Halo Capsule Avis 460

We find the hoover fit for purpose. But if anything goes wrong they are completed useless. They do not respond to emails and use computerised messages which do not help. The company does not care for its customers!

I purchased the basic model at £180. Delivery took longer than expected, the battery life was really poor (15 mins tops so not as advertised), and the cleaner itself was only good for picking up loose dirt from a hard floor. Anything more challenging like fluff from a rug failed miserably.

Took several attempts to contact the supplier, eventually got a returns label and sent the unit back. 2 weeks after the return was signed for, no refund. I ended up having to raise a dispute via PayPal and got a refund.

Very disappointed.

These vacuum cleaners are not made to last. I can't understand how Which has endorsed this. The motor had 2 be replaced within a year of buying. Contacted them regarding a replacement vacuum head and was told I could not get one and would have to buy a whole new vacuum cleaner which I did not want to waste money I can ill afford. Now I just want Halo to tell me where I can recycle this piece of crap!

We were talked into buying a new model, when our first Halo broke down beyond. We were assured that 30 costly replacement bags for the first cleaner could be used on the new one, with an adaptor that they would send. It never arrived. It never existed. Halo will not replace the redundant bags with compatible bags, despite having misled us. Customer 'service' is argumentative and negative. We wouldn't buy from Halo a third time.

The most useless cleaner I have ever had. Certainly doesn’t do what it says it does on the adverts.
If I could I would get my money back.

Bought the halo capsule bundle which includes replacement bags, first cordless hoover ive ever had. Think its brilliant. Good suction, easy to convert into hand held. Can see lines on carpet where its cleaned its that powerful. To get right amount of running time do not use boost unless absolutely necessary. Use mine on second setting and get upstairs and downstairs done in one charge. Came within a week of ordering. Great little cleaner

This is one of the worst company’s I’ve ever had to deal with. The customer service is terrible, They do not respond to emails, when you phone and speak to someone it’s very hard to understand what they are saying, and trying to get a refund is an absolute nightmare. Avoid!!

My experience was great because I was treated with courtesy and respect throughout by Tom who rang me every day to let me know how the work was proceeding. The driver who delivered my courtesy car . Took mine away to be repaired and then delivered mine back was polite and happy to answer any questions I asked. Thank-you to all of them involved.

Ordered accessories some weeks ago - still waiting delivery - no response to reminder emails

Ordered 26 02 2026. Customer service poor, no contact from dpd for delivery. One item never came, price 79.99. No help from delivery company or Halo. Still trying to get item delivered. Think it was dumped in communal hallway.

0rdered new charger 4.11.25 been told numerous times it’s coming. Wrote to CEO nothing. Want my money back. The company needs checking out something very wrong. Staff just lie

Don’t trust these jokers, after 3 months waiting for our product they continue to site “delivery issues” but in reality they are likely going out of business. Protect your money and steer clear of them. .

Brilliant ordered Thursday evening delivered by Saturday lunchtime. Extremly well packed. Looking forward to using, ignore reviews until I try for myself.

The vacuum has brilliant suction power but the battery is crap, it's supposed to last up to an hour but you'll be lucky if a full charge lasts ten minutes one full charge is not enough to vacuum one room , get another battery with your order because to get it separately will cost an arm and a leg making the whole purchase an anticlimax.In fairness Halo did say they will send a replacement and it has been despatched so we wait thanks

I ordered a Halo capsule cleaner but their website was incredibly slow/ineffective so I ended up ordering 2 by mistake. I was unable to take an order number from the website so didn't see my mistake until both machines arrived. These took longer to arrive than they promised. Customer service was slow to respond to emails and took 10 minutes and then 20 minutes to answer the phone. They said it was my error and I had to pay to send one back. They failed to send out a returns label so in the end I requested to send both back and they sent out pre-paid returns labels as their site promised. I tried one of the cleaners but it only lasted 20 mins instead of the promised 'up to 60 mins'.

I just can not get my head round the numerous poor reports on this company and its Halo appliance.
We bought our first one 5 years ago and, within the warranty period had a minor hiccough when the snaplock to the bag chamber broke. Accordingly we had to return the cylinder as a whole to be repaired, free of charge, and received it back within days.

We bought our second model in Jan 2025 and last Thursday the roller brush bearing broke and jammed the roller. I reported it promptly, sent a pic to the company, and within hours was advised a replacement was on its way but "might take 7-10 days to arrive".
It arrived today just 48 hours after reporting the matter.!!!!!!
Overall then I have nothing but praise for the company and its products- our first purchase is now used in the garage to clean up the rubber flooring and does the job admirably when used with suitable caution and the second now has a new lease of life for the house thanks to the Company's very prompt response.
My Review is entitled accordingly!!

I ordered some halo capsule replacement bags in Jan - 2 months later still not delivered & company have not responded to my emails. Will be contacting my credit card company to get a refund but furious as effectively haven’t been able to use vac for 6 weeks

I have had a Halo Capsule for a year. The end cap for the roller brush has snapped and ground the end of the roller, rendering the appliance useless. I have tried to contact the company for three weeks now, still no contact from them. I am now having to review other products to replace it.
Terrible service from this company. Be very careful before buying from them.

Just bought a Halo for £199.99.Compared to a Shark it is brilliant.Without putting it into boost mode it picked up loads that the other didnt.Easy to assemble ,so powerful that you can see it pulling the carpet it.
