Tom Jones was great, can't deny that. Unfortunately evening ruined by the drunks in the crowd fighting. Same thing happened at billy ocean. Stop selling alcohol to folks who are already smashed. The security are fantastic at piece hall but they have better things to be doing than dealing with fat white drunks who cannot handle the booze.

The Scarborough Open Air Theatre was very well organised. We had brilliant seats. James Taylor was wonderful and his band were all top musicians. The people near us were happy and friendly. A brilliant, memorable evening.

Very good venue, sounds was good, seating and view good. Downside, not good organisation for seating in stands, colour system was not prominent, lots of people had issues with seats, no one to assist either

Didn’t go to Tom Jones at Piece Hall couldn’t face another evening of agony with aching legs . Sold my ticket . Too much standing on stone flags haven’t recovered from Billy Ocean yet

What a lovely venue Scarborough Open Air Theatre is! Plenty of toilets, food and drink stalls, and the staff are cheerful and helpful. The sound and lighting is brilliant, and whilst it is relatively small anyway, it feels even smaller with an intimate atmosphere that connects you to the artist. Every time I have been, the performer comments on what a great vibe they have enjoyed too, and of course the surrounding area is beautiful.
I’m looking forward already to see who will be appearing next year. The acts just keep getting bigger.

Went to see Sir Tom Jones last night. Wow, what a guy, there maybe an element that his age is creeping up on him but at 86 not surprising, still WOW, been to 6 gigs at the Piece Hall in the last 12 months & this was by far the best.
Well done Tom, keep going & what an inspiration, you show all these young kids, anyone under 70 how ifs done, loved it

Thoroughly enjoyed Tom Jones in spite of the wet night.
Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was how late the show ran. Tom was due to start at 8pm but only started at 8.50pm. I work nights and that meant I had lo leave before the end of the show.

Sorry but needed a better build up to get the crowd going like you did for Billy Ocean. A DJ and band that played the same 60s 70s music. If that had been so tonight nobody would have known it was raining which our case and plenty of people around us agreed. All in all a great night though.

Had a great evening watching James Taylor and his Allstar Band at the Scarborough open air theatre.
The atmosphere was excellent and the venue brilliant, helped by it being a lovely summer evening .
One small criticism, there was only one coffee seller and we spent the whole interval queuing for coffee, making us late for the second half of the show.
But otherwise everything was really good, we had a fabulous evening.

Venue not suitable for the older end.
Limited seating opportunities. The star was Sir Tom Jones and a lot of the older people found standing very uncomfortable. Should be a seating option with an extra charge which I would happily pay for.
I'm sat at home now taking co-codamol for back pain. Come on Piece Hall cater for all age groups !!

James Taylor and his band gave us one of the best evenings I can remember.

James Taylor concert great performance and a great evening. James was a favourite many moons ago and played many favourites from early albums plus he is a great story teller. Scarborough open air theatre is a good music venue sound system and views are good and well managed

Fabulous night at Scarborough open air theatre to see Teddy Swims. Great seats, great music, great venue (helped of course by the weather)

Using the app to transfer the tickets to my family was so easy

Positive Always go here to concerts always a fantastic artist on, Very organised to get in.Negative people seem to get confused on seating..Also the Vaping the last two times while seated it is getting bad no excuse when there are designated areas for it..Then the last thing is the big grassed car park is not manned properly you pay to park before 6.00pm.On going back to go home Cars had blocked exit..Also every direction of the field was blocked if you left early nobody could leave it was a disaster there was one staff member near end but there was nothing he could do .A few years ago this was monitored well before start of concert and the staff were telling them where to park maybe cut backs but still a fantastic venue..

Very good clear sound systems brilliant screen and good organisation at the venue
