Claire, thank you so much for the kind words! Fast delivery and quality craftsmanship are exactly what we obsess over, so I'm really glad the kit landed well.

You raise a really valid point about the timing. Just to explain our thinking: we actually designed the recipe to work with everyday ingredients most people already have at home, so once you have the mix, you can make bubble potion again and again for pennies, unlimited refills without ever ordering from us. It's honestly the most sustainable and cost-effective way to enjoy bubble poi long-term, but I completely hear you that waiting 48hrs for the first session isn't ideal.

Good news: we're actively working on adding an optional pre-mixed potion bundle at checkout, so future customers can choose between the DIY route (best long-term value) or the ready-to-spin route (instant first session). Your feedback is pushing us to prioritize it.

Hi Helene, Geoffrey here, co-founder of Bubble Poi. Thank you for the honest feedback, and I'm sorry the construction didn't match what you expected.

You're right that we use industrial-grade nylon ties to attach the rings to the body of the poi. This is intentional: we tested a dozen alternatives (metal clips, sewn loops, glued joints, welded plastic) and nylon ties were by far the strongest, safest and longest-lasting solution for the tension bubble poi generate when spinning at full speed. They hold hundreds of pounds of pull without failing, they don't rust, and they're easy to replace at home if ever needed. Every poi kit in the flow arts community uses similar attachment methods for the same reasons.

That said, we'll take your feedback and make the construction even more visible on our product page so future customers know exactly what they're getting.

And beyond the ties, I really hope you get a chance to give the poi a proper spin. Once you follow our video tutorials and get your first massive bubble trails flowing through the air, I think you'll fall in love with the practice. Our customers around the world are creating truly magical moments with these kits, and I'd love for you to experience that too. We're a small team and every customer matters to us!
