I’ve been a member of Campwild for 3 years and it’s been the best decision. It gave me the confidence to take my two young boys camping alone in some great private camp spots from farm meadows to woodland. I’ve attended several camp outs which are fantastic. We’ve made great friends. The guys at CW are great and really helpful and genuinely down to earth. Always respond to queries and offer excellent choices for camping spots when asked. Highly recommend

​I went to the Gathering this weekend not really knowing what to expect, I just said yes to a friend's invitation to go camping, and I was blown away by the stunning location and how many wonderful people I met! 🫶

I just wanted to drop a huge thank you to the organisers, Tom and Alex, for putting together such a fantastic event, and to my fellow campers for being the best company! 🙏

Loved every minute of it—thank you all, I'll be back again for sure! 🔥🏕️🏊‍♀️

Camp Wild is wonderful. Alex and Tom have put so much thought into curating some exceptional wild spaces. I have just participated in my third community campout… and been a member for three years. This weekend at escape to the lake we enjoyed a two day campout “The Gathering” which brought together a diverse group of “like-hearted” individuals, couples, groups, and families for gentle nature exploring, yoga, breathwork, talks, swimming, rounders, volleyball, crafting, cooking together and enjoying conversations around the campfire. As always there was the chance to simply chill out or get as involved as you wanted. I could not recommend getting involved more! I cannot imagine anyone who values connecting with nature rating these guys anything below 5 stars!

This was my third time out with CampWild, and once again, they didn't disappoint! The 3rd birthday campout was their first two-night event, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
You can really feel the huge amount of love and effort the team pours into these weekends. From the unreal food and fun games and activities to exploring nature around the lake and river, every moment was pure magic.
What truly sets CampWild apart, though, is the community. I met so many amazing people and walked away with incredible connections and conversations that will stay with me for a long time. Seeing the positive impact these events have on everyone who attends is such a wonderful thing.
Huge thanks to the whole team for another epic campout. I left with a full heart, brilliant memories, and I already can’t wait for the next one!

If I could give 7, 8, 10 stars I would.

I camp with my 1 year old and she has done a few CampWild spots but this weekend we had the pleasure of attending one of their CampOuts for the first time called ‘The Gathering’ and I absolutely could not recommend it enough. A weekend full of like minded individuals, couples, friends, families, all coming together to enjoy camping, exploring, activities and just the general love for the outdoors.

The atmosphere was incredible easy going and relaxing and the location was so beautiful! Very well thought and put together.

I’d absolutely recommend anyone to look at one of their CampOuts as well as their Wild Camping spots.

My first organised wild camp, great folks, relaxed atmosphere, what a way to meet new people and immerse yourself in nature.

CampWild UK has genuinely changed the way I camp. It’s opened up incredible places I never would have discovered otherwise, and every wild space has its own unique character. I love how it encourages responsible wild camping while supporting local landowners. Bookings are simple, the hosts have always been welcoming, and it’s given me the confidence to explore more of the UK, such as Yorkshire Dales, Wales, Dartmoor and more. I’ve been a CampWild member for over a year now, and have attended eight of their community campouts. They’ve been a fantastic way to meet like-minded people, discover places I probably never would have visited, and get involved in activities that are genuinely great fun. I’ve discovered beautiful waterfalls, experienced cold water swimming, and stand-up paddleboarding which I now do regularly.

The biggest surprise for me has been the friendships. I’ve made some incredible friends through CampWild, many of whom I now go camping with all over the UK. Some have become such close friends they’ll even be coming to my wedding next year. If you’re looking to explore amazing places, try new things, and maybe become part of a genuine community, I couldn’t recommend CampWild UK more highly

Had the most simultaneously relaxing and fun weekend at The Gathering. Swam everyday and met really lovely people in a beautiful location. The vibe was just perfection, no fuss, no rush; all just getting stuck in whether that was with a big game of all ages rounders, making flower crowns, or just chatting around the fire. The team clearly did heaps of work to sort everything but they all were clearly having a great time too. When leaving, so many of us were agreeing that we would see each other at the next one. Two days in nature in a special spot with lovely people. Who wouldn't want to return? ☺️

Just been on my second CampWild community camp out, first was A very cold night in January and then now a lovely warm one in July !
Each setting soo different and The team catered for that perfectly !
Providing shelter in the rain with warm fires and drinks and amazing hot food!
To shade in the summer with a lovely cheese board , and beers (alcohol free too !)
Staff are always around to help with literally anything you might need and are happy to do so , nothing seems to much trouble.
The little adventures and activities they put on are great and the talks are always informative and interesting.
The atmosphere is always fantastic , they provide chairs for around the fire for people to come together.
There is only one bad thing … I just wish every campout was two nights , because we enjoy them so much.
It’s genuinely the best place to switch of and feel free.

I have so much to say and not enough words to express how much we enjoyed our weekend with everyone @ The Gathering or to thank Alex & Tom for starting this whole Campwild thing up…CAMPWILD IS AMAZING! THE GATHERING WAS AMAZING! Everyone should experience whatever wonderfulness this was and Team Camp Wild and fellow wild campers - you absolutely rock!!

Well, the sales pitch is great, but actual places to wild camp are few and far between. A complete waste of money. I paid for a subscription so a mate and I could find some decent sites. Turns out I can only book one pitch, so my mate would also have to sign up. On top of that, there are very few places, even fewer to give a real wild camping experience. Not worth even the small sum of £25 a year. I'll find my own thanks.

Have been using this site for about a year now and love the access it gives you. With the current legalities around wild camping it's so good to turn up in the middle of the day and know that the space is yours. The photos at check in and check out also help reinforce the leave no trace principle that means better campers and more trusting landowners. Its definitely given me greater confidence.

Fantastic experience!
Site was perfect, nothing but nature to see and hear. Easy to find, bit of a walk in but expected that as it was explained on the website. Will definitely return!

We stayed at The Rifle Range in our camper with my two kids and it was just what we needed.

Felt really safe and easy which is a big thing for me travelling with them. They had loads of freedom to run around and just be outside, which they loved, and I could actually relax a bit.

Simple, quiet and feels like a proper escape.
Kids are already asking when we can go back which says it all really 😊

Just had a fab weekend away, recently signed up and can tell will use a lot. Their site is easy to use and efficient, excited for some summer experiences

We have been using CamWild for a year and it has completely change our family camping experience.

As a family with young children (6 & 3) we have really enjoyed the space and freedom CampWild Wild Spaces offer. There are a great selection of spaces to choose from depending on what you are looking for, we have had some incredible adventures and made some amazing memories as a family.

We were also lucky to join a Campout last year, and it was such an amazing experience, we spent 24h with likeminded people and by the end of it we all had made friends and felt part of the amazing community they have built.

Looking forward to many more CampWild adventures.

Great idea. We have been on three trips now, nice to have your own space. Variations in amenities means you can plan different sorts of trips

Used CampWild a few weeks ago and me and my partner absolutely loved it. We've been trying to find some hidden gems for a while and their platform was great for this. Really nifty and easy to use. I'm enjoying some of their features and their grading systems as well. Me and the Mrs are already scoping out our next weekend away. Highly recommend!

I appreciate camp wild contacted me after a few days and helped to refund the charge.although I don't plan to use them soon I do believe in their mission . I contacted camp wild for a refund of the £25 as soon as they noticed they helped sort out the problem .

Stayed on Norman Farm in the Peak District. The location was about 45 minutes walk from Hope. It was really easy to find. I had a great camp. I will be back. Thank you
