The Birders Store has been outstanding throughout the hard times we are facing. I purchased a Spotting scope to find out it wasn't matching my expectations. Brian and the team dealt with my refund with much more customer service than expected. Going the extra mile. Spotting scope
This will be a brief review.
I was looking for a reliable spotting scope.
I stumbled upon this store by chance.
the price was very reasonable, delivery from UK to Croatia fast and reasonable priced.
The product was professionally packaged which is very commendable as it contains sensitive optics.
From the store I got what I want — professional service for my money.
I will definitely be ordering more.

How customer service used to be
I tried all the big stores to ask specific questions about some Zeiss binoculars where the manufacturers had different specs - some made in Japan, some made in China. I was getting nowhere until I spoke to The Birders Store. It was incredibly refreshing to speak to someone who was not just after a quick and easy sale but was willing to look at stock, check details and actually knew what I was talking about.
I had forgotten what good, specialist service was. Birders store reminded me.

Travelled from London to visit here as…
Travelled from London to visit here as there is no shop like this anywhere in the capital. I paid £45 for the train ticket & it was worth every pound. The staff was as helpful in person as he was on the phone. He was happy to let me try many scopes outside the shop, with & without a tripod so I could compare each scope with the binocs I already have. I left there a very happy customer with a brilliant scope. Why can't all shops be like this.

As a total novice when it comes to phone scoping
As a total novice when it comes to phone scoping, I rang to find out which adapter would best suit my telescopes. Bev looked after me fantastically, responding quickly to each of my, probably inane, questions.
Brian too became involved in the discussions, in Bev's absence and finally I was recommended an adapter at half the price of the one I had originally intended to buy.
Now that is customer care!
