Met Steve at Redwood House Bristol where he inspected and test drove my mint condition Fiesta in the midst of an appalling downpour. Steve was satisfied and we sat down to haggle. I found Steve polite, respectful but also resolute with his best offer! Its clear the on-line price is "optimistic" and, after some good natured bargaining I reluctantly accepted his offer(10,5% below the on-line quote) providing he gave me a lift to the nearest bus stop! He did this willingly and good natured, Funds arrived in my account 5.45pm the next day

Great staff, great help

Valuation of £9000, when I arrived they claimed it was a different vehicle (recognised by their system via the reg plate) and said because of this and because it needed a service (disclosed) they would offer half…and that no one would offer more. I had half a dozen offers much closer to the asking price. Utter waste of my time.

My daughter took a ford fiesta to this company to sell with an initial valuation if £4850 and then advised there was an issue with first gear and dropped the valuation down to £3850, having reluctantly settled for this amount was then called by Cash for your wheels offering £1600 as they claimed the gearbox was faulty.

I work for a leading national breakdown company and I checked this vehicle over and did a test drive and there were no major issues including the gearbox. This company clearly thought that they could rip off a vulnerable young lady and believe that to be totally acceptable. I believe that the actions of this shameful company is despicable and bordering on fraudulent.

Really upset that we had over 2 hours travel to be told they couldn’t buy our car as the log book was under a certain age, I understand if that’s a rule but there was no indication that any of this would be an issue on the FAQ page or the confirmation email. Waste of a day for us.

EDIT: I can see a reply from the customer service team saying they can find no record of me. Probably as they have called me ‘Mr N’ and my last name doesn’t start with an N, nor am I a Mr……
