an amazing time!
Five stars 💯 for the trailer uplift service — it made getting to all the trails we wanted to ride quick and easy. Great experience from start to finish!
There’s only one thing I’d suggest, and I’m sure a lot of riders would agree: during the summer, it would be brilliant if the uplift ran later than 4pm — ideally until at least 6pm. Longer summer days mean more time for riding! 🚵♂️🔥
It would also be great if the restaurant and bar stayed open in line with the uplift hours, so after finishing the last trails, riders could grab some food and a well-deserved drink. 🍔🍻
Thanks again, BikePark Wales, for a brilliant day and experience. We’ll definitely be back! 💯🚵♂️🤘

The suggestion of extending uplift hours during the summer is one we hear from time to time, and we can certainly understand the appeal of squeezing a few more laps into those long summer evenings 😎☀️
You may be interested to know that we do run a number of Evening Uplift Sessions throughout the summer months to make the most of the longer days. Unfortunately, the final evening session of this season has now passed, but they're always extremely popular when they come around.
As for relaxing afterwards, our café remains open until 6pm on summer weekends, giving riders the chance to grab some food, enjoy a beer or two, and soak up the evening sunshine after the uplift has finished ☀️
For now, we're pleased to hear the uplift service helped you make the most of the day and that you'll be coming back for more.

The trails, everyone knows they are awesome. But it’s the staff that make it. The greeters, traffic, cafe, bike shop EVERYONE is awesome and happy and super helpful. Love this place !

Thanks also for the feedback regarding the bike wash. We appreciate the point, although it's worth noting that the bike wash isn't simply a hosepipe and some water. There are ongoing operating costs associated with the facility, including water, electricity, drainage, maintenance and servicing of the equipment.
With that in mind, we feel that the 50p charge represents a very reasonable contribution towards keeping the bike wash available and operational for riders to use.
That said, we appreciate the feedback and are really pleased you had such a great experience overall.

2adults, 2 12 year old girls… all beginners… we loved it
As a family of beginners, we had a fantastic day. All the staff were so friendly; from patiently getting us kitted up, making sure that all our pads fitted properly and that our children were comfortable to assisting us when it came to putting our bikes on the uplift trailer. What I appreciated was that there was no patronising or eye-rolling that we were beginners but a genuine desire to teach us and help us enjoy the day. We mainly stayed on Kermit all day which we loved as it felt challenging enough to test us but rewarding as we got faster each time, plus we had the run to ourselves most of the time which felt great not to have to worry about other riders. 2 of us progressed onto a blue ride which they also loved. At the end, my daughter said “can we make coming here ax regular thing?” So high praise indeed. Thank you. It was fab!

Well maintained trails and no delays on the uplift.
Only reason for 4/5 stars was my boy came off and needed very minor first aid. When he was directed to the first aid centre it was closed. The rest of the day was spend cycling round trying to protect his cuts with tissue. First aid should have better priority given the sport we’re all doing.

Our First Aid provision is available throughout operating hours, however there are occasions when medics may be responding to incidents elsewhere on the mountain. It's possible this was the case when your son arrived at the First Aid centre, but we'd certainly like to understand more about what happened as the experience you've described isn't what we'd expect.

Traumhafte episch lange und top gepflegte Trails in einer wunderschönen Landschaft! Alle Schwierigkeitsgrade sind am Einstieg gut zu erkennen und auch unterwegs auf dem Trails sind Warnschilder. Man fühlt sich also sehr gut informiert. Auch der Plan ist übersichtlich und top unterteilt. Der Transport mit den Bussen funktioniert reibungslos ohne große Wartezeiten. Das Informationszentrum des Bikeparks ist sehr funktionell und super schön gestaltet. Verpflegung ist möglich, schmeckt sehr gut, chillige Atmosphäre durch gute Musik, alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es hat uns mega gut gefallen, da es für uns alle und alle Könnensstufen tolle Abfahrten gab. Wir kommen wieder!!!

The trails are all great
The trails are all great, the park is amazing, the facilities are great, the shop is great. Staff are great.
The actual uplift itself makes me sad.. I feel like I only get 4-6 uplifts in a day when I'm in a group. The ride to the lift back to the van to the shop back to lift wastes more time than the actual riding. An ebike helps but back when I didn't it's dam chore 😅
I think you get my drift.

As for the uplift... unfortunately we can't do much about the fact that the summit drop off is at the top of the mountain and the visitor centre is at the bottom! 😂
We absolutely understand that riding in a group can sometimes mean fewer laps than you'd manage riding solo, especially when lunch stops, uplift queues, café visits and regrouping are involved. The good news is that it sounds like you'll just have to keep coming back for the laps you missed 👊😎

just as good the second time
Our second visit to BPW was just as good as our first. The staff were all enthusiastic and helpful and the queues for the uplift (which we knew would be substantial on a Sunday) moved quickly. Due to the wild fire burning right on the edge of the park there was extra activity so contain the spread, but this was really well managed and didn't impact on the uplift service. It was great to ride trails that have gone in new since our last visit, and really enjoyed the progressive availability, riding everything from blue to black on this trip. Can't wait to come back

The staff are lovely and the runs are great
The staff are lovely and the runs are from beginner to experts. There is a good mix of tec and flow. There is a run for everyone. I did get a puncture and the workshop on site threw in a new tube for me in less than 10 minutes so I was straight back out. Thank You.

So I visited here when the bike park…
So I visited here when the bike park was fairly new, rode for maybe a year or 2 it was fun!. Fast forward 12 years of not riding a recent new bike and went with my 11 year old on a big and little ones offer! My son is hooked on it and been asking to go for ages. I always made an excuse as thought it would be to expensive for the 2 of us . The offer was a fantastic price to start with !!so thank you 🙏 wow it’s changed over the years it’s massive, the check in staff were friendly, loads of new buildings about really looks quite modern. Uplift staff were great friendly showed us how to get the bikes on securely and cracking jokes with us . They showed no signs of impatience even though they are probably tasked daily with newcomers asking the same questions. We managed 4/5 runs and I was cooked by the end ! The car parks were super full yet there was 0 waiting for uplift and never saw anyone on the trails, testimony to the efficiency of the uplift crew, trail builders and staff and how vast it was. It was an amazing day . My only downside was my son left his spine protector there on a table just before we headed back , saved up all his money for it , Unfortunately it wasn’t handed in . Our fault maybe it will show in a few days
Food was great also I like the fact it’s announced over a mic 🎤 so you can sit outside and enjoy the sun whilst waiting. It really is a fantastic place

Loved it - BPW was brilliant fun for me and my 3 boys. One suggestion is to try and make the trails finish at the same point or close to. Bring the uplift entrance further down the hill as the walk up really takes it out of you. The best trail for me was Terry's Belly but the finish is too far down - I had to walk my bike and my son's bike to the top to get to the visitor centre. Can you have an option for it to finish closer to the visitor centre or Uplifts. At what point does the cost of running busses make it cheaper to install a cable lift to the top? All constructive feedback I hope. Staff are lovely to top it off.

Terry's Belly is a classic favourite, although we can certainly appreciate your point about the extra pedal back towards the visitor centre afterwards.
The beauty of having such a large trail network is that we can offer lots of different trail experiences and destinations across the mountain, although it does occasionally mean a little extra effort between runs.
