Carbonite Avis 

Somehow, I deleted an entire folder from my desktop which contained numerous files. They were probably duplicated somewhere else in my directories but to gather all the documents together would have been time consuming and I may have missed some. I was able to retrieve my folder from Carbonite intact. And a few years ago, my computer died and because of Carbonite I recovered almost all of my files, in particular my Quick Books

I really like the fact that my information will never be list!

Carbonite does what they say they will do. They provide a good backup service at a fair price.

I never have a problem with the automatic backup and if there is I'm notified immediately

My desktop tower computer just crashed suddenly without warning one Monday morning and I had no access to anything important that I needed to get to. I quickly bought a new tower desktop and called Carbonite. They got me started on the transfer of all my many thousands of files. It took a few days for it all to get done but once done it was wonderful. I was able to find just about everything with little difficulty. I did have to redownload some programs and recreate some folders and subfolders but everything was there for me to use.

I’ve never had to use Carbonite to retrieve files (thank goodness!). My only concern is that you keep sending me e-mails encouraging me to upgrade my account. But you don’t tell me what the upgrade will do nor why, if it’s important enough to charge me for, why you don’t automatically include it.

Carbonite is a reliable back-up cloud service, with very good technical support when needed.

Love the service and the safety using Carbonite.

They back up our computer files. They send a report monthly that shows how many files were backed up. We have not encountered any problems.

Had a blue-screen-of-death meltdown after a Windows update corrupted my BIOS and boot files. After struggling through trying to fix the issue through the less invasive repair measures and ultimately being unable to fix the issue, I was forced to reinstall Windows and begin the restoration process through Carbonite. Once the app was downloaded, the process was simple and complete, though slow (taking 16 hours to complete.) Really saved the day and made it absolutely worth the price!
