I had the opportunity to work with Bernardo M. and CarsDirect recently and ended up leasing a 2013 Honda Fit. Bernardo was great, and was able to negotiate everything for me. When I went to pick up the car at the dealership, everything went very smoothly and there were no surprises. Overall, this was a great experience, and made the whole process painless and quick. I would highly recommend Bernardo and CarsDirect to anyone I know.

I HATE negotiating with car salesmen. No matter what price I get, I always feel I'm being ripped off or I hear some discount after I already bought the car or I end up getting something I don't really want. Not so with CarsDirect. If you know what you want, they'll get you the car for the best price. No games. I like that.

CarsDirect delivered on all expectations and takes a lot of the negative experiences out of the car buying process altogether. As someone who is particular about their vehicles, my experience with CarsDirect is first class all the way. I was offered the best deal over the phone and had my new 2013 Range Rover Sport ready for delivery when I arrived. No games, no pressure, an excellent buying experience.

My lease was up & I wanted a new car, so I thought I could just buy from the dealer I was leasing from. Big mistake, just kept trying to get me to buy something more expensive. Carsdirect was much easier. I just filled in what I was looking for, talked to them over the phone to figure out the paperwork, and that was it. I just purchased a 2014 Passat TDI SEL sedan in just a couple of days. The price was as shown and the car delivered to my home at the agreed time (over and hour away). The representative had my wife and I sign the forms, received the check and left in the escort car. It was a pleasure to do this so easily.
The car had 112 miles on it. I am having fun understanding the new features. It is exactly what I wanted.

I put a request into Carsdirect for a purchase of a new BMW 535. After some back and forth I was quoted a price and went for a test drive. When it came time for delivery of the car, I learned that my "new" BMW had almost 5000 miles on it. I also allowed Carsdirect to handle the financing which now has a loan amount of $500 over what it should be (the initial deposit wasn't figured in) I was told it would be corrected prior to me receiving my bill and I would get new documents to sign. I probably wouldn't be writing this review if someone had contacted me back after I told them what happened, but I am left to fend for myself between the credit card company that the deposit was on and the financing company. If it doesnt work out I will sue on principal. Thankfully, NJ has some great consumer fraud laws.

The only reason I knew about this website was because I was going to give them a sterling review before I knew about the 5000 miles, but everything since then has been awful.

I bought a new Subaru WRX from CarsDirect and couldn't be happier. I worked with Brad who was on top of it the whole way through. The car I wanted was very specific (base model with as few options as possible) and the inventory is pretty small on these. I went to 2 separate dealers before going to CarsDriect and the dealers wouldn't budge off of MSRP since there aren't many of the car I wanted around. After about a week and a half of Brad found one at Renick Subaru and was able to get the price down to $1,200 below MSRP. We did all the paperwork over email and I went to Renick that weekend to pick it up. Picking it up only took about an hour including paperwork, test drive ,etc. Overall it really was the best car buying experience I've had. I've bought 2 cars before at dealers and each time it took at least half a day and a whole lot of frustration to finally get a car.

I was in the market for 2014 Ford Explorer Sport - Black with Sienna inserts back in July. Galpin of Van Nuys had the model I wanted but after spending an hour negotiating the price, Galpin wouldn't budge past $46k + tax and regs. I went online to a Ford forum and they told me try Truecar, Costco, or CarsDirect. I tried Truecar and they referred me to Ford in Santa Monica, but the sales office said because of the demand for this particular model, they couldn't sell it at the Truecar quoted price. Costco was next, I was referred to Ford in Woodland Hills, but the story was the same at Sant Monica, can't go low as quoted price on Costco Auto b/c of demand. Last resort was CarsDirect, I got connected with Ralph, and we was prompt, patient, and detailed with my car request. He told me his dealers didn't have the Ford specs I was looking for, but he could put in a factory order with the price as quoted from their website, which was $1000 cheaper than Truecar which was the lowest anywhere. Trust me when I say lowest, I spend weeks researching, negotiating at dealers, and visiting forums. We placed the order, 2 months later the car came in. During the 2 months Ralph provided build updates and lastly he took care of all the paperwork. We went to the local dealer, picked up my car in less than 1 1/2 hours. No haggle, quick service, and the best car buying experience till date, while saving thousands. What else you want? I would definitely purchase another car through Ralph from CarsDirect. Trust me when i say this, I wouldn't spend a Saturday writing a review if i didn't feel 100% satisfied with any service.

Bottom line is, if you want to save time negotiating at dealers, save thousands, and save time with paperwork, CarsDirect.com is worth your business.
