BEST SELLER! Ansell TR1 Hand Tile Chisel - Tile Remover - Tile Removal Tool
Hand tile chisel especially designed for removing tiles. Ideal for clearing large quantities of tiles from walls and floors.
This tile remover has a cranked blade with a wide surface area (50mm width).
Simply lever the sharp end of the blade behind the wall tile and strike down (on the wide striking-point where the handle meets the blade) with a hammer. The tile can then be levered off the wall. Can also be used to lever off floor tiles.
The robust plastic handle has a hand protector and finger grooves for a firm grip.
This tile removal tool is made in Sheffield, England from chrome vanadium steel.
Should be used with safety glasses.

I had to lift floor tiles. The tile chisel lifted the tiles but failed to lift the adhesive.

Hi Roger,
Thank you for your feedback.
This tool is made to remove the tiles, It is not designed to remove the adhesive as well. If you are wanting to remove the adhesive then you would need to use a scraper.
Thanks,
Ollie

Hi Rod,
Thank you very much for providing us with feedback regarding the tile remover chisel.
The overall rating doesn't reflect the individual ratings or description so I assume this was unintentional? If not, is there some more feedback you can let us know as to why this doesn't suit your expectations?
Thanks and kind regards,

Hi,
Sorry to hear that you aren't satisfied with the tile removing chisel.
I believe you're the first customer to not be happy with this item.
The blade has to be 5/6 mm thick to give it strength to help prise tiles from a surface. Any thinner and it would affect the durability. You can get these chisels with a long handle but in our experience the smaller handled chisels are more convenient and do the same thing any way.
If there's any further information you can give as to why you don't like this. Please do let us know.
Thanks and kind regards,
Scott
