Barton Grange Garden centre
We visit Barton Grange Garden Centre on a weekly basis for lunch, we travel1 hour. We love this place, the food is excellent and the staff are second to non, they are professional, Organised and very friendly.
The garden centre as so much choice and at a reasonable price, the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The new addition to Barton Grange is the clothes department, which is great, lots of choice

Lovely place to visit. Had food in the restaurant which was very nice indeed. Bought a few items which were reasonably priced. Would visit again when we're in the area.

I can understand the que being summer.
I can understand the que being summer.
The prices were stupid £11 for a baked potato when the average price is £6/8.
£7.50 for a quiche the size of a small saucer. Sausage roll was four inches maximum. Nothing was value for money.
I wouldn't recommend it to eat at.
Even the pot of tea for two and a latte coffee was overpriced.
The plants however were the only good thing about it.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, there is a huge choice of bedding/pot plants and shrubs plus a lovely indoor shopping area and restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Very nice garden centre, and the quality of products is so high.
Staff are very friendly too, and on my first visit I signed up to their Blue Diamond card scheme.

Avoid Gift Vouchers
Ordered a voucher online, a payment receipt came through immediately but not the voucher. Not in inbox or junk folder. It was on Saturday morning, cannot get hold of anyone as the offices are closed over the weekend. Now have nothing to give other than an IOU tomorrow, having paid for a product that said it would be sent via email straight away. Not impressed at all.
UPDATE - Very quick to reply to a negative review on Trustpilot, yet still aren't answering their phone lines, replying to my email or issuing the voucher I ordered online for 'immediate delivery' 2.5 days ago!!!

Normally, E-Vouchers are generated and emailed immediately after an order has been placed, so it is very unusual to hear that you received your payment confirmation but not the E-voucher itself.
I am also sorry that you were unable to reach anyone over the weekend. However, there are several ways for our customers to reach us for support, including through our “Contact Us” page on the website, where enquiries can be submitted directly to our customer service team.
I sincerely apologise again for the inconvenience caused.

We visited to buy some solar post lights and ended up buying a chair too. The staff were really helpful and friendly. So a big thank you to Sian, Vicki & Sarah. They even brought the chair to our car and helped us load it in!

Yarnton restaurant in garden centre - £9 for a jacket potato that came with a salad with dressing. When I asked for no dressing they simply washed the salad that was on the plate - avoid !!

Birthday lunch.
Excellent food. Great service from friendly and helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere. There was something on the menu to suit all tastes and dietary requirements and allergies were catered for. There were also a delicious array of puddings and cakes to choose from.
We had a lovely birthday lunch and we look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic Garden centre
Staff are very Knowledgeable. Plants look really good quality and well cared for unlike most plant retailers. The staff are attentive to your requirements and plants are reasonably priced and cheaper than my local garden centre. Most garden centres these days sell cheap dead plants and only want you to buy food in an overpriced cafe not the case here keep up the good work

Waiting far to long for service.Chatting Staff.
Little Eaton ( Derby Garden Centre)
The garden centre is great , excellent choice of plants etc ,but is let down by the Rude Chatting Restaurant serving staff , Was asked to find a table ,20 minute,s later was still waiting to place my order , on approaching the staff I was " told someone will be along in a minute,"5 mins later someone did arrive, placed my order, paided , still waiting for awhile for my food ,Which I pointed out was now cold and the tea luke warm , So waited again for that to be sorted. I was sat on table 6 ,the people on table 8 and 10 got up and left due to waiting for so long. And the cafe was not even busy. Not sure what's happening but the staff do like to Chat or do other jobs instead of looking after the customer.Would be 5 stars but let down by waiting staff.
