I unfortunately signed a contact to sell my Timeshare in New Mexico.
I've had it since 1984, it was great, had lots of terrific vacation gave vacations as gifts..but at some point we don't use it any longer
The the people at Buy have always been nice, called today.. but its as useless as my timeshare.
1256.00 I paid and nothing..
Might as well put it on MarketPlace for freakin' free..not sure if anyone had sold on this, but pretty much don't waste your money..

Buya timeshare.com is a marketing firm they sure do not help you sell it whatsoever. I’ve had mine listed since October with no offers. Don’t spend your money here.

On March 19, 2025, I engaged the services of this company to assist in selling a timeshare. From the outset, the information provided was vague and unclear. I paid $630.00 for what was described as an advertisement; however, the ad format was extremely basic and, in my opinion, ineffective and unlikely to generate results.

Following the guidance of the company’s representative, the advertisement was posted. However, during my own research, I quickly discovered that numerous similar timeshares were listed for significantly lower prices—often up to 75% less than the price suggested by the company. These listings had also remained unsold for extended periods.

This led me to the conclusion that successfully selling my timeshare under these conditions was virtually impossible. It appears that the company presents clients with unrealistic expectations to prompt emotional decisions and secure payment. Once paid, clients often find themselves in a position where the only potential sale would be at a drastic discount—sometimes as much as 90% below the advertised price.

In my view, these practices are both unethical and misleading. It is deeply concerning that companies using such tactics are permitted to operate. After realizing the true nature of the situation—approximately 28 days after engaging their services—I requested to cancel the agreement and receive a refund. Unfortunately, my request was denied without consideration.

I hope this matter can be resolved fairly and that the company reflects on its business practices, striving to uphold higher standards of honesty and integrity moving forward.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I also spoke with Quincy Brown who signed me up 2 years ago for 2000USD with the help of a very pushy sales assistant. Not being from the US I was not familiar with how much of a scam the whole industry is. I essentially paid 2000USD to a bogus company to post a poorly-written ad with little to do follow up. when i queried recently i was told there had been an offer in 2023 but they no longer have a record of it and I never got an email about it. I have no evidence this company has ever sold a timeshare. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I tried to use this service but Ron Marino was quite rude and could not even list my property correctly.

He then proceeded to bully me and to not waste his time if I was not going to buy. When I mentioned the reviews he write this: top wasting my time. this is not the Redcross. and if you were educated you would know that anyone form another company, or a disgruntled employee can go on those pltforms and put whatever they want . don't forget to pay your maint fees

My experience with Buyatimeshare.com was only good at first... They just want you to sign up...Then they post your property online and it just sits... They may call you and ask you to reduce price... Also they will suggest a price and make sure its high enough so it doesn't hit the 85%of sale so they don't have to return the money if you sell it another way.. Their Money back gurantee is not one at all, don't buy it... As a matter of fact Don't buy into this company..
They'll get ya just like the people that sold to you

I contacted these people almost 12 months ago to sell our timeshare in Australia.The advised I had to pay some money to them and they would have it sold quickly.They contacted me some weeks later to tell me they thought the price might be a little too high as they said they have had some interest.I haven’t heard anything since.Not happy with the service.I provided my mobile number and email address.

Had a phone call from a fellow who was abusive, rude and amazingly aggressive! I am a seller, so can not see that attitude and behaviour would ever sell to a buyer!
I ended up hanging up on him, as I was getting quite upset with his attacking me if I asked a question. Since then, he has continually rang me, about 10 times, until I had to block his number. Now continuous calls from the other office in Florida! So now blocked that as well. Plus calls at midnight! These people are bat crazy! Maybe rabid! Keep away, not legit!

I believe this is a fraud company. They pushed me around to different people/phone numbers and they even answered the phones with different names. Then the man was so rude, combative, and lied. They must be a sham. I wouldn't trust this group!

I made an online enquiry yesterday to estimate the value of my timeshare. I received a US call at 12.30am from Quincy Brown. I did not answer but he called again this morning. He reminded me that we spoke 5 years ago, "many many times" and that he had prepared the work for me to resell and then I had not proceeded. I was sure that I did not get that close to signing with him. He then spoke without pausing so I could not get a word in. When I finally did and said he was pounding words at me, he became very aggressive and ended the conversation. He is extremely hard sell, and I cannot find any proof of these sales online. If anyone can tell me if he has achieved a good resale for them I would be interested in hearing it.

I've read a few reviews about Buymytimeshare and strangely the only (sales) person mentioned recently is one Quincey Browne. I contacted them and over the course of 3 years Quincey never gave up trying to get me to sign up. He is an aggressive salesman, getting a word of mine into the conversation was always very difficult. Quincey can talk and talk and talk. He was asking $2000 (Two Thousand) for his services. That was a very generous (not) discount of 50%. From a few posts, it would seem that he makes the amount up. The post above says that $299 was paid! Other posts give payments as 350$, 600$, 1000$, 1200$, 1500$, and then my small fee of 2000$. When finally I discussed this with my wife, we decided that BMT does not seem legit or at least was just interested in taking the upfront fee. There is nowhere that I have found that shows any details of any sales. The website consumeraffairs.com, which pops up on a Goggle search only has replies from BMT. Around April 2016 these reviews are all "very good" not one bad one but then from August 2017 to today, 14 negative reviews. When I told Quincy that we were no longer sellers he got pretty vocal. I had to say goodbye and close the connection. He then immediately rang my wife as he was obviously not going to give up my 2000$ I've now blocked him. BMT does not tick any of the boxes required for confidence. It's a scam by any other name. I ticked "Let Buyatimeshare.com know about your review". His reply might be very interesting.

I have been listed with this company for about six months. I have lowered my asking price several times and have not received any offers to date. The interesting thing is that the company cannot direct you to any reviews. I am going to keep the thing listed with them only because I have nothing else to lose besides the $299 that I paid. I cannot believe they have been in business for 20 years.

I was trying to use this company to assist my family to find a buyer for two timeshares that we own.

I have spoken to one of their representatives, Quincy. He's a pretty aggressive guy, which doesn't have to be a bad thing. However, whenever I began asking questions he became frustrated and evasive. He wanted me to look at the company's website or to understand he's been doing this for 26 years.

When I asked him if he could help me to determine the value of the timeshares, he told me it was illegal. When I asked about who's laws would be broken; i.e. the state law, federal law etc... He responded with "Global!"

Sure, the global laws of Planet Earth prevent buyatimeshare.com from making a comission...
