I tore my tires on a jagged rock having misjudged a turn and Justin was so kind when he collected me. He was sympathetic and calm and he drove very well down some tricky single tracks - we even met a closed road at one point and I was useless at directing him! He even allowed me to swap with my husband so I could look after the sleeping children and hubby could unlock the workshop for the busted car. Live saver!

My M2 Competition was recovered by Justin from Cotswold Vehicle Recovery in the early hours of Tuesday morning after I'd hit a badger, causing a severe oil leak from the oil cooler. I was very nervous about how a recovery firm may handle my car, and the issues associated with getting it out of park, but his care and attention for my car was amazing. I can't think of a bad word to say, or anything that could have been done better. Thanks again, Justin and Cotswold Vehicle Recovery!

Car lost power and left me stranded in a rural area at night. AA organised Cotswold Vehicle Recovery who where there an hour earlier than expected - unfortunately AA hadn't given full details so CVR had to send a bigger vehicle with Paul, who even though was on his way home when he got the call was with us within an hour and gave us helpful advice on what the problem might be. Can't fault the service!

Lost power when coming back from work on a quiet lane. Managed to get a lift home because I was told there would be at least a two hour wait. Got dropped off at home by a passing neighbour and as he left I got a call from Alex saying he’d be with me in 26 minutes. He was very thorough and arranged with my insurance company to delivery my car to my nominated garage and then dropped my off to borrow my daughters car. He went above and beyond to make sure I was safe at all times. Lovely chap and very professional. Can’t recommend this company highly enough

Excellent service from Elliot who picked me up in the middle of nowhere despite having to go round in circles to find me. Arrived in an hour and their Customer service kept me informed and helped me to help them locate me. Would recommend

As outlined by a previous reviewer - the service from the RAC was beyond poor. I was stranded at 1am on a busy A road and they wouldn't help me. The best they said they could do was call recovery but it took them 4 hours to find a company that could help.
I was rescued by Justin who was AMAZING. He identified it was too dangerous to tow me away due to the high volume of traffic, particularly lorries, he called the police and got them to corden off the road so that I would be safe. He was polite, helpful and got me to where I needed to go. He restored my faith in humanity compared to the RAC who didn't care that I was a single female stranded in the middle of the night on a dangerous road.

Hi, we unfortunatley broke down xmas night on the A420, service we recieved was outstanding.
Professional , polite and friendly, challenging circumstances the recovery driver dealt with superbly, unfortunatly we didnt get his name, but through your records im sure you will see who attended that night.
Very prompt given was absolutly freezing that evening.

Do not use this company. They misled me about their arrival time, and after paying, I had to wait almost four hours—far longer than their 1.5-hour estimate. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I would choose.

Has to call my insurance cover break down service on a Saturday, my reliable van decided not to start, which caused the battery to become drained. CVR (Swindon) arrived within specified time Craig who was the operator was very professional, courteous and friendly, got me jump started, without any issues, what me and my wife really appreciated was he stayed with us for short time to make sure everything was all OK, superb service and quick from additional first call, Craig is a credit to the company and an excellent overall service provided.
A mention to the location service on the link during the recovery is an excellent touch.

Jamie was quick to come out and help me remove my car off the M4 and helped solve the problem of my broken wind screen wiper. great service and friendly staff.

Despite the RAC keeping me waiting for over 6 hours when my bike broke down. They then send out another company, thankfully in this instance it was CVR and Joe, who was the only saving grace to a bad experience. Joe is an absolute star, and couldn’t be more helpful. He took so much care loading my beloved bike. Joe is a credit to himself, and to CVR.. as for the RAC, well they can kiss my balloon knot. I will be requesting my £40 access back, and cancelling my membership. I paid for a whole year, and they are the biggest clowns I’ve ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Their customer service automated voice says they will not tolerate any treats or verbal abuse. With such appalling service, what the hell do they expect. Folks, don’t waste your money with the RAC muppets, just phone CVR straight away.

Referred by AA - CVR arrived 90 mins before expected time and their operative was very efficient and I was home within 40 mins of him arriving. Not a service you like to have to use but good to know they are around

Excellent experience. RAC outsourced to them to recover my vehicle. First operative was charming, cheerful, reassuring, thought outside the box, helpful, honest and true to his word just what I needed after a stressful evening. The second operative who did eventually recover the vehicle the next day was again lovely- friendly, sympathetic, practical, efficient. He was new and had good things to say about his experience as an employee so far which I think speaks volumes about this company’s integrity. Thank you for your support.

We had our very 'dead' car recovered today by Jamie from Cotswold Vehicle Recovery. He couldn't have been more helpful! Not only did he manage to manoeuvre the car from an awkward position onto his truck, he did it with determination, patience, expertise and all whilst remaining totally calm. Brilliant job Jamie! CVR's recovery service is excellent. I got roadside recovery from them in Sept 2024 and it was the fastest I've ever had - the truck arrived only 35 mins after my initial call. The driver, Harvey, was very professional, a really friendly guy, had me back home with my bike only an hour later than I would have if I hadn't had a flat tyre. Would recommend 100%.

Absolutely first class difficult recovery from my narrow driveway. A 40' recovery truck with a remote fork lift tracked bogey, ramp slides under front and rear wheels, lifts and transports it onto the 40' flatbed. Operators smart and polite, Tony is a good advert for CVR.
