Food was delivered on time. Food itself was delicious and very well portioned. A little more expensive than a take away but you can see that quality ingredients were used

The taste of the Caribbean Chicken was excellent … however the packaging of the plastic container looked cheap and the sticker over the packaging needs to explicitly state what the ingredients are and not refer you to the web site. Who has time for that?!

no customer service with order wait for weeks
I ordered with Order ID: sH-fYzN and waited for a week. After 2 days when the food was not delivered, I enquired and then after another day of wait, I was said it was delivered to wrong address.
Then again, same menu is re-ordered and I am still waiting for next week delivery. The charges include 5£ for delivery and 1 extra for service. Seriously, what about the agony I suffered? Why should I even order from this site and wait so many weeks?
Online chat barely exists. They take hours to respond.

We do understand and share your disappointment at the first order not being delivered on time.
However, we are a bit surprised with your review as we have given you the best possible resolution and added a complimentary Biryani at no additional cost as well. As a small business we are reliant on DHL/Parcelforce to fulfil the delivery. In this instance, they have let both of us down.
Could we please request you to re-consider and at least try the food and use the service before leaving us a poor rating

I've tried food from multiple Chefs & cuisines now. Great concept, all delivered fine and the food is always delicious & authentic. Can't wait to order again.

1st order cancelled by site and…
1st order cancelled by site and reinstated for following week at higher charge, After using chat service apology received and order to be delivered FOC and was assured 0 problems would occur, when order eventually arrived the following week it was short of one of the dishes and the use by date for the meals were all the next day. Flavour of the food was very nice and good quality. A shame about the service.

Just to clarify:
- The order was cancelled by the chef due to unavoidable personal circumstances
- The higher charge for the replacement order was due to the discount code previously applied already on the 1st order. Our team compensated and in fact gave you a full refund on the order
- The missed out dish was an honest mistake by the home chef who has sent her apologies and offered to have it sent across at a later date
In any case, we’re sorry to hear that you didn’t have a good experience ordering from us. We will be in touch soon to see if there is anything we can do to help turn your experience around.

Ordered twice the first was cancelled…
Ordered twice the first was cancelled due to family emergency the gentleman could not cook. The second order arrived in a timely fashion but one of the containers broke and contents leaked into the cardboard box.Overall a very disappointing experience.

Tasty home cooked meals
Tasty home cooked meals. Arrived in a well packed cooler box. I like the concept of ordering from actual chefs than takeaways. We ordered a meal for 5 from Bengali chef Angshuman and it was well worth it.
