This company is all about robbing the…

This company is all about robbing the people who they're supposed to serve, so while my parking space comes with a parking permit just so no one else can park on my spot, they fined me just because I had parked a courtesy car received from the car service and the permit was not displayed, appeal made, explained why the permit was not in the window, and the rejected my appeal. Extremely disappointed with such policy, where they don't care if you have entitlement over the parking space, they only care to catch you not displaying the permit, which is just a piece of carton written with a pen marker

Disgraceful, unprincipled vultures

This is a disgusting, immoral organisation extorting money out of honest and responsible citizens. They use threatening and alarming tactics to scare vulnerable people to pay up even when they can provide evidence that they have done nothing wrong. It is impossible to speak to a human being. I also have doubts about the integrity of their IT systems as it took me three attempts for my payment for an unjustified fine to be accepted. This was after I categorically know that I had correctly registered my vehicle for a fully legitimate appointment. They insisted that I didn’t. They’re wrong.
IT systems are not always error free as we have all seen of late in the news. Be very wary of this company. They are unprincipled, money grabbing vultures who prey on the old and vulnerable in carparks in medical settings.
This is a very poor reflection of the society we live in. Shame on them.

Claiming money for parking on a private road

I am being taken to small claims court for parking on a private road which partially belongs to the property I own. They ignore everything you tell them, Even though they want you to reply to them. I have received around 100 different threatening letters from various companies that countrywide use to harrass people. In this case they are harassing all of the residents that live in buildings that have right of access over this road. Finally, this company clearly does not properly research the people that they are working for I.e people trying to claim land that they think no one will contest.

One rule fits all!

I parked in the car park right under the sign that says you have to download the app to park there, which I did. After registering my car, it would not accept my password on three occasions. I gave up and left having only been there for 6 minutes. I then get a fine through the post and subsequently they have rejected my appeal, stating that I should have the app before I entered the car park. How could I have the app when I’ve never been there before and followed the instructions in the car park as directed??! If I appeal again and it’s rejected they have said they’ll fine me the full £100 instead of £60. How do these people sleep at night! 😡

Surprised outcome

I did hold a very low opinion of CPM because their overzealous parking attendants are issuing PCNs like confetti.
Recently, I was issued a PCN for parking my car allegedly outside the marked parking bay. My car was parked maybe slightly outside the bay, but it was parked in my own reserved space, not causing any obstruction or inconvenience to anyone.
I appealed against this unjustifiable PCN, expecting my appeal would be rejected.
To my complete amazement, their appeals department actually dealt with my appeal promptly and decided to cancel the PCN.
I sincerely hope that their parking attendants will be more humane and considerate in issuing PCNs, and congratulate the appeals department for their sensible decision on this matter.

Total charlatans

Total charlatans. Fined for 2 minutes parked outside my own flat with the hazards on and dog in the car. Should really be offering them £20 for a minor breach of contract but can't be bothered with the stress.

DONT USE THEM

I pay for parking and have been fined by them twice. So not only do i pay to park under my flat i also have to pay £60 fines when they see fit. \i laughed my head off at the reviews when they got 5 stars. Nice try CWP you wrote your own review and did about as good a job of that as you do of running a carpark. Never been treated this badly as a customer in my entire 56 years on the planet. That said my compant rent 4 or 5 properties here and we are moving out. Apologies to the landlords but they can blame CPW for the departures. They suck money out of their own customers and their IAS is not independant.

Countrywide Parkin Management state in…

Countrywide Parkin Management state in their legalities paragraph that they are appointed to operate on sites to prevent residents allocated spaces being used by other parties. There was an oversight by the property management company who have appointed CPM. to run the site in question and my vehicle details had not been uploaded onto their database. I explained this to CPM after receiving a PCN from them and contacted the property company who promptly rectified the oversight. CPM. however are still pursuing me for the PCN they issued. My appeal was rejected and now I am in arbitration with the independent parking appeals body.
So in conclusion, although they are aware that I have a legal right to use my parking space and I pay service charges for this and I am a resident, they just want £60 no matter what the reason. So ignore their legalities statement, they are not in the business of making residents lives better, easier, fairer but are simply there to catch people out.
I will now be starting a campaign with other residents at this site to have CPM. removed.
I believe they will cause many issues with couriers and visitors who will no longer enter the site for fear of being issued a ticket.

Countrywide and IAS. Corruption in one

Given me a ticket for a overstay of 25 minutes in a 15 minute zone. I asked for proof of the parking pictures and my 2 passes through this zone past the ANPR, as i didnt park due to no availability and known ANPR camera issues. This fault is well documented and relatively common, were the system add's 2 passings as one and claims this as overstay, even you havent even parked. This company has avoided in my appeal to show the proof, then during a 2nd appeal with the IAS and a 6 week long forward and backwards, always avoided to show the proof. At our last mediance they claimed eventually there was no 2nd pass and the so called independant IAS Adjudicator took their word over mine and litteraly called me a lair and said there are no issues with these cameras, even its a prooven fact these cameras have these flaws. The BPA(British Parking Assosiation) admits on their that these faults are a common problem and footage should be checked and if these money grabing individuals would have done, they would have seen 2 passings with in the limits and would have to cancel the fine. They havent done that, as they avoided my questions of proof for weeks and the proof of parking. As i have a company car i have now no other option than to pay and these disgraceful (have no words for these) know that. IAS which is supposed to be independ is just as bias and corrupt as countrywide parking, as they took their word over mine , even i showed proof of everything, asked for proof ,which was denied and IAS declaired that these cameras work correctly and these issues dont exist.

They are the most awful money grabbing…

They are the most awful money grabbing company and I plan to report them to trading standards as I parked unknowingly for 7 minutes not realising it was not the car park for my dentists in Great Denham. As soon as I was advised by the dentists when checking where I parked I moved but as I was 2 minutes over their time limit despite sending the evidence of my medical conditions meaning I cant walk fast they rejected my appeal. I am still awaiting the outcome of my referral to arbitration but despite that they have sent a notice saying despite numerous letters the debt remains unpaid asking now for 140 pounds and if not paid to 170 pou ds. They are a clear scam and I will be raising this with trading standards and would encourage others to do the same. I will also be raising it with the medical centre as to how they can use such scam artists

very dodgy company

I was issued a parking ticket in September , no ticket has been left on my windscreen. Three weeks later I have received a letter in the mail stating that I now have to pay £100 instead of £60 because I haven t paid the charge on time. Have disputed the fact that I have only received just one letter in the mail and no parking ticket charge note has been left on my windscreen. They didn t admit their wrong and devious doing however they ve agreed that I should only pay £60. This company's website has a trust certificate issued by a ghost company in the US with no business address , have raised this concern with Countrywide parking via two emails however no one bothered to reply back. For all I know their dodgy website can steal people banking details. Why would a UK website have a domain trust certificate issued by a company in the US ?

NO CONSCIENCE, SHAME ON THEM!

My dad has terminal cancer and was only parked for 10 minutes to get some emergency medication from the chemist and even though he displayed his Disabled Parking badge he appealed to them to excuse his mistake of not registering his car but "after careful consideration" they rejected it! Shame on them! Money grabbing vipers, I hope they rot in hell! They will probably disallow or remove my review but I feel better for sharing their immoral practices.

Out to get the variable

Their parking signs are not clear and small so you do not see them. I am not a regular to the area and had to pick up medicine for my father as the regular place was out of stock. Thieves £60 for 10 minutes - Not like I parked the whole day.

Tried to buy a permit but no one will help

Tried to buy a permit but no one sent any kind of helpful response. The could confirm this company run the premises I am moving to. But the premises aren't listed and I asked for help with this numerous times but just got threats back of getting charged with a PCN or a link to buy a permit. But as I first said my premises aren't listed so how can I buy the permit. Again another reply with the same link. I am not even parking there currently but still threatened with a PCN. I was also told incorrect prices of £25 per year but this person forgot to say that this does not include VAT so a second person replied with £30 total. Very poor experience. So I won't park at my site and I won't pay for a permit or be charged.

Absolutely shocking service. I have a space which I paid for when I moved into my house 2 years ago. Have repeatedly got fines as they don’t inform you of renewal or process updated car information despite me telling them. I’m not going to renew again.

New client. Rude receptionist.

Impossible to deal with if you are a client looking for parking management. They no longer take any calls so it's an absolute nightmare to establish any kind dialogue with them. Instead, you are greeted by an angry and rude receptionist called Kim who is the most unhelpful person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Zero Stars

I would give zero stars if possible.
At the start of July we were given a parking ticket outside our flat by Countrywide. For the one and only time our permit was not on display we received a ticket. We appealed giving evidence that we had been living in the flat for 6 years, we proved that the parking operative arrived within minuets of us and would easily recognise our car, so why not ask where is our permit? We have also proved that other residents are parking without a permit on a regular basis. All rejected by Countrywide.
Therefore our appeal went to the Independant Appeals Service, after 3 weeks wait they also rejected our appeal stating that legally we are in the wrong and they dont factor in our evidence, IT IS NOT ARBITRATION IF BOTH SIDES ARE NOT REPRESENTED.
I fully understand that our permit was not on display at that moment in time but that is not my argument, why should i need a permit if other residents dont even have one?
If possible stay well away from any privately managed carparks.

these people are imbeciles, do NOT give in to them

If you find yourself reading Google Reviews of countrywide parking then chances are you have received a ticket from these cash-sucking scumbags and are looking for ammunition to fuel your complaint - or maybe you are just curious to see if everyone else loathes them as much as you do. Welcome to the club.

Yet again I find myself wanting to smash my forehead slowly and repeatedly into a brick wall trying to get through to this vile group of imbeciles masquerading as a parking company.

I "received" a ticket from countrywide whilst parked outside my own flat, but was not given one of the hallowed yellow tickets on my car or sent a letter. I guess it's some kind of ghost ticket.

Unsurprisingly I didn't know I had a ticket until I received a letter saying that my fine (what fine) had now increased. Obviously I went to appeal it but conveniently the window for appealing was now closed. No way of contacting them via phone, no email for inquiries or complaints of course.

After emailing their info (at) email address I was told that they can receive appeals by post (obviously not doing that, this isn't the bronze age times have moved on).

I've since started getting letters from debt collectors (not paying them, go on, take me to court) and have lodged complaints with the International Parking Community, the British Parking Association and Dorset Council (who are parent company to Seascapes, the company that I pay my rent to)

If you're reading this as the recipient of an unfair parking ticket: my heart goes out to you, keep fighting the good fight and do not let these suckers win at any cost

If you are reading this as an employee of countrywide: pigs will fly before I pay your stupid unfair fine. I will never give up. bite me.
