Barton Grange Garden Centre
Barton Grange Garden Centre - Mark Kitchen
I bought some garden furniture last year and unfortunately noticed that one of the side panels had failed. After contacting Barton Grange Garden Centre and speaking with Mark Kitchen, I was told that I was just one day outside of the warranty period.
However, Mark was absolutely brilliant. He contacted the manufacturer on my behalf and arranged for a replacement side panel to be sent out to me. Throughout the whole process, he kept in touch regularly, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better customer service.
Huge thanks to Mark for all his help — it was very much appreciated. I will definitely be buying from Barton Grange again.

We went to the Huntingdon Blue Diamond…
We went to the Huntingdon Blue Diamond garden center, and we brought a vintage style green Arch for the garden. The lady was very helpful, contacted Gary, who had it in stock, brought it out for us to see, then the lady spoke to Richard, who very kindly put it in his Land-rover, then delivered it to us within 2 hours. The three of them, were so very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and friendly, wish all the staff were like them, They need to be told of how much we appreciated them., and the extra mile they went within their job. Thank you guys.

We always love a visit to Beckworth
We really enjoyed our visit to Beckworth recently. We had a wander around the food store before purchasing some items. We then wandered and shopped the garden section before stopping for a tea break in the restaurant. We had Nici as our waitress and she was polite and friendly and very pleasant at all times. The food was delicious and we were not rushed or pestered throughout the time.
We wanted to highlight Nici as she stood out with her friendly demeanour and kind manner.
We finished off our trip with some clothes shopping with my birthday vouchers.
We will be back again soon.

My favorite garden centre
My favorite garden centre. There is so much to see. It’s not just about the garden. I often buy gifts here as a wide selection of quality products. Also there are clothes, shoes and accessories to choose from. I always finish with a delicious late lunch. There is a good choice of food too.

Brilliant garden centre. You'd think that because it's called Percy Thrower it would be expensive but it's not. The fish section is amazing and huge lovely fish and knowledgeable staff. Well done

A great place for plants and food.
Great selection of plants, pots, gardening tools, equipment & accessories. The restaurant serves delicious hot meals, light meals, salads, sandwiches & cakes. As well as hot drinks and cold drinks.

A Lovely Afternoon at Barton Grange
We had such a pleasant visit to our local garden centre Barton Grange. The plants we chose were all lovely bright, and fresh- clearly very well cared for.
The staff were incredibly helpful, taking the time to assist me in finding the plants I had in mind and offering knowledgeable advice when I had questions.
We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant, which was excellent. The food was top quality and reasonably priced.
All in all, it was truly a lovely afternoon out. We’ll definitely be returning!

Wonderful!
This is a really lovely garden centre. It's light, bright and welcoming. There is a large selection of plants, all looking very healthy and reasonably priced. And then there's garden furniture, home wares, clothes and accessories and much, much more!
There are two restaurants on site, Origins Pâtisserie serving mainly drinks and cakes and then The Parlour restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch with a wide, varied menu, all cooked freshly to order. We had ciabatta, flatbread, and homemade cakes, all absolutely delicious!
All of the staff are friendly and helpful here too. All in all, a perfect day out.

The staff at Blue Diamond Cardiff
The staff at Blue Diamond Cardiff are great but would particularly like to mention Louise in the house plants department. She always says hello and my dogs do make a beeline for her. On our last visit one of my dogs was unwell and I felt really embarrassed even though the dog could not help it. Louise went straight off to get cleaning products and I picked up the sick while she disinfected the floor. Thank you Louise your help was much appreciated.

Unexpected customer service
I am updating my original review after a communication from BD Head Office. My review has been amended from 2 to 5 stars because I received an apology for the initial communications along with a promised gift voucher. My initial disappointment was not about obtaining a refund but rather the cavalier approach to customer service after explaining the position fully and with the evidence to back it up. Being initially dismissed in this way suggested expected great customer care had gone out the window. My faith in BD has now been restored.
nitially I was told that alpine plants sold in Autumn were not expected to last through winter and as a customer I should have taken cuttings. My point is I kept the plants frost free over winter and why should I be expected to have taken cuttings when the alpines were sold as fully developed plants. I sent photos of the alpines and a full explanation.
ORIGINAL COMMENT BELOW;
I have always found Blue Diamond Garden Centres to offer good quality plants and a wide variety to choose from. I have never had cause to contact their customer care until now and I am both surprised and disappointed that they failed to offer reimbursment of £10 for 3 potted alpine plants that have died despite being kept frost free over winter. I would have expected a goodwill gesture that could have gone a long way to avoid denting my faith in Blue Diamond.
