bought a criminal psychology course and after 2 months the account was shut down and emails bounced I'm absolutely beside myself DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY $1885 gone

SCAM!!!!

I was lucky in that I completed my certificate in 2022 & received my certificate.

I left Australia in 2023 & was in communication about paying off the rest of my course before I left the country. I received a “no you must continue with direct debits”

Since returning to NZ in Feb 2023 they contacted me Nov 2023 with an arrears email and tried multiple attempts to pay it / stay in communication to work out payments etc etc

My last email in Feb 2024 went unanswered. And have no heard from them since.

Yesterday I received an email from a Melbourne Debt Collection Agency demanding the rest of the payment. With the note that Career House have tried multiple attempts to contact me (no they haven’t as they knew my situation and knew email was best form of communication seeing as I left the country).

To have received this yesterday with a little over a week before Christmas one of the busiest times of the year is frustrating and upsetting. Especially when I tried my absolute best to work things out with them via email back in 2023 til early 2024 which then went unanswered.

Such a poor experience with admin. Super unprofessional and inconsiderate. I wouldn’t sign up nor recommend this company purely for that.

I had no idea this company was a scam. I paid a hefty price to do a few certificates and only received two of them. When I tried to contact them to get the others, the number is disconnected and the emails all bounce. How ridiculous. They aren’t accredited and I chose this one because it had the course I was really interested in, but in the end I never even got to do it.

I wish I looked at the reviews before I signed up with career house. Once I realised the course was not the right one for my accreditation I tried to cancel. It was past the cooling off period which was so small (3 days? 5 days?) Now I have to pay the whole course over 4k, and had paid a few mo ths worth already for nothing. Absolute scam and unethical.

Uncontactable and no support just take your money a total scam

No follow up, no support, not nationally recognised, am still having $$$ deducted 3 years after the fact, a total scam

Keep right away from these jokers. They never respond, their phone number isn’t connected. They’ll spell your name wrong on your certificate and then take their time to rectify it. Just avoid like the plague

I did a course back a few years i didn't put a review on here! But I should have!! scammers! these guys are! The courses courses have no accreditation, they ring me thousands of times to do more study when im already paying a huge debt to pay them off.
They don't have a proper phone number on the student pay website to call them, they are very pushy.. don't study with these guys, save your mental health guys!

i was very interested in their courses until i found out they are not worth the paper they are printed on. they wont help you get a job
