Excellent service

I bought my Kia Picanto from Clarks on 19th November 2021 and found the service excellent. The sales person was Roger Harold, he was very attentive, listened to what I wanted and tried to accomodate.
He was not pushy at all, like some of the other dealerships.

This is the first time I have been to Clarks and I will definitely go back when I want to change the vehicle again.

Amazing customer service!

Roger Harold. What an absolute legend! Nothing was too much trouble, he understood that there was two people looking at potential cars, and nothing was ever a problem. He understood that we had very different needs and wants from cars and found us both our ideal cars. We only went in to have a look, but Roger listened to everything we had to say and took it all on board, nothing was ever an issue. It was the most positive experience I've ever had buying a car, there was never any pressure and we felt like we could walk away at any time if we wanted. Also, his sense of humour was also en pointe on both test drives. Next time I need a new car I'd definitely be back to see Roger again, and I'll be recommending to friends too. Compared to other dealers, Clarks of Kidderminster and especially Roger is head and shoulders above the rest.
Can't wait to get my new car!

Review on Clarks Kidderminster car sales

From arriving to see a friendly face, Andrew Tildesley, collecting my Kia Sportage after a scheduled service, both my wife and myself left with a new car!

Most unexpected as I had no intention of changing my car, but after an excellent offer made by Andrew to buy back my Sportage, it was a NO BRAINER.

Andrew took the time to discuss my usage of a car, number of miles travelled, number of journeys etc, he then discussed options that was available to me for my needs of a car.

Andrew pointed out the car that would best suit my needs was the Kia Niro Connect Hybrid PHEV. This gave me the best of both worlds, Electric and Fuel Power.

Not knowing anything about electric cars, Andrew patiently went through in great detail, the function of charging the car, to the specifications of the car. All questions, no matter how trivial I felt they were, Andrew answered with great patience and believe me he needed it. Having answered all my questions, I was really impressed. On his business card it says Kia Genius. This he certainly is.

Having dealt with Andrew before, I have found that he is always totally professional but friendly in his approach, nothing is too much trouble, arranging a test drive, sorting out paper work etc. and answering questions days/weeks after the sale is done.

At no time during our meeting did I feel pressure to bu.y, but he convinced me that the exceptional offer on my Kia Sportage was too good to miss and that the right car for me was the Kia Niro Connect Hybrid PHEV. A big thank you Andrew greatly appreciated.

This is the second new car i’ve purchased from Clarks and If you want a friendly no pressure service, I highly recommend Clarks, and ask for Andrew Tildesley, an exceptional sales person, it was a pleasure to do business with you again.

Car was booked in for a recall date was…

Car was booked in for a recall date was agreed 2 weeks before hand. Should have taken 1/2 day to complete. After 2 days tried to contact using the switchboard and after about 1 hour someone answers to say it might be ready for the end of the day. Turned up at agreed time and car not ready also couldn't find any paperwork. What an absolute joke. The MD should look at how the company is not being run to its most efficient and profitable standards

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service, broke down in Wales and requested a call back at 12 midday as per AA mechanic for some advice, finally got a call back at 5.25pm to say sorry not much I can do at the moment as I’m due to go home in 5 mins! No help whatsoever this was a chap called STUART don’t not use this garage as soon as they have your money or are not going to make a penny they are not interested! The citreon garage by the viaduct pub however can’t help you enough the Kia garage let’s them down massively with shocking and disgusting customer service ! They won’t be getting another penny out of me !

Diabolical after sales service car not fit for purpose

Bought a KIA Sportage in Dec 2019 - have had nothing but
trouble - car was returned due to 8 issues, including brakes, tyres, filters, tracking and alignment, air condenser - to name a few.

Clarks had the car back and advised everything had been rectified.
However, there are still some issues as there is a noticeable noise which I believe is coming from the engine.

Despite many attempts to speak to someone at the dealership
about this I have been frustrated by their lack of customer service, and failure to engage with me on many occasions. I spoke to
someone last week and was assured that someone would call me back - I am still waiting for that call - shocking customer service and complete contempt for customers - seems once they have had your money they are not interested in resolving any issues. I have been advised that the car should never have been sold in that state - suggests that no pre sale checks are being carried out.

I now have to take advice on my next course of action - just be careful if you choose to buy a vehicle from this company - sadly this whole experience has taken the shine off my new car purchase ... it seems that the KIA dealer network in general is not that good when it comes to after sales support for their customers.
