I bought a calculator from them a week ago, the next day after receiving the calculator I sent pictures showing the ink on the calculator was bleeding with pictures and videos for evidence. Maggie confirmed something was wrong and to take more pictures of what was in the box when I received it. I was very surprised when they refused to be liable because the screen did not look broken to them and according to them this was due to mishandling and mind you this was less than 24 hours after receiving it. The lack of empathy in handling this case is appalling. Both Maggie and Jay confirmed they would not be liable to for the return or replacement even though it still says I can on their return policy. I guess this is the world where we live in now where people refuse to be accountable as long as they are pushing sales and getting paid as long as they are the ones not getting screwed.

I had read their reviews, they are not great but decided to give them a chance anyway but the joke is on me I guess.

There are a lot of negative reviews about Calculators Direct on the UK Trust Pilot website. I have purchased two graphic calculators from Calculators Direct, and both times my orders have been shipped promptly and they arrived in good condition. No company is perfect, but i believe that the folks at Calculators Direct do try to please their customers. The most recent calculator I purchased was on March 8, 2024 and it arrived the next day. The calculator was a Casio cg-50. It arrived well packaged and in good working order.

Sent me the wrong item and asked me to return the item before sending me the correct item. Customer service is not professional at all. Buy from Amazon instead.

Bought a casio FX 991EX and a Blue Casio 83GTX
was delivered within 48 hours as promised.
I was also worried about ordering but looking at reviews on Ekomi there are 1000s of positive reviews.
Prices were very good also

At first I was sent a defective calculator. The replacement was not quite right either and they asked me to return them both. That December 2021 (5 months ago). I've had nothing sent back and no refund. When I chased them they said the calculators were put back into store and anyway they only make 50p on a sale!! Not sure how relevant that is to me. I then wrote to the MD of the company but he hasn't had the courtesy to get in touch.

Extremely unprofessional.

Took my order and payment. No updates other than the usual "We've got your money, sucker!" order and payment confirmation.

Called and was told someone would call me back. I have not been called back.

Emailed asking for an order update. No reply.

I would NOT use this company again. Their lack of communication is NOT what I paid for and this company's lack of professionalism is astounding.

I'm genuinely beginning to feel like I've been scammed.

I paid for an expensive calculator I've yet to receive and I'm not expecting to receive my calculator any time soon.

I was a bit apprehensive about ordering from this company after seeing the reviews, but i went onto komi and saw thousands of good reviews there, so i took a chance.

Ordered HP 50G graphic calculator, it arrived today (christmas eve) 2 days after ordering. It arrived sealed with the authenticity sticker and is in brand new working condition.

That's a pretty good turnaround. I'm considering ordering a second one.

Ordered calculator, paid over £100.
Email says it is dispatched. A week passes, no calculator. Email to query it, am told they could not find the address matching my postcode and never sent it. Didn’t email me to confirm address (which was correct, as was the postcode), they just sat on it.
Assured it would be sent out.
Another week passes. Still no calculator. Seeing a pattern?
I email to query it again and am assured they will look into it and get back to me.
Another week passes…
25 days after they took my money I still have no calculator and no explanation.
I did ask for a refund. No answer.

the postage was swift and the product competitive on price. aftersales support was a bit slow - they're better by phone than email. overall good

Never got my calculator, and now no one answers, when I request for my refund!

Jeg fandt et godt tilbud på en Texas TI-89 på Amazon.co.uk Markets fra Calculatorsdirect. Efter at jeg havde stillet spørgsmål om hvad der var med, gjorde butikken opmærksom på, at jeg også kunne købe den direkte i deres netbutik i stedet for via deres afdeling hos Amazon. Da det var ca 15 GBP billigere inkl. porto, valgte jeg deres netbutik.

Jeg fik straks en ordrebekræftelse.
Derefter hørte jeg intet og fik ikke svar på 2 henvendelser i løbet af 3 uger. De skrev herefter at den var gået i restordre og beklagede at jeg ikke havde fået besked. Da jeg ringede til dem, lovede de at sende den så snart de fik den hjem, senest fredag inden weekenden, og sende mig et tracking nummer på email. Derfor undlod jeg at aflyse ordren.

De har derimod hævet beløbet på mit kreditkort 3 dage efter min bestilling. Jeg synes det er uetisk at hæve pengene før de sender varen. Deres forklaring var, at de havde oplevet så meget kreditkort snyd, at de nu brugte et bureau til at tjekke kreditkort og at de som led heri (nogle gange?) hævede på de udenlandske før levering. Det var helt nyt at de brugte det bureau, så de havde ikke sat en rutine op med at sende en email til kunden, når bureauets tjek forsinkede handlen.

Jeg fik varen om mandagen i ugen efter jeg ringede. Det var hurtigere end de havde turde love, da jeg talte med dem.
De holdt ikke aftalen med at sende trackingnummer.

Jeg havde tjekket deres rating på Amazon.co.uk inden bestilling og den var rigtig god.
