The CM Elite group is a good broker, even though commissions are a bit higher than I expected, but the direct market access using DAS trader platform worth it.
I was not successful in trading with CM Elite Group, but it was all my mistakes, I didn't loss even a penny due to technical or network issues.
I'd recommend the broker for experienced traders who know exactly how to use direct market access and how to manage risks.

Capital Markets Elite Group is a great offshore broker to use if you don't want to deal with the PDT rule and still want the leverage to trade on par with your personal risk tolerance. The trade executions are fast (LMT and MKT especially) and the customer support always replied within a couple of hours. Me, being from the EU, would highly recommend this broker if you have a smaller bankroll but still want to daytrade USA stocks.

Great customer service, no issues thus far. The only issue is the spreads are big at night. I love the fact that I can trade almost any pair/commodity and it fits my style of trading.

CMEG, for the most part, is an excellent broker, which I use for day trading small cap stocks. Executions are quick, orders are always filled and when coupled with sterling trader pro, you have the option to create hot keys for even quicker order executions. The fees and commissions are fair given the broker allows you to execute orders almost instantaneously. Customer support is very good, as I receive responses to my queries quickly. One downside to CMEG is that small cap stocks gapping up quickly can sometimes be not tradable and orders are rejected, which can be frustrating especially when trading momentum, though this does only occur occasionally. Overall, CMEG is a very good broker and I would highly recommend it to day traders.

Unable to exit my long position on UVXY due to an internal error - ended up having position liquidated. Not happy.

Great platform for daytrading at fast speeds. Haven’t had any issues worth mentioning and customer service responds as quickly as you can expect from an off-shore company.
The customer portal and onboarding process could use some love and additional features, but the trading experience is good.
Great option if you want to avoid PDT.

Cmeg is the best broker for beginner traders in my opinion and i am glad i chose them!

Capital Markets Elite Group bled money from my account by using a strategy similar to 'stop-hunting'. When traders put stops in their trade-orders to mitagate possible losses, CMEG deliberately alters the stock price to take out your stop-loss. That means that you always lose money when you enter a trade with CMEG. You can't make sufficient profit using CMEG because they will bleed your account dry. They expect you to deposit more money so they can bleed out your account over and over again.

Very poor experiences with CMEG. The only advantage is that if you want to day trade you can do so for well under the $25k PDT threshold. The disadvantage is that because many of their customers have small accounts they know/assume that those customers don’t have other broker options and therefore don’t have to have high standards of service.

Over the course of 3 months using CMEG, I found the platform to be unreliable, often not being able to trade momentum stocks, with service reps that were slow to respond and quick to blame someone else. It was a time consuming struggle getting money in and out of the account, and the fees to do so are higher than they need to be.

Subpar broker. If you have other options, use them. If not, set your expectations low and know what you’re getting into.

This is a good broker for day trading if you have a large account and take very few trades a day.

For new traders that take many day trades or for small accounts I would not recommend this platform due to the EXPENSIVE COMMISSIONS that will end up eating up all your profits and even taking you into the red.

Conclusion: Small accounts and new traders should find an alternative, another off shore broker or open an account over the PDT rule.

CMEG actively trades against their clients with certain stocks. Have been trading with them for 9 months. DAS platform is excellent, no complaints. However, the broker has algorithms built into their system that detects your orders and creates an opposite spike in the price, creating instant losses for you. I didn't want to believe this at first, thinking it's not possible that MY ORDERS could affect the stock price, really, that's madness. But after repeated & persistent incidences of instant price reversals on my entries, continuously bleeding my account, for 9 months, I have had to accept that something is not right with CMEG. It doesn't happen with the simulator, and using the sim account to cautiously 'pre-check' a stock for safety of entry, when I switch to the live account, immediately that pattern of price reversals occurs again & again. The only time I was able to make any profit was right at market open when other customers would flood the orders, making it more difficult to manipulate the stock price - but trading the market open is a lot of hard work. As soon as the volume slows down, the instant price reversals kick in and my profits are gone, plus more. You have 2-3 seconds for the algorithms to pick up your order and it trades against you. CMEG, I hope you get caught soon for your dirty practises!!

Was referred by a colleague to check this company out. She swears by them. Well, I have no regrets to date and can't thank her enough! The CAP it ALL platform is impressive. It's intuitive, very responsive and customisable. Glad I made the switch. I can float and relax now, no longer need to swim.

Great customer service, competitive pricing and multiple trading platforms to choose from. Have been with them with a while, had an issue and it was resolved quickly. A+

I have read many reviews online including the tradingschools.org review on Trustpilot before signing up with Capital Markets Elite Group. I have confirmed that they are registered in Trinidad but are also registered in the UK and Cayman Islands. This confirms they speak fluent English and Spanish unlike what some other reviews claimed. They have no claim to fame anywhere about breaking any PDT rules. They are simply an offshore broker as far as anyone from the US is concerned. Traders who are from the US and do not have $25,000 USD to trade with a US broker can signup with any offshore broker. Capital Markets' website blocks and warns US visitors, I tried it while using my VPN. I also cannot find anywhere online where the company claims that all investors are insured with SIPC insurance up to $500k. That is simply not possible as they are not regulated by the SEC or Finra so cannot offer SIPC insurance. However if you do signup at cmelitegroup.co.uk, (used my VPN again) you do have insurance protection there.
Capital Markets Elite Group offers only stocks, Etfs and Forex, so their statement is patently untrue of their other offerings. It was a really unfair review and I hope they take legal action against them.
TradingSchools.org has never filed any whistleblower complaints against the company, I searched online as well. And it's not the first broker I've seen them rate negatively. They probably charge people to take down their fake review. Beware of unfair ratings. These guys look very OK to me and have been treating me well so far.
