Farcical

Ordered item. 3-5 days delivery. Chased 2 weeks later. Was told it was my fault I ordered an out of stock item even though their site does not permit this. Asked to cancel. They said item was now in stock. Asked to cancel anyway and promised refund in 3-5 days. No refund. Chased. Promised refund. Again, no refund. PayPal dispute opened. No reply there. Got a despatch email (although nothing was actually sent)! Refunded by PayPal. Avoid. I certainly will.

Package not Sent

Package not arrived on time. chased after 2 weeks, and told out of stock. website allowed me to order and received an email stating 5 working days. Yet parts were never in stock. No one had contacted to highlight their stocking mistake.
When contacting them, they just kept stating I would receive within 7-10 working days from order (even though passed this time). now having to wait for refund, wish I would have ordered else where now. massive regret!

Good luck getting a refund from them for a defective item without them dragging their feet.

I have sent the item back and days after they received the item back, they issued a second invoice for a PayPal chargeback (because I opened a PayPal case) instead of a refund!

They ship very quickly though and with DHL. And CS does respond to your calls/emails. But they pretend you didn't ask for the return/refund and say they'll forward your concerns to the manufacturer and come back to you. I had to say "That's not what I requested." before they arranged a collection.

Faulty PoE unit

I ordered a Unifi AC Mesh access point for my home network to complement the other APs I already have. After installing the item, I found that the PoE unit was faulty. Luckily, due to the number of Unifi APs I have, I always carry a spare so tested the new Ap with the spare PoE and it worked fine. I got back in touch with Comms Express and explained the situation but they insisted I send them the unit serial number so that they could raise the concern with Ubiquiti, the AP makers. Considering I purchased the item on the 07-Feb (it is now the 27th), If I didn't have a spare PoE, I would be without a functional AP unit. This is a poor reflection on Comms Express given the low commercial value of the PoE (around £18). What they should have done is replaced the unit and asked for the defective unit returned so that they could follow up with Ubiquiti as an internal matter. Very disappointed and will opt not to use them in future because of this.

Great prices, but awful and illegal returns policy

Purchased a Wenger backpack online. Great price and swift delivery. On arrival, I noticed that the bag didn’t have a front pocket (my fault), so I contacted CE customer service. They chose to insist that I return the bag within 7 days, and that the bag and packaging must not be opened, all of which contravenes UK consumer law. And, if I didn’t sign up to this, they wouldnt refund me! I didn’t sign up, told them I wouldn’t and returned the bag within 3 working days. I provided proof of delivery (Royal Mail) and then had no reply. Submitted a PayPal claim and was immediately refunded by PayPal.
If you want great prices, CE are the place to buy. If you want great customer service that abides by UK consumer law, look elsewhere.

Excellent Service

Excellend service. The webiste was easy to navigate and the prices were very competitive.
Delivery came within the a few days with everything acounted for. We will definelty use them again.

I was expecting more from the customer…

I was expecting more from the customer support. I brought a product which come without a power lead cable and either I need to buy additional one or to ask them what is going on, I call and asked them instead of resolve the issue for 5 minutes and just send me one power lead cable so I can connect it, they start asking me for pictures ( which I provide) asking their technical teams, and put me to wait for an answer with promises that someone will send me emails today Friday''' Guys if you want to keep the high rating and have an extraordinary customer support things like that should be resolved straight away. I just ask for 1 power lead costing what ? £7.50 or maybe £9.00, I didn't ask for refund I didn't ask for compensation, I don't want to send the item back.

ordered a EPOS 1001006 ADAPT and…

ordered a EPOS 1001006 ADAPT and received a shipping confirmation on same evening, 2 weeks later and still no item, called and was advised oh there has been a delay and they could not ship the order and will ship tomorrow. what the hell why was i not informed of delay?
took my money and never shipped the item.
also the CS rep was rude she cut the call when advised that i want refund this is not good enough. very rude and un supportive, would NOT recommend

Large volume order

Purchased 40 network switches; within one week the price was agreed and all units were delivered to 40 separate addresses. Excellent communication and organisation throughout from Eddie and Hayley at Comms Express.

Reasonably priced, delivery very slow. Technical problem with the piece of kit purchased, still awaiting a reply. Not overly impressed. STILL AWAITING A REPLY

Well this rating should be less than 1 star as I still not recieved my SD card? , or a refund? Or even an explanation for my purchase is made on the 31st October and this now the 17th November?????

Missing SFPs and they blame us

Lately I've ordered few cables and SFPs from them, the order was forgotten for few weeks when eventually I contacted for an update and they said they will get back later in the day. As no call was received the day after I phoned them again, after put on hold I was told the items were back-ordered and they will let me know when dispatched. After few hours the order was notified as completed which was surprising because I was just told the items are awaiting the fulfilment. After reception we noticed the SFPs were missing. Asked Comms Express an investigation, after couple of weeks they confirmed both the order and the cameras shown the items being placed on the package. Lies!
The sealed envelope was not tampered when received and nobody would anyway steal 2x SFPs.
Horrible unreliable company and customer service experience.
