City Pantry are unreliable
City Pantry are unreliable
We receive City Pantry every week at work, and I could list a number of examples where they've been poor. E.g. Food doesn't arrive, food is late (by 1hr+), food arrives without labels so we don't know which is which.
I understand they're a growing company and filling a needed gap, however their customer support never seems to solve these errors. Very disappointed! If I had another option to City Pantry, I'd be using it right now.

It's disappointing to hear about the recent problems that you have had with the timing and labelling of your City Pantry orders. We understand the need for dishes to be easily identifiable, particularly when you have a group of people to feed. We will take on board your comments and work hard to improve our service going forward.
Unreliable and customer services are difficult to get hold of
I agree with the person below. We ordered croissants from Paul for a group of 40 people for a 9am delivery on a Saturday. They royally messed up my order by missing the delivery window and delivering 2 hours later. I tried to call customer services a few times within the time slot but nobody answered!
They then proceeded to tell me that they tried to call and that there was no one there, neither of which is true. I didn't get a missed call and we had a wide-open door half an hour before delivery time.
They gave us a 25% refund but nothing can excuse the fact that they did not meet the delivery time and it has lost my trust. I will probably use a more reliable delivery service next time. Sorry guys.

Customer Service Team are just lovely
Customer Service Team are just lovely! I had to re-direct my delivery twice last night and the lady I spoke to was super efficient and friendly to deal with. She got our issue sorted straight away and called back to check in. Not a bad word to say!

Just ordered today for lunch
Got the steak burrito and I was very impressed. Food was great, was delivered when they said it would be and it was extremely easy to order online. If I had to say anything bad about it (which I don't think there was) - it would be that it's not easy to see a number on the food when lined up on the table, there was about another 120 orders and not in numerical order. But other than that, amazing! :)

We absolutely love getting our Monday…
We absolutely love getting our Monday lunches through City Pantry. The team is super friendly and so speedy at dealing with anything you need. We have a good variety of vendors to choose from who cater for our dietary and financial requirements. Working with CP was by far one of the best decisions we took for office catering.

On-time, Effortless, and always good food
I've used the service a few times now, for team meetings, our customer service team, and lunch with external stakeholders. The account manager was very helpful in making sure that the ordering / re-ordering process was very simple and effortless!
I also really appreciated the fact that City Pantry managed to accommodate for last minute requests. We have followed the recommendations for vendors and were never disappointed with the food. Always on time.
I will keep on using them.

Helped us to impress our meeting guests
I recently ordered lunch for an important meeting through City Pantry. The website was really easy to use, the meal turned up exactly on time and the food was delicious. Our guests were very impressed with the spread (which made us look great)! Highly recommend

Not great, there are better out there.
Not a great experience to be honest. The food was late, some of the items we ordered were missing and the delivery company, that I believe was Quiqup, seemed to be in total meltdown and were unable to give us a straight answer. It seems City Pantry are OK to a point and then when things go wrong, fall to bits. There are better companies out there and City Pantry has a long way to go if it's going to survive in this space! Would not recommend at all!!
