Cash My Fone Avis 

It has taken over a week for them to process this order and I am still awaiting payment in my account. I have sent numerous emails, as I was not notified that they had received the phone, which I sent by special delivery. They are slow replying to emails, and have had no explanation as to why they are only willing to pay a non working price when I have asked them twice for a reason via email. I will not use them again

Very hard to get intouch after 3 days with no response in a working week office hours, finally got through to a nice lady who assisted me, but it was a struggle to get through...!

Sent my phone off which was in perfect condition and they still took 25 percent off. Emailed them 6 times and got no response. When I finally rang up had to leave a voice mail to which I was paid my reduced price straight away. So when they say it will take 48 hours for payment this is incorrect. Will not be using again. Have informed ofcom and they said they will investigate

sent in my Blackberry playbook as i wanted a iPad mini, they paid me over £50 for it :)

I found cash for phone a good service even though my phone had some problems I was offered a good deal thank you

I'd had my phone a month and decided to get a different one, was going to sell on E bay, but after charges etc the price offered by these seemed very reasonable. Then to my shock I received an e mail stating problems found with the order and they wanted to pay me a lot less for my mobile. (which is in mint condition, withought a single mark.)

I called them up to enquire as to what the problem was,the girl checks computer...and the engineer? states there are scratches on the screen and back of device, so I kick up a stink because I have photographic evidence that the phone is in excellent like new condition. Then they can suddenly (nearly) meet my original quoted price. So I accept so I dont risk receiving a phone that they would have to scratch themselves

Very slow service . Gave a lower price than originally offered and not for a valid reason. Still over a week and no payment .

I was offered £11 for my phone, then once you had received it you offered me just £9.35! Wear are tear you said. Of course it had wear and tear, it's an old phone!

I thought my smart phone was in good nick having a screen protector and case on it right from the start. Price reduced due to screen scratches it reported back this was in fact not the case. All pointed to a standard reply to reduce the expected amount as originally quoted.

TOLD ME MY PHONE WAS FAULTY AND ONLY PAID ME £5.00, PHONED TO COMPLAIN AND THEY WOULDN'T SEND ME MY PHONE BACK HAVE CONTACTED TRADING STANDARDS RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!!!!!!!! STAFF ARE RUDE AND UNHELPFULL

Before i sold my phone i checked out lots of these phone sites who will buy your phone i would email them to ask them if they will deduct a payment for things that your phone may have for example if it is locked to a network like 02 / Orange / Tmobile / Vodafone etc etc they don't all tell you they deduct until they have your phone.

I sent a Galaxy S3 i9300 which was near perfect condition and was offered in it's actual state £251.00 but when they got their hands on it it became worth £226.00 then after some debate i settled for £238.42
None of these websites will give you what you are actually offered so be prepared to be disappointed with what they offer you. this is wrong and these websites who do these things should clearly state what they do accept and what they do not. i would recommend this website but would also tell them that they just like the rest are "RIP OFF MERCHANTS" and believe me when someone offers you a fixed price for a phone and reduce it because they have your handset in their possession is THEFT. they should all be made to return the handsets free post if they do not give you the price they stated. this website does return for free but because i was fed up with all the hassle with CASH MY FONE and having to resend it to another buyer. once again the rip off merchant won. READ THE SMALL PRINT JUST TO TOP IT OFF 3 DAYS AFTER AGREEING SALE NO CASH IN BANK..THAT'S RIGHT 3 DAYS. IT TAKES ME 2.HRS TO TRANSFER CASH.

Went with cashmyfone coz they offered the best deal for my phone & cash back. Process up to sending it off went smoothly, good contact by email, bag to free-post it in etc.
Once received got an email saying phone was not in good enough condition and knocking money off. No explanation of what was wrong with phone -I think it was in excellent condition!
So service ok, but disappointed with end result. Could have asked for phone back, but honestly did not want to wait til they sent it back and then start again.

Will use some-one else for my husband's phone.

Thought I'd try this company after looking on Google how to recycle my old phone it was fully working but had bit of erosion on the frame in lost 15% but still good price after sending three emails I finally got acknowledgment so if your in a rush for money don't use these

Took a lot longer than stated on web, two weeks to get money. And they knocked price down by £30 saying phone was scratched, when it was in absolute perfect condition.
