Busaba Eathai Avis 

We went to Busaba this evening in Wardour Street London. The food was very disappointing. The Aubergine curry was synthetic tasting. The black pepper beef dish was dry with very little beef. The Green Curry Jay was bland with very few vegetables.

Had eaten at Busaba for many years but hadn’t been here since just before lockdown. After catching a theatre matinee, we decided to stop in for our favour dishes before heading home. I have no idea what’s happened to this restaurant but my first stop was a bathroom break before ordering food - the toilets were absolutely disgusting (they used to be spotless) and it’s worth pointing out that the kitchen is located downstairs in the basement right next door to them, where food has to pass the sinks and another door as the food lift in the bar upstairs is out of order (if people don’t wash their hands, your food will pass through that door as the staff have to open it to get out). They’ve also put out bright blue cleaning fluid in the handwash bottles instead of hand soap. Now for the food: the calamari was soggy, chewy and tasted nothing like the crunchy deliciousness I had come to look forward to, and they used the worst quality sirloin steak (tough, chewy, over seasoned with black pepper - I had to use a knife & fork to cut the slices into bite size pieces instead of using my chopsticks) with a mouth-burning dip on the side that tasted nothing like the tender steak they used to serve (£22 a pop I’d add!). Also noted that the as we walked in they didn’t even use the same incense sticks (anyone who knows Busaba knows that famous, gorgeous smell as you walk in). I can’t believe I’m writing this but I’m praying we don’t have food poisoning after that meal and sadly Busaba is now a no-no for us which is tragic as it was our favourite place for an impromptu dish when in Soho :-(

I'm the oldest Busaba customer,and I'm a big fan of Busaba restaurant.After long time, I went in boxing day 26th December.I ordered my regular dish Chili Prawn Pried Rice but the Rice portion was very big compare to original and tasteless,the iconic dish Calamari was soggy and not crunchy, also the Calamari sauce was missing. Even the portion was smaller than past. Soon as food came on the table, I know this was not Busaba food,taste nothing like original Busaba. Then I realised the ownership has been changed. How I know? I saw the Busaba Logo has been changed.I spent just under £100 and I don't know how to get my money back.The worse food I ever had.

RIPOFF!!I got 3 chili prawns for £17. I ordered chili prawn as I have done many times from Busaba Kingston. I ordered 2 portions paid £34 and only got 3 prawns in one and 5 in the other. I can live with 5. When I called the resto the lady was totally unhelpful and said portions are served that way. NEVER AGAIN!

I have been going to Busaba since 1999. I loved the place on Wardour street. Prices were okish but food was amazing, so made it so worth it. My latest trip left me very very disappointed. Food lacked its previous taste, the portions were smaller and the prices were higher. I left still hungry after spending quite a bit of money. It's an absolute shame but I won't be going back again.

Green Curry (vegetarian option), really poor, insipid, weird green coloured sauce that bore little resemblance to anything I have had under the same description elsewhere (multiple comparables), no trace of chilli. Very expensive. Will not be going back. Rest of the meal was fine and service friendly and attentive

What can I say this is the first time EVER in all the years I have been eating at Busabu (delivery from Stratford) the food has absolutely no taste, no seasoning. I might as well have been eating cardboard paper. What has happened to the chefs ?? Please sort as I love this restaurant

Worst experience ever!
- Order taken after waiting for more than 10 minutes while the place was not even half full.
- Drinks arrived while people at the same table were already eating, despite they arrived after us and ordered after us.
- Tables are not properly cleaned or checked, it was some sticky stuff on our table and nobody cared to clean that. I cannot leave any links here but I can prove that anytime with the photo I took.
- Our food never came. After waiting for 45 minutes we paid for the drinks and left the place.
- The manager actually insisted to offer the drinks for free but I did not accepted.

Awful experience: the staff at Busaba Westfield Stratford really ruined what was supposed to be a nice evening spent with family. We don't have much time to spend together and actually really like Thai food but Busaba Wesfield Stratford managed to ruin that completely - thank you for such a disgraceful experience and out time wasted!

Terrible, I moved to multiple different tables because the waiter kept placing couples at my tables, without alerting me. Literally a couple would just be placed next to me every time I moved tables. I found it very inconsiderate and uncomfortable.

Then I saw hair in my food, utterly disgraceful. Never going again !!

Went to Busaba in Stratford/Westfield with two friends who'd last been to Busaba some years ago and were really keen to go. Waiter was very friendly BUT the food was super overpriced and frankly, awful. The vegetable rolls were clearly cheapest quality microwaved crap, the curries were flavourless. I could've made a far better curry myself (that's actually saying something). In the end, we had a set meal and a glass of wine each and ended up paying £45 each. NEVER again.

The food was amazing, and the staff are very friendly. We visited Busaba Restaurant in Kingston Riverside yesterday for lunch with my partner. the calamari, duck, ginger beef with rice and sticky rice mango are cooked to perfection. Lovely food difinately recommend and must try the food will come back again.

Utterly Underwhelming Experience...My Advice avoid!!
My daughter ordered a takeaway to be delivered.
My Starter of Chicken Satay was reasonable...but unfortunately my main course of Green Chicken Curry arrived without any chicken....they refunded and sent a replacement within an hour but the replacement was shocking...with a very watery sauce comprised of some bamboo shoots and some very small shreds of chicken....I clearly can't recommend and would personally avoid....there are plenty of and much better Thai takeaway restaurants out there....you live and learn...

Busaba Cardiff

My first time here. My 3 stars is for the fast & polite, friendly service from both Casey & Victor. I went during quiet time so not sure if that makes a difference.

The food was ok, prices are high. I recommend the Panday Chicken with sesame sause. The Pad Thai with chicken portion size was great but was flavourless so I added the left over sesame sause & lemon. The dessert of Chocolate Fondant & Coconut icecream was lovely but the most expensive.

Had a great meal here the other day. Just wanted to say thank you to Andrew the bartender who was very polite and helped us out with our food order.

Not good..but they were great 5 hrs ago.I used to go to the one near Goodge st tube..really lovely..expanded.. I had a prawn pad Thai..with one king prawn.. now it’s just a chain and a con..

The worst Thai food in my life! I have traveled all over the world. The red curry chicken was red curry soup. The sauce looked like soup and had no flavor. The pad Thai was OK at best. The portion sizes were half the size of a normal Thai restaurant and to boot there was a bone in our red curry chicken. The only reason this place stays in business is because of the location. Don’t waste your money!!!!!’

I ordered thai green chicken curry, red curry & 1 boiled rice, normally when I order with Yam Chai Restaurant, we get a big portion of rice where 2 people can eat. For the price paid at this Restaurant the portion of rice & 2 dishes were fit for 1 person. I paid £30 for that!!! Far too expensive for 1. The Thai chicken green curry & red curry were so watery, could see bit swimming very little chicken in these 2 dishes. Totally disappointed. Never ordering from this Restaurant again.

Had ordered a Busaba meal from Uber Eats which didn't turn up. I raised it with Uber Eats who weren't bothered to investigate it appropriately. I then escalated it to Busaba management who couldn't have been nicer - they were very responsive and thoughtful about resolving this, even though Uber Eats were at fault. It's heartening to know they care about their customers' experience!

I have always maintained that the Westfield branch is the best but Ithink because I live in Sw6 this branch doesnt deliver to me - logistics, I get it.
I definately will not be ordering from the Kings Road Branch EVER again. Its always hit and miss and tonight was definately a miss night.
An absolute waste of money even with a discount code this was overpriced.
I dont know who cooked but it definately wasn't a chef. This is another down side to the 10pm closing. Rushed food because they are trying to get as many orders in before closing. There was not one ounce of seasoning in my beef noodle dish!

Chelsea, Beaufont Street : this is the 2nd time I have been to this branch, and I thoroughly enjoyed the umbience of this restaurant.

The rice bowl was delicious and a good sized portion. The other food ordered by my colleagues also looked and tasted fantastic too.

The service here was lovely and I would recommend eating here.
