Great product - able to provide insurance just for the days we need while learning to drive, excellent price and super convenient.
The tech is not great UX, but it works, and easy enough to book in the days we need and navigate the purchase experience with good terms on the insurance.
We were a bit put off by the reviews, but experience has been excellent so far.
Very grateful for this product offering, so needed for learner drivers!
Took my money, but could not access policy with the code supplied by them! Could not contact them to rectify as it was the weekend. I had to purchase cover from another company so my daughter could prepare for her driving test. Tried to contact them on Monday to complain and get my money back without success.

This has been amazing, you can add additional policy days and insured days so easily, saved us so much money!
System works once you are up and running, although any mistake on booking driving-days results in the pin being blamed for the issue. Software behind it is a bit ropey but actual people support has tended to be good.
Great was to save some money on the cost of learning to drive.
My son is unable to practice his driving everyday due to work and college commitments. We have been using Covered on demand for the last couple of months to help my son.
Great we can just book a days insurance when know we he will get use of mine and my wife’s car to practice.
Very impressed…. will continue using.
I've lost my pin and when I try to recover it, it just keeps going back to start. Can't ring them. When I try to email them via link nothing happens. Judge for yourself

Hi Martin,
I have looked into this for you and can see your initial email was sent at 6.44pm on 31st March 2023, and was rectified for on same evening by 9.41pm. It looks like the issue was the wrong postcode was being entered which is why it wouldn't accept your pin given to you in your welcome mail.
Once the correct postcode was entered by yourself i'm pleased to see you went on to successfully book Insured Driving Days on various occasions up to the end of your policy.
We are contactable via email at motor@coveredinsurance.com 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday and aim to respond the same day. When possible we try to resolve issues like this the same day even, if they come in after hours. We also have extensive FAQ's to help should customers encounter any issues.

Excellent value for money, and brilliant customer service. Initially I was worried they haven't send my insurance certificate, so I emailed them to enquire. They've replied to my email within 10 minutes of sending it and promptly resent my documents. I will be using their services again for sure

Very poor service.
Slow, bureaucratic and un-interested in actually helping a customer.
Feel like you are just being fobbed off all the time.
You just go round in circles of admin and time wasting.
They work with 3rd parties and seem happy to blame them for delays rather than sorting things out.
The people on the phones seem OK but the system is awful.
Tried to get cover paid for it and on the day policy started they said i was longer covered they took the money cancelled the policy and charged me cancellation fees do not use this company its a con

Not overly expensive for provisional insurances.
You can book for a certain number of days to drive in a set amount of time, and can just book each day you want and immediately can drive.
Really simple to use and reliable.
Documents sent each time you book a day to drive straight away via email.
