I lived in the U.S. for a long time in bear country. Buck makes a real knive equal to none. I can now get a real knive through their authorized U.K. supplier. I use them in my kitchen.

Would have been 5 stars but my knife came with some marks on the pommel, they will likely polish out but I would have expected a new knife to not have any marks on it.

Good knife gets razor sharp. The finish on the handle has a defect I would return it for another one if I could be bothered with the hassle

I purchased my first Buck Knife, a 119 special pro, nearly 30 years ago. It is still going strong and has seen a lot of use. I have now just received my order of a 119 special phenolic, with an engraved blade, for my son who like me is a lover of the outdoor life.
My knife has kept an amazing edge for nearly 30 years and even after heavy use sharpens like a dream.
It was for me the perfect choice to buy my son a Buck for his first knife.

I had a query regarding which product would suit my needs best, their chat agent took time to go through options and check out product features on my behalf.

When my voucher didn't initially work, a quick email got that resolved.

I ordered with express delivery and had my order 2 days later. No issues at all.

It's worth noting that you have to do a (free) online age-verification after checkout (very sensible - and much better than many online stores that require an in-person pick-up, which totally defeats the point of an online order). I used my drivers license (you can also use a bank card or other methods), and it was done in less than a minute.

Always fancied a 110 so I thought it was time to get one. I use knives on a daily basis as a gamekeeper and deer stalker. I have cheep (Mora) and a couple of hand made knives. The service from Buck was excellent and the knife was of even better quality than expected. It is also the sharpest out of the box knife I’ve ever seen, in fact sharper than I am able to get with my other knives. Nice bit of kit
