A little bit of extra helping the form of good discounts on items we need is great. It can mean the difference between having a new raincoat or managing with a leaky one and we live in a wet country.

No access to ODE card for long-term, or any, Charity volunteers
This is a wonderful and unexpected reward for longstanding voluntary work which we would both do in any event. It arose while I work continued throughout Covid.
Disappointment is that we cannot get the ODE card without an official charity email address. As volunteers, we do not have this for Trussell Trust, which is normal and understandable. But it means the biggest benefit from the charityworkers website is not open to us.

A current / valid work email address is required to register for the ode cashback card, this is needed to prove that our members work with the industry they are registering with.
Please note that we are working hard to introduce other methods of validation so more members can take advantage of the ode cashback card soon, make sure you are signed up to our newsletters to find out more when this changes.

Card does not work
I purchased a card several months ago & activated it as instructed but haven’t been able to use it either in store or online…frustrating. I need to phone (office hours only) to sort it out but haven’t had time. Despite the promises, cash back etc. has failed to deliver.

Ridiculous and useless I had this card and was using it daily…
I had this card and was using it daily for about 6-8 months and really appreciated the ease and convenience and money saving. Then one day while in the supermarket I tried to top up my balance prior to paying which was a regular thing and it would not top up from my bank account. Trying to get hold of anyone to discuss this from the charity worker card (ODE) organisation proved incredibly difficult and then when I did finally have a conversation they said I needed to contact my bank as they must have changed something because the details ode held were different to my details. Nothing had changed at all from the previous day and when I contacted my bank they agreed nothing had changed and that there was nothing they could do as the issue was clearly with the card. So back to the charity worker card people who said I should change my bank account. What absolute nonsense and totally impractical. I cannot transfer my own money across now to enable me to use the card so it renders it useless; it is absolutely ridiculous and I am losing out on discounts at a time when I can ill afford to.

Most advertisers require a work e-mail. I volunteer for two registered charities, but do not have a work e-mail address for either of these businesses. I can't therefore access your offers, and feel very frustrated. Can you help with this please?
