Curtains Made For Free Avis

Requested a sample of the Crushed Velvet Citrus curtain material which arrived in 2 days.Loved it.Placed order for 2 pairs of curtains with FastTrack. As good as their word received on 10th day well packaged individually in 4 boxes. To say we are pleased with our choice is an huge understatement! We love them!Well made (to our exact measurements) and great quality..this is our first time use of ‘curtains made for free’ and from our experience would highly recommend them.Thank you.

I have used this company before so ordered three pairs for our new house. I haven't hung them yet until the move but they look perfect and as always are beautifully made. My previous curtains from this company have been really well made.

Excellent product, excellent service!
The website helped us search for what we wanted & then narrow our choices down. I had a couple of queries before ordering, which were handled in a helpful, timely and friendly manner. The order of 3-4 items arrived exactly as promised. We are thrilled with the finish and look of the curtains and blind. Really good quality. Thank you!

Repeat customer, couldn’t find anywhere cheaper. They even sourced a bespoke material for me that wasn’t in stock. Had great customer service support on measuring and the blind arrived within stated timescales. High quality and a personalised service, sure I’ll be back again!

Excellent service. Curtains look great. Very well made. Second time I have used Curtains Made for Free and would highly recommend

Lovely curtains, well made and just what we asked for.
Would definitely recommend this company and will be using them again when I need more curtains!
Thank you so much.

Sadly, we have had a bad experience with this company. We ordered a pair of curtains with a 112 cm drop. We found that one of the curtains only had a drop of 101 cm and that the patterns had not been matched across the pair.
This only came to light six months after the curtains had been delivered. On receipt, it became clear that the double width we had ordered was too much for the window, given the thickness of the material and the way it bunched.
At that time, we did not check the length of either curtain. We left them in the box deciding what to do. Eventually, we hit upon having one of the curtains split in two and the other made into cushions.
It was the seamstress we commissioned to do this work who pointed out the two errors made by the company.
We wrote to the company asking for our money back but expecting to reach some sort of compromise. We offered to accept £50 being the charge the seamstress made for altering the ‘short’ curtain. The best she could do by altering the bottom hem and the header tape was a drop of 110 cm.
The company refused to accept that any mistake had been made at their end choosing instead to imply that we and our seamstress were lying.
Clearly, our experience is out of line with most of the very good reviews posted on this site.
I am very sad that the company has refused to accept a very fair offer to settle. We have a pair of curtains that are just about usable and a nice set of matching cushions but the whole episode has been very unsatisfactory.

Curtains arrived within the time specified, exactly as ordered and neatly made. Very happy with them.

We are very pleased with our purchases from “Curtains Made for Free”. Had to order a full set after moving house, no time / space to make my own this time. Well made and prompt delivery. Thank you.

Wanted two Roman blinds. Curtains made for free price matched another slightly cheaper company and then made the blinds in 4 weeks rather than their advertised 6 weeks. They are beautiful quality - very glad we could support a local company in the process. Cheerful and professional over phone and in person when I collected.

Great service and an amazing finish on the curtains. They look incredible.

Absolute first class service and stunning blind. Very reasonably priced and superb quality. Could not be happier.......

Very well made and competitive costs. Only disappointed by the time scale 6 weeks although could have paid a fee of £90 to jump the que which I did not agree with. We have curtain fitter come to our home and measure and with me fitting would have cost £500 to £800 more expensive with the very same fabric so cut out the middle man and do the measurements yourself

I had found the fabric I wanted for my curtains in a local blind store, but the price was very high and the customer service was non existent. After searching for the fabric across various stores, I got a quote for custom made curtains in the fabric I wanted from Curtains Made for Free - at £200 less than the next cheapest quote. I was actually sceptical because of the price, but I didn’t need to worry. My curtains and matching tie backs are beautifully made and look lovely. I was quoted 6 weeks delivery and they arrived 6 weeks to the day that I ordered them. The measuring guide was easy to follow and made me much more comfortable ordering online. Highly recommended!

Extremely pleased with my curtains. i had them made to measure and they are perfect. Very good finish and workmanship, lovely material. They took 6 weeks to arrive, but I was told this when I ordered them and they were worth the wait. Half the price of the last pair i bought from a shop. Will recommend this company to all my friends.

I am delighted with the quality and cost of the curtains. Because they were so reasonably priced I was able to upgrade to fuller width and bonded interlining. I opted for the fast track service which arrived 8 days later. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to people.

Just taken delivery of my curtains which were well packed and look absolutely gorgeous. Took quite a while to arrive but otherwise excellent

This is the second order of curtains that I have purchased over the years. These are super quality both in the fabric and construction. Easy to keep track of where my order was in its construction. And arrived earlier than expected, an added bonus. Super choice in range of fabrics we were spoilt for choice.

Also had an online chat with one of the staff about getting my older order curtains cleaned. Really fast reply with good directions and things to be aware of. Will definitely recommend.

I am extremely pleased with my curtains which arrived well within the quoted six week window. The bay window is very wide and needed three as a had widths of material which was too big a job for me to attempt at home. The finish is very good indeed and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
I also ordered extra fabric to make a pelmet and this arrived with the finished curtains, cut from the same batch.

I do not recommend and will not order again.
