Vandaag heb ik contact opgenomen met het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek omdat er gisteravond een vrouw aan de deur stond die zei dat ze “van het CBS” was.

Ze vroeg naar mijn huisgenoot, alleen de manier waarop dit gebeurde, voelde zó vaag en onprofessioneel dat ik er oprecht van schrok. Mevrouw stelde zichzelf niet voor, noemde geen naam, legitimeerde zichzelf niet en geen specifiek onderzoek en gaf geen duidelijke uitleg. Op mijn vraag wie zij was, antwoordde zij slechts: “Van het CBS, ik heb een aantal vragen.”

Omdat er geen duidelijke aankondiging bekend was, dacht ik serieus dat het om een scam of social engineering ging. Dat gevoel werd versterkt door het feit dat zij aangaf “later terug te komen als mijn huisgenoot er wel was.”

Na telefonisch contact met het CBS bleek dat er inderdaad brieven waren verstuurd (twee in november en één in december). Deze heb ik waarschijnlijk onbedoeld als reclamepost beschouwd en daarom gemist. Dat neem ik uiteraard mee.

Maar:
De manier waarop een medewerker zich aan de deur presenteert is cruciaal voor vertrouwen. In deze tijd van oplichting en nep-instanties mag je verwachten dat een officiële organisatie zich duidelijk, professioneel en volledig identificeert bij een huisbezoek.

Deze ervaring zorgde voor onnodige onrust en wantrouwen, terwijl dat eenvoudig voorkomen had kunnen worden met een correcte introductie en transparante communicatie.

Een organisatie als het CBS zou zich bewust moeten worden van de huidige maatschappelijke context waarin mensen extra alert zijn op fraude.

Hopelijk wordt hier intern aandacht aan besteed.

I saw the report about New York's new tunnel project and CBS news quoted something called "Punchbowl news" ?? Saying that Trump said he would restore funding if they promised to change the tunnels name to commemorate Trump.
How can they even hold their heads up after such a childish misdirection ?

What even happened to impartial reporting where they would simply report both sides of the story instead of making it an editorial piece?

We are not interested in the news agency's opinion, we just want fair reporting.

i bought a product shown on cbs morning show deals segment that was a scam. They have no idea about the quality of a product or if a company they are selling from is legit. Don't waste money or a day of time trying to get money back from a fraudulent company.

I placed a CBS deal with Laura Geller Cosmetics. After they processed it and shipped it, they notified me that they were out of stock on an item, so they issued a refund. Annoying, but OK. The order was missing mascara when it arrived, and I was told that it must have been out of stock as well. another refund. The lipstick smelled terrible. The smell that happens when lipstick is long past its expiration date. When I tried to return it, the refund was 25% less than I paid. Eventually got the refund, but this is typical of CBS deals. I will never order through CBS deals again, or Laura Geller.

We have been NCIS fans for years. We have trusted CBS for decades. As for NCIS, Gibbs would not abide the fascist slant CBS has taken. As for the news, it is so fascist we no longer trust it. Walter Cronkite is rolling in his grave.

Won't be watching this network any longer!

I truly enjoy Beyond the Gates! It is the Bomb. Com! Love it! Addicted to it!! Characters storylines plots, All got my attention! I look forward to seeing it every day! Go CBS!

Presidential broadcast interruptions are common and lately… very irritating! ABC was considerate enough to address the issue with their viewers and rescheduled certain popular programming. Not CBS! I don’t know why I expected more from weak and ineffective leadership. The public has choices now and customers still matter…even more than want-to-be “Kings”!

Absolute scam rip off. These garbage morning show junk dealers are the worst of the worst and should be illegal. They will charge you a 2000 percent markup on aproduct it cost a nickel to produce and then proceed to send you whatever they have in stock they need to get rid of.

I have watched CBS Evening News for years. It’s been my favorite newscast out of all the major networks. Each change of anchor has disrupted the flow of the program and the viewership. The latest change of anchor to Tony Dukoupil and the new format is horrible. I no longer watch your newscast. It feels like a promo for his agenda rather than reporting actual world news. So disappointing. Go back to the basics. You had it right before this change.

I ordered the Rush Chargers,four of be exact. They came in a decent time but 3 of them did not have the charging cords, one did. When I tried to get them to send the other 3 cords they stated I would have to get an exchange. I'm not about to spend more money returning them because they made a mistake. So I explained that I would get my own cords and would never ever order anything else from them.

What a pathetic broadcasting company. Your current failures will echo for years to come. If you want fabricated news... News where the actual story isn't told... Here you are.

There are a multitude of videos of the Renee Good murder. From all different angles.

If he suffered any contact, at all, it was barely a bump, nowhere near the force required to create internal bleeding.

Yet, CBS is groveling to the trump administration and toeing the line. Reporting that the killer had to be treated and was just released from the hospital.

CBS, we all saw the video. That 'officer' practically ran away from the scene. Later he had the strength to pack up his house and family and flee under the protection of an ICE caravan.

He wasn't injured, are you seriously going to try and gaslight us and tell us we didn't see what we saw? This isn't journalism, this is fox entertainment 'news' 2.0.

As if this administration needs another shill.

CBS is taking a leak down our backs and trying to tell us it's raining.

Next they will be trying to sell us umbrellas.

I’m an engineer who grew up in the Midwest with CBS News, 60 Minutes, etc. I was born there and I am a retired male. You’ve lost me big time with your move to state propaganda. If you lost me, then you have so lost the plot.

I have watched CBS news for 30 years. But now that you are a division of the Trump Administration and only report on what he wants you to, it’s my last straw. I used to really appreciate the honesty from the reporters, but watching Tony De Trump stoke a pedofiles ego is disgustingly biased. I hope CBS fails miserably after this travesty of reporting. Good by CBS News, or better yet, Trump News. You will never grace my tv again.

I purchased a product on August 15 2025 through CBS Deals.  Purchase Price $300

This product was advertised on CBS TV with a 6 month return policy.  Its been less than 5 months and I have not seen any results with the product. I attempted to return this through the CBS site and was notified that the return time frame expired on Nov 17 2025. That is not 6 months that's only 3 months. 

This advertising technic by CBS/Knocking is not only disappointing and frustrating but is clearly unfair and misleading.

Help at cbsdeals.com was of no help.  They passed the buck to the manufacture of the product because they say its the manufacture 6 month return policy not CBS Deals.  I purchased the product after watching CBS Deals on TV where they clearly stated there was a 6 month no questions asked return policy with no mention of the manufacture.

Upon contacting the manufacture they advised that the purchase was made through CBS Deals so they had no way to refund me.  They referred me back to CBS Deals/Knocking for the return and refund. I contacted Knocking with no return reply

Large enterprises like CBS and Knocking pointing the finger at each other over a $300 return on a product that was clearly advertised on CBS TV with a six month return policy no questions asked is completely shameful and borders on fraudulent behavior.

I used to watch CBS news especially Nora Odonnell nightly religiously. I am disappointed with how the format of reporting is not really news. I also find that the news is repetitive. I like Tony D , he has a lot of energy, however news should be more objective and less politically favoring. I was surprised when he saluted Kristy Noem despite all the ICE controversy occurring nationally. This is kind of hypocritical. I find daily news is repetitive and I turn to NBC for the latest local news . Sorry .
