Very poor telephone service especially…

Very poor telephone service especially when placing telephone trades in the US which I'm sure compared with other brokers is quite expensive. It would have been better if the online help (Callum?) had given me the appropriate number rather than the general telephone number to call.

They can be reached directly, but often such calls are first placed to the Helpdesk and then transferred to the dealers. Communication failure

A fund I hold was due to be merged with another but Charles Stanley failed to inform me. I discovered it myself and was too late to do anything about it. I had to embarrass an apology out of them.

Live chat is available on business days between 9:30am and 4:30pm but we do our best to pick up queries that arrive out of these hours as promptly as possible the next working day and most clients usually have a response by 10am (sometimes a little later on a Monday morning given weekend volumes)!
