Poor aftercare
Installation team were great but aftercare leaves a lot to be desired. Two weeks to sort out a major issue. Had to chase up a number of times as calls weren’t returned.

Order was.however did have somebody back from coral to adjust 2 of the doors.Now all good and the chap that did the adjustments was very knowledgeable.yes I would recommend Coral windows and would use them again.

Great windows as usual but felt hassled…
Great windows as usual but felt hassled by the company before installation.
One of the windows I had ordered needed scaffolding. As I already had scaffolding in place because I was having other work completed, I thought it would be a straightforward matter for Coral windows to use said scaffolding.
How wrong that proved to be. In the weeks before the installation of the window, I was repeatedly phoned to check whether the scaffolding had a safety tag attached. I repeatedly told the caller that the tag would be attached when the installation date came, however the calls kept coming.
On one occasion, when I had not picked up, the call was made from a different phone number, and again I told them the tag would be attached. I felt very disappointed that, as a very long-standing customer, I did not feel that the company trusted me. As a result, I won't be using Coral windows again.

Good morning, at coral ensuring the health and safety of our clients, our contractors and our employees is of the utmost importance to us as a conscientious business. We have customers ask us to use pre-existing scaffold reasonably often and we are unable to work on it if it doesn't have the correct certification, it has occurred on numerous occasions and customers have been very upset we cannot begin work as required so we have learned to ensure this is done prior. We are sorry that you felt we didn't trust you this was genuinely not our intention, but we just want to make sure everything runs smoothly. A member of our senior management will review the contacts to you over this period and be in contact to understand how you feel we could have done better with this. We are glad you love the windows though!

100% would recommend coral windows! After having an awful experience with safestyle uk with poor communication and a poorly installed/manufactured door. Coral windows have come out when they said they would, given me an installation date and turned up on the date given with everything to spec and installed the door to a very high standard. I didn’t catch the engineers name but he was fantastic and went above any beyond. Can’t fault the process at all. 5* well deserved!

Although there was a slight hiccup in the build-up to the purchase (was it a quote or an estimate) I found Coral's approach to be very measured and professional. I had nine sash windows fitted and the job lasted for three days. The fitting team were ultra-industrious working full days without breaks and were intent on delivering a top quality product. They were clean, tidy and left the rooms as they found them. No damage was caused to the surrounds of the windows and no re-wallpapering to carry out when they had finished.
Coral have a high rating with Which? and I can only add my recommendation to that. I received quotes from a fitting firm in Sheffield with which I was impressed but there was a £2000 difference in their quote. Similarly, Solarframe whose business premises are nearby quoted more than £15000 than Coral.
I was pleased that I had researched thoroughly before I spent my £11000 and I am well satisfied with the product and the installation process.

My daughter had all the windows and 2…
My daughter had all the windows and 2 comopsite doors and a patio door fitted .she had nothing but trouble composite doors leaking this was checked by an inspecter who poured 2 litres of water on the door out of a jug he then said no leaks showing but when it rains they do leak maybe he should of done more than use a jug of water .the badly fitted patio door wont open when the sun shines on it due to bowing.
The first patio door was replaced by coral because it was bowed
The new door has much the same problems plus got very little insulation in the cavity none at all on the top edge .
Coral say they dont know what they find untill they take the unit out with this been a replacement you would think that they would of sugested cavity closers but no .
They aranged an independant inspetion who found fault with the fitting low care an skill and this was proved in court
They also didnt fit cavity closers these should be fitted if you read building regs this is just a few of the problems .they came to try to fix the problems on multiple visits but never solved the problems of poor fitting
They say its due to conditions in the house i have since removed trims around windows and door and i was shocked to see how bad the expanding foam was very little in there none at all in some areas screws not into stone work and only into the cavity shocki g work from the fitters if you do use coral be sure to check before they stick the plastic trim around p.s coral say ive edited the review yes i did that is because in the report from the inspection they said the cavity wasnt sealed and could be a lot better and was lacking resonable care and skill this is why my daughter got compensation so she could get it fixed and to make it clear i havent lied and dont think is a fair thing to say

Good morning, this job has been seen by an independent assessor as the customer had claimed all her doors are leaking. The assessor has said that all the doors are fit correctly and that there are no leaks at all from any of them and that they were fit with good care and skill which the customer claimed they were not. They also said the patio door operates fine, it is fit correctly and so if the customer has issues opening it, then it is not caused by the door or the fitting.
We have been to the property multiple times and explained to the customer there is nothing we can do as there is no evidence of any leaks, this has been confirmed by the independent assessor. The customer has condensation issues throughout their property which are not related to the window and doors. The same independent assessor explained that below the patio door there is a void under the floor and no insulation in that cavity even though the customer has said they have had cavity wall insulation done. The assessor said, if we when we removed the door we had fit extra insulation then the condensation around this door specifically could be reduced, this would obviously not affect the issues in the rest of the house. There are several reasons why we and no other window company would do this, we only find these sort of things out once we remove the doors and windows, we would then have to stop the job tell the customer we could do this for them and it will cost more and cause a delay on their window fit which have already been removed, or we can make suggestions to the customer to how to rectify this issue to get an insulation specialist in following the fit, as there are clearly more issues with the insulation as the condensation is throughout the house.
With regard to the cavity closers, the independent assessor did not recommend these are required, as there are alternatives which had been done.
The customer has chosen to leave this review now approximately 6 years after the products were fit as they were not given compensation they were looking for (which was more than a full refund, which we refused) as the assessor found no issues with their doors, that they claimed were there, they did find that there were condensation issues, which are caused by poor cavity insulation. It is worth noting the customer edited their review after we replied and has lied saying the assessor found poor care and skill in the fitting when actually the customer specifically asked the assessor if the job was fit with good care and skill and he confirmed it was in reply, which is why they did not get the refund they requested. Coral had been explaining to the customer for years her issues were not caused by leaks but by condensation due to conditions within the house and walls and this was confirmed by the the findings of the assessor.
A Tale of Four Visits
Four visits to fit one set of patio doors and two windows - all straight replacements - was disappointing to say the least. Wrongly measured patio doors, plus two breakages of glass, did not give an impression of competence.

Excellent after sales servi
It’s good to know there are companies out there with excellent after sales service. 3 years ago I had a new door fitted by Coral windows. The door has dropped slightly and is catching when locking. I sent Coral an email at 6am describing the issue. At 10am I received a phone call to say a fitter would come and adjust the door. Well done Coral Windows!
