Chancellors - Kidlington Avis 

This review relates specifically to Chancellors Lettings and to the work of Kayleigh Hearn. Kayleigh has been responsible for finding tenants for our property over a number of years. I have always been impressed by the trouble she has taken and by the energy and efficiency with which she has found suitable tenants for the property.

So far so good… I am writing a review as I am about to sign a tenancy agreement. So this review is based on our experience so far. The agent we have been communicating with is Kayleigh and she is very impressive, if she runs the rest of Chancellors then I’ve no worries about the next 12 months! She is incredibly efficient, great communication and 10 steps ahead of every other agent we have encountered.

It was absolutely amazing how fast I got feedback on the progress of my application to rent a property from Chancellors-Kidlington Estate Agents.

This was quite contrary to what I've heard from friends on how difficult it is to rent from a big agency like Chancellors.

I must give credit to Kayleigh H. Marla, she displayed a remarkable professionalism which made my experience in renting a property hitch-free.

Kayleigh and Shai are both highly professional and experienced. Kayleigh provided us the customized property information, unlike some other agents who keep marketing us the properties not suitable for us at all even they recorded our personal needs. Kayleigh is customer-focused, following up every step of the rental process. Shai is quite organized. The viewings of the property were always effectively and efficiently arranged. Shai always answer our questions patiently and transparently. Thank you very much for both of you!

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this agency, but my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. My wife, two toddlers, and I were left homeless twice due to their incompetence and utter lack of care. We signed a contract twice after being approved for a house, with all references verified and everything looking great. Yet, when it came time to actually move in, things went downhill fast.

The first time, the landlord was completely unresponsive, and when they finally did get back to us, they informed us at the last minute that we couldn't move in because the property needed fixing—something we had already agreed on weeks earlier. We were left scrambling, no place to go, and no support from them.

Then, after waiting for another week, they gave us another false hope, only to pull the rug out from under us once again. They claimed an advisor told them to go through with the move-in process, but still couldn’t finalize anything. This was nothing but a series of delays, lies, and zero transparency from start to finish.

To make matters worse, they tried to take our first month’s rent despite all this chaos. They're holding on to our money and acting as if it's no big deal. This is not only unethical; it's completely inhumane. They knew our situation, they knew we were relying on them to provide us with a home, and they failed us at every turn.

We’re now left with no home, no answers, and we’ll be taking them to court for the way we’ve been treated. Avoid this agency at all costs if you value your time, money, and dignity.

What a bunch of cowboys!!! Please do yourself a favour and never ever use these!! They lied from beginning to end and even asked me to lie on the application!!! Bunch of kids who don’t know how to conduct a business transaction! For a whole month they kept asking for more information which was provided! And at the last day before I was meant to move into rental property they said we now want a guarantor!!! They then took money from my account before telling me so saying I pulled out the deal!! PLEASE Do NOT USE!!!! WARNING!!!!!!

Isabelle was efficient and attentive and in conversation did not use the normal estate agent jargon but eplained her points clearly and succinctly.

Isabelle Rolston acted for me in the proposed sale of my rental property taking over from another member of staff who frankly had mismanaged my proposed sale. From the start, I found Isabelle very helpful and importantly she kept me informed of viewings and buyers feedback. She quickly confirmed my view that the original marketing price had been totally at odds with market prices. Her progress reports were very reassuring. At such time as I consider re marketing my property, I would like Isabelle to represent me.

Chancellors have rented our property out over several years. Generally they are good but I have had a few occasions where I have received poor service, (mainly communication or lack of it! )
If only other team members offered the same level os service as Kayleigh Hearn who is always polite, communicative and professional at all times then I would have given 5 stars.
