I recently purchased two pairs of shoes in my local store in the Isle of Wight and to help me with the cost the staff listed ALL the companies which enable a discount seeing me save £40! Very helpful, very friendly.

I’ve got back into wild camping
I’ve got back into wild camping, but of course I needed lots of new gear. We have a small shop on the Idle of Wight, and they still manage to stock the good stuff like Osprey and Rab. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I love the fact you can have a chit chat with the staff too. Love Blacks! 😊

Due to a very wet wedding day ahead as photographer, I realised I needed a good waterproof jacket. The store had exactly what I needed, and price matched the online price. Fay and Sue were brilliant, I’ll be going back purely down to their service!

Excellent service
Was greeted by an enthusiastic female member of staff who directed me upstairs where there was a good selection of walking boots, i was then further assisted by ollie who happily helped me find and purchase a new pair of boots. Terrific service will be back!!

I was returning a pair of shoes on one of which the seam was coming undone. I was met with courtesy and warmth. Even though the shoes were just over 1 year old I was immediately offered a replacement pair. (the old ones had only been lightly worn). I showed the receipt from the original purchase. Well done Blacks and Fay who served me. I will be shopping at Blacks in the future whenever I can

Great Service.
Sue was a great help to me in choosing a new Rucksack, she advised me on a couple of products i was interested in and then i made my purchase.
This is a great shop to have on the island and all staff are always happy to help you out.
