Ordered boots online because the store didn’t carry narrow men’s boots. I ordered 11B boots, they arrived in a box marked 11B but the boots were actually 11D, too wide for me.
I took the boots into the local store and was told that Boot Barn never sells narrow boots. The store manager didn’t know what narrow means in a boot, she kept asking me if I needed a wide boot. Now why would Boot Barn offer B sizes on line and go to the trouble of printing B size boxes? Makes no sense at all. Better yet why would you be expected to pay $300 for boots that don’t fit?

Es wurden 2 Paar Schuhe bestellt, eines kam auch richtig an beim anderen Parr wurde leider ein normal Soft Toe gesandt onwohl ganz klar ein Sicherheitsschuh bestellt und bezahlt wurde.

My experience with warehouse was poor
My experience with warehouse was poor. Went to Champaign in March looking for boots for a wedding. They didn't have the size we needed, so they were very helpful and ordered them. When we received them, the toes were scuffed. Called customer service and we were issued a card to reorder. Ordered a second time, and they came scuffed again. After receiving a credit again, we were scared to order from warehouse. Got on the phone and after calling 2 stores we found the size needed in Plainfield. We told them the problem we had. They pulled the size we needed and gave us a discount. I have no problem with the employees and stores it's the warehouse you need to beware of. I really think they sent us the same pair of boots twice. This whole process started in March and ended in May.

Paid 209.99+taxes and fees to purchases a pair of boots just to get the used display version of the boots. Obvious wear and tear on the leather and bottoms of the shoe. In no way shape or form should this shoe be sent out, especially at that price. It’s neglectful on their end and not a good way to go about business.

My delivery experience with boot barn was fantastic. I got a great deal on my boots and they shipped across borders without charging customs. No surprises. They arrived in 3 days. I would recommend boot barn any day, a gem for authentic western brands.

I bought a pair of Ariat boots. When trying on the boots they seemed a little tight and i bought a wide in the boots. I asked the sales lady, what type warranty do they have for a break in period. I ask every place the same question as all boots are different. Every place says 30 day return if they don’t fit, adjust or just not satisfied. The lady said 30 days. I asked again so if i wear them for 20 days and they don’t break in or anything i can bring them back. Yes sir! Thank you so I bought them for $250 plus tax. After 2 weeks they was worse than when i bought them and just got worse walking in them. I go to return them and they say. Its 30 day if tags on them and new still. How the heck can you try boots and try them working and keep them new. If they would have said that when i asked , i would have walked out and never bought them. Worst mistake ever. They know when asked especially when asked if i work in them and dont like them. Im not asking to wear them around my house to try them for looks. Never again will i buy from their or buy Ariat boots either . Customer service is just as bad. Well it says on the receipt have to keep them new. Why should i look at the bottom of the receipt when i literally asked the sales people. Should they not know what they are doing and selling. They knew soon as i walked in what to say!!!
Another big, impersonal corporation.
Bootbarn is an impersonal, inept, greedy corporation. The employees in the store can be nice, but the overlords are the typical corporate, removed business types with no human face. After ordering a pair of boots online that were affordable and I needed for a fundraiser event for a local public school, my boots came and were, unbelievably, brown instead of black. How do you screw up such a basic thing, Boot Barn? Turns out no black pairs were anywhere in any store so they just charged me anyway, shipped the brown ones and maybe hoped I wouldn't notice. With zero concern I was now in a time constraint due to their screwup, Boot Barn refused to do anything other than refund the boots. No ownership of their error, or in inconveniencing the customer, no pride in their service, no honor. They wouldn't even give me a discount on another pair of black boots in their store, and they were all 2-4 times the cost of the pair I bought online. The store manager nicely offered a 10% discount, but that obviously wasn't going to do much. Bottom line- the operators of Boot Barn are greedy, impersonal, and could care less about their customers. If you're not a shareholder, they'd rather just give you the boot in your own barn. Avoid it and support the smaller chains and mom and pop stores. Boot Barn has lost me for good. Oh... and all the reviews on their own site are mostly cherry-picked to make it look like they're just the best ever. It's a smokescreen.

Terrible online experience
I purchased items online and when I hit the purchase button it came back and said declined, but the money was removed from my account.
I called Boot Barn they said they would fix the issue and the problem still isn’t resolved. I checked my account again and I noticed 14 separate charges from Boot Barn on my card. I’ve never received a confirmation email for my order even after speaking to a manager. I’ve spent 3 hours trying to get this problem fixed and still nothing. I feel completely ripped off and will never put my credit card on Boot Barns website again. I’ve been charged about $580 dollars.
Bought a hat in Nashville
Bought a hat in Nashville, noticed a blemish on the hat when I got it out the box in Philadelphia. Took it to the store in New Jersey for them to look at it. They tried to clean it but made it worst. They offered to replace the hat but had none in stock. Wouldn’t refund us what we had paid because they didn’t give us a receipt in Nashville. The store in Nashville on 3rd said they would email us the receipt but they didn’t. Because we where flying home to the U.K. on the day we was in New Jersey we had to accept a gift card with less money on it than what we had paid. We can’t use the gift card online , so we have to wait until we go back to the USA to be able to spend the $250 on the card. The boots we also bought had holes in where a string had been put through even though the order was made in the USA online website for pick up in Nashville. The Nashville store also attempted to take payment twice on the online site with my credit card but it wouldn’t go through, eventually the payment went through on another credit card. The problem caused by them not voiding the attempted payments left us without over $1500 available to us while on holiday. The customer service from this company is non existent
Failed to deliver what I paid for.
I purchased a quite a few things from Boot Barn with 48 hr delivery on line. This was six weeks ago and I still don't have my order. This is unexceptable for a company to not deliver what a customer paid for. Extremely disappointed and will never order from this company again.
Horrible service
Took nearly a week and a half to get the hat to the store. I get there and they hand me a box that looks like something a homeless person dug out of a dumpster. I open the box to find a hat that looks like someone used the box to sit on while they had lunch! I open it to find a hat crushed beyond straightening. No possibility of replacement due to unusual size and time constraints. Then they send me a receipt that says I "requested" a refund... not a good experience at all.
Customer service is awful
Well we should have read the reviews for this company. We bought a pair of boots for my husband for work. He wore them 6 times on the house that he was framing. They completely came apart at the toe. We didn’t try to take them back but we did let them know that the quality was poor. We chose a different brand of boots for the next pair we bought. The same thing happened in less wears. This time we took them back but they would not do anything. Then I purchased a third pair for my husband and mistakenly got the wrong size. Even though the tag was on, they said they couldn’t return them because he told them he tried them on and they were too small. They said they had to be unworn (crazy that you can’t even try on the boot at home but you can try in the store?). Fast forward to the fourth pair we have bought in now a 6 month time frame. I bought them as a Christmas gift for my husband. I bought a different brand and he didn’t like the fit. We went to take them back and exchange them, but because it had been passed 30 days (website says 60?) they said they couldn’t do anything and proceeded to belittle my husband. The damage has been done and I’ll never shop here again.
They dont stand behind faulty product. They don’t adhere to their own policies on their website. They treat customers like they are less than when a lot of their customers are local business owners that will spread the word to other contractors.
Never shop here and don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!!!
