Currys - Reading Avis 

We were served by Williams from the Reading store. He was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable about the products that we looked at. 10 out of 10 from my perspective. Thankyou for your help.

The delivery drivers went above and beyond, were very helpful and kindly helped with the packaging even though it was not their responsibility. Within the projected time frame too. Thanks.

Worst company to deal with for genuine refunds. Bought office for my PC and product code would not work so went to store who were not interest but to ring CS online. They said go back to store with an email from them to generate a refund. Then had to go to a DPD depot to return. Asked to speak with the manager and he said I am the manager. That explains all. Would have given 0 stars but no box. Last time purchasing from this shambolic company full of - nothing to do with me/us - people.

the website made it clear that the product was in stock near me so I booked and picked it up when they said they had retrieved it from the warehouse. Saved me a lot of effort and time.

Looking to buy a new TV, we visited a Curry’s Store and was impressed by the choice available on the shop floor. A member of staff approached and advised us on the relative merits of different TVs within our budget range. He was amazing; we were very impressed with his in-depth knowledge and he made it so much easier for us to make our choice

Staff in the Reading store are not interested in helping. I asked where phone cases were and waved in the right direction. I asked for help as I couldnt read the tiny writing in their labels but no one came. ( girl at desk said she had to say sitting down). Then were very rude when I went to pay saying i shouldn’t have taken it off the shelf myself (someone needed to unlock the protection tab). I ont bother going in again, it’s much easier online and I can actually get help understand what product meets my need

Excellent, the fitters couldn't fit our washing machine and so got electricians to come in within one hour of having to leave the house. Washing machine up and running and happy customers.

In and out in 10 minutes with a new TV. Knowledgeable sales assistant, sorted me out straight away, no messing about. Thank you

I ordered online with collection from store. The item hadn't been taken to the collection point so had to wait probably about 10 mins before the collection person went to the warehouse to bring the tv to me. She was very polite and friendly and carried it to the car for me. 10 out 10 for customer service. She was an angel 100%

Easy to walk into a showroom and buy the product you want sales person very helpful and soon booked a delivery time slot.

How can you improve?
1. Employ a few more salesman. I was one of a few customers waiting to be served and actually had to ask someone at the counter to get me a salesman after 10 minutes of none of your salesman taking a blind bit of a notice in me
What can you do better? Well, this was my buying experience.
1. I wanted a relatively inexpensive printer
2. When I finally got a salesman we agreed on an hp printer. The price was £44.99 or thereabouts.
3. He offered me insurance at £13 which I agreed to take
4. When I got to the counter He tried to charge me £17 for the insurance until I corrected him. He then handed me over to another member of staff.
5. That member of staff then tried to charge me £62 for the £44.99 printer
I then had to go back, take a photo of the printer and advertised price to prove i was right.
6. In between all this adventure there was a lot of standing around waiting whilst something or other got checked.
7. In all, I reckon I was in your shop at least 20 minutes longer than necessary because of a load of faffing around.

Not enough selection of goods

The customer lift was out of order , i am disabled so negotiating the stairs to 2nd floor was extremely arduous.

Well treated and a good experience person

Visited currys to purchase coffee machine. We needed some advice but there wasn’t any staff about to ask . Approached someone downstairs and was advised that a member of staff will come and help . No one ever did . Decided to buy particular machine . Took empty box to cash desk . Young girl behind cash desk was really quite rude, no please ‘s and Thankyou’s . When paid for she pushed the empty box toward us. I said that we need the coffee machine as it’s a display box . She rang through someone at the warehouse who then came out to get box. We waited a fair few minutes . We then approached a manager who then said it will be 2 minutes . We could see the panic in his face . It appeared that they couldn’t find said coffee machine I. The store . We waited 11 minutes whilest they tagged around looking for product. We decided to get a refund there and then. A very bad shopping experience

I arrived at the store with 20 minutes to go before closing. When upstairs to the washing machines. Shop assistant Nick was with a customer only has to wait. 5 minutes showed him which washing machine I wanted he then went through.All the different functions that the machine does and technical stuff. Then went ahead and ordered it. I was out at the store within 20 minutes. Excellent experience, scoring Nick a ten out of 10.
