They were very quick with responses to questions and willing to help advise which cool box would be best for our needs. The box and cool packs arrived quickly. Initially I had a problem with the drain plugs not screwing in correctly but some spares were very quickly sent which worked. The box itself and the cool blocks worked really well. The best cool box I’ve ever owned! It kept cold throughout our camping holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic product super heavy duty and well made . Has cup holders and a heavy duty handle . They are abit on the heavy side but I can understand that this is due to the quality of the product and it is built to last .
Keeps drinks and food cold for over 24h with 3 standard freezer blocks

Great kit with lots of space and with the racks inside the unit it keeps items separate as you would assume! Very robust with the lid and securing catches!
I would love a long attachable handle to pull it without bending over!

This my second purchased ordered a smaller one for the micro camper stays cold for 5 days perfect. I would recommend these to anyone camping.

My experience of ordering from the company was faultless. The website works as intended, the delivery time was like lightening, the packaging more than suitable and the quality of the supplied product far exceeded expectations. I haven't tried the product yet, but based on build quality I do not expect any issues with it living up to the website claims. From my perspective the product certainly lives up to that claimed and I am surprised that that they do not appear to match their other, apparently far larger (online prescence) competitor, in terms of web-prescence as their products seem at least equal if not better. They were certainly not the first hit on Google when searching for passive cool boxes, and it was only persistant searching for information about such things that led me to Icey-Tek. Once found I thought 'What a find' esp. given their relative value for money vs. their big competitor (who I think are charging too much). Anyone looking for a rotomolded cooler with apparent exceptional performance would do a lot worse than to consider Icey-Tek.

If you take everything into account for the price in my opinion, these are the best cool boxes on the market. Yes they are not cheap! But with the right amount of blocks you get 5/7 days of chilled food. Depending on the outside temperature.

We bought the icey-tek-25-litre-cube box & 2 large iceytek freeze packs.
We used this for the first time over a 4 day camping trip it stayed frozen for 4 days!! It’s amazing. We pre chilled it the night before with iced milk bottles, we placed 1 pack at the bottom then placed in our food then filled up with loose ice cubes (1 large bag) then placed 2nd pack on top, it worked brilliantly. When the ice started to melt (after 4 days) just add more ice, but, DO NOT empty the water just add ice & the water will push up & out this will keep the box cold. We even had to leave our milk out because it kept freezing. We can’t rate this product any higher. If you carry out all the processes above you can’t go wrong.

Icey-Tek Cool Box review

I purchased the 56 Litre Long cool box in April 2025 together with 4 of the large gel ice packs.

The particular colour I wanted was out of stock at the time so it went onto back order but arrived well ahead of it’s scheduled delivery, so the order process and delivery were spot on.

I was really impressed with the quality of the product, but I did however struggle with one of the bungs that didn’t seem to want to screw in, I thought of reaching out to ask whether this could have been a fault in the thread but I sorted it by using a little washing up liquid to lubricate the screw.

The time came to test drive it. We were camping at an event and left home early on a Wednesday morning, I am very pleased to report that we still had ice cubes for our G&T’s on Saturday night ! (despite being in a tent and the weather being incredibly warm). We were confident that all our food was refrigerated rather than just cool.

I much preferred the long box to the smaller square box of “another brand” we borrowed last year, you don’t have to dig about so much looking for stuff so the box isn’t open for so long.

The Bungs at the side are a great way to get any water out of the box without actually opening it (of which there wasn’t much), but we did agree that next year we would maybe put some wire cooling racks in the bottom just to keep the packaging on some of the items drier, if you ever thought of maybe producing some sort of plastic arrangement to put in the bottom just enough to keep products directly off the base I would definitely purchase.

The only slight negative I could come up with was the rubber fastenings, the box was stored on the floor and I pinched myself several times trying to undo and do them up, I feel this wouldn’t have happened had it been on a table to allow for a better angle and I soon adapted my way of doing it, that being said I am notoriously cack handed so this might very well have been a me problem.

So all in all, having borrowed a cool box from “another brand” of which I was impressed I’m not going to lie, I decided to purchase one myself, after doing some research and mindful of my budget, I decided to go with the Icey-Tek keeping my fingers crossed that this wasn’t going to disappoint being a cheaper option and therefore not as good. I believe I purchased a better product for half the price.

My belief was such that, after a few G&T’s (with ice from my Icey-Tek), I braved wandering into the “other brand’s” trade stand wearing my free Icey-Tek base ball cap (all taken in good fun and I did purchase one of their water bottles).

Best cool box we've ever owned! I bought the 25 litre and have used it twice now. Firstly out on our boat got the day, it was sturdy, safe to stand on and kept food fresh and cool. Secondly I took it away on a 3 day break with my son. I bought 2 large ice packs and the food remained cool throughout and the ice packs were still frozen at the end of 3 days! Fits nicely in the boot of the car but very spacious inside. Easy to clean and looks good too. Excellent piece of kit and I'm even considering now buying the 18 litre for picnics and days out!
