Colour 2 Glass Splashbacks Avis 

An excellent product which looks great in my kitchen. Lexi phoned me to explain the process (as I had sent the wrong photo format) She was very helpful and cropped my picture to make a beautiful splashback. The production was prompt, the packaging was very robust and delivery was in no time at all. Definitely a five star service.

I ordered a bespoke glass splashback which shattered explosively in my hands during careful installation — no impact, no drop, no undue force. Glass fragments went everywhere. I was fortunate to be wearing glasses at the time, or I could have suffered a serious eye injury.

When I contacted Colour 2 Glass, I was told the damage occurred "whilst the splashback was in your care" and was offered a replacement at £150 as a gesture of goodwill. No acknowledgement of the safety risk, no investigation into whether the glass met the BS EN 12150 standard they claim it is produced to.

I wrote a formal letter citing the Consumer Rights Act 2015, their own 2-year manufacturing defect guarantee, and the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. I have received no response, in fact I have been totally ignored.

I would encourage anyone considering a purchase from this company to be aware of my experience, as it has turned out to be an expensive waste of time and money.

We formally rejected the offer on 20.05.2026 and feel if “the slightest tap” your words, on the wrong spot can make it explode this isn’t a product that should be sold as “can be installed be yourself” as an option. You need to amend your sales pitch

Wow this company is fantastic!
My mother wanted a bespoke design for a splashback for her kitchen. After looking at 100s of pictures, she found the perfect one if only it could be trimmed down and a border added.

Lexi was amazing and within 10 minutes she had customised the picture to Mum's exact design.

Then Lexi helped us with the bespoke measurements, noting that it was to be fitted in a recessed space with no room for error.

Ordered placed, we then received the product within the agreed timeline and on an agreed delivery date.

The driver was brilliant and the whole delivery service was stress free.

Then came the moment of truth, would it fit and would it stay stuck to the wall (we chose the glue option rather than screws).

With the whole family watching, the splashback was placed in position. Da da, it fitted perfectly and looks very original and classy.

Truly this company provided a one of a kind, high quality splashback that was based on our unique measurements.
